Sierra was a great tour guide. She shared a lot of history about the islands and the people. Highly recommend her.

Our tor guide “cousin Benny” was professional & knowledgeable while being really friendly and made the tour enjoyable in every way. Our pickup was convenient (our own resort) and on time. USS Arizona Tour was absolutely fantastic - sombre, respectful and full of information. Loved it!
We wanted to see and experience the site of Pearl Harbour and get the real info to see the Arizona as it its and to know the information is heartbreaking 😢 💔 was a hard experience
Knowledgeable driver . We breezed in and had clear directions making the experience much easier! Wasted no time giving us clear "go here" , "do this" directions and they worked great. Plenty of time to tour the grounds at our pace
We booked the "Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona Plus Downtown Honolulu" tour in German for our family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 12 and 13) and paid over USD 400 in total. Based on the description, we expected an actual guided tour. Instead, what we received was essentially transportation to Pearl Harbor with some information during the drive. Once we arrived at Pearl Harbor, we were simply dropped off at the Visitor Center and had to explore everything on our own. Pearl Harbor itself is completely free to visit, and we even had to purchase the German audio guide ourselves for an additional USD 10. We also had to join the standby line for the USS Arizona Memorial because no tickets were included. The short drive through downtown Honolulu with a few brief stops does not justify the high price of this tour. Looking back, we would have had exactly the same experience by driving there ourselves in our rental car, while saving over USD 400. After contacting customer service, we were informed that guides are not allowed to accompany guests inside Pearl Harbor due to National Park Service regulations. We understand and respect those rules. However, our main criticism is that this is not communicated clearly enough before booking. The tour description gives the impression that you are booking a guided Pearl Harbor experience, when in reality it is primarily a transportation service. After reading the Google reviews, we noticed that several other customers had the same misunderstanding, which suggests that the tour description could be much clearer. Our recommendation: drive to Pearl Harbor yourself, park there, and purchase the official audio guide if you would like additional information. You will have virtually the same experience for a fraction of the price.
The tour car driver was great. However this company charged us $79 per person for Pearl Harbor tickets and they also don’t purchase tickets and let us put ourselves in waitlist as we arrive in the memorial which you can do on your own without them too. If i have not booked through them and directly showed up in the morning, it would have cost me $3 for 3 folks and now it costs me more than $250 for 3. I would NOT recommend anyone to book through them and pay this much amount just for 15-20 minutes cab drive and very small downtown tour.
If you are traveling to Honolulu, it’s a definite must see. It was a somber feeling. The respect and reverence displayed for those who have died. Our tour guide Christine was very knowledgeable and patient. I liked how early we went because the day became very hot afterwards. The tour company was able to accommodate me, and even picked me up at my hotel even though it was not listed as one of their pick up locations. Great service. The only recommendation would be to have water on the bus for everyone. It was extremely hot. It was a great value for the information that we received and the places we went.
Loved the door to door pickup/dropoff in a private small group air conditioned van. Tour guide Ben has a great personality and very knowledgeable about Oahu. Enjoyed being able to get on first boat out at 8:00am to pay respects at the memorial with the Early Entrance ticket. Lots of time to see everything and for small additional fee to go on the submarine on site . Easy to grab snacks and water to stay hydrated on sunny days. Gift shop has variety of options to take home something memorable. Would recommend when visiting the island for the first time. Thank you
Only transportation really. No tour guide, just instructions on trip, and your on your own. It just wasn't what I expected.
Excellent overview of pearl harbour and Hawaii tour. If you want to see pearl harbour in-depth at least a half day is needed
We went early and were so glad. It was cooler and less crowded. When it got warm we saw the two films and visited the museum in air conditioning. Small bags and clear bags were allowed.
Excellent overview of pearl harbour and city tour. If you want to see all of pearl harbour you would need to book at least 1/2 day
Touring pearl harbor and Arizona memorial is quite the humbling experience. The history behind this site is truly amazing to think back on. There are several nougats to obtain that will add a fresh twist to what you know about this history or at least it gave me some additional insight. Beyond the tour, I found that the gift shop was overpriced.
Well thought out - very early start meant beginning with fewer people around (it was fairly crowded by 3 hrs later). Guides can’t accompany groups beyond the main entrance area, but ours did an excellent job of orienting us and explaining how to use the standby line for USS Arizona tickets. Whole experience very much worth it - museums, ALL the outdoor plaques and displays, and the Arizona. Note that the Marine Museum is a separate ticket - tour did list clearly what was included, though. Drive to/through historic sites in Honolulu also interesting, including Punchbowl cemetery. Our guide provided helpful historical and social context. Visit to small museum in the Supreme Courts building was fascinating.
Great. Very interesting and heartfelt.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this half day, small group tour of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Sites and Downtown Honolulu monuments. Our guide, Christine, was very sociable and knowledgeable about the places we visited. She was also a great driver which helps if you get car sick easily! Highly recommend, we will be using Daniels Tours for other activities soon!☀️
Sierra was a hit! We thoroughly enjoyed her cultural insight as we hopped from one sight to the other. Learned a lot & had fun with her as our driver.
I would firstly say the people on the ground running the tours are great and hard working people. Our tour guide was friendly and professional and informative. My beef is with the cost and what we got for our money. We wanted to see Pearl Harbour and the memorial and war museum. No where in our conversation with bookings did it say pay $170 for two people and “oh by the way you might not make it in to the memorial and even if you do you will only have 2hrs to see everything and then we must move on to the city tour”. So we paid the money for pick up found out we basically spent $170 for a one way drive to pearl harbour and some very simple instructions on how to buy your tickets to get into the Memorial. We opted not to be picked up two hours later because there is way too much stuff to see in only two hours. Once we were done 4.5 hrs later we took a public bus back to Waikiki.
Our tour guide Christine was wonderful. She was on time and kept our group on schedule with the activities. Christine gave us a lot of history while on the bus, and made it interesting at the same time. And the walking portion of the tour was great! Christine is a fantastic guide. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, Heather, was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour with Heather. She was very informative and helpful.
I would definitely recommend this tour. They were very helpful arranging this trip ie meeting site etc. My friends who hadn’t been here before enjoyed the addition of Honolulu sites to the pearl harbor tour. Heather our tour guide from Daniel Hawaii was excellent. She made us feel comfortable and provided great information.
We had a wonderful experience with Daniels! Our tour guide cousin Ben has a great personality and was extremely knowledgeable! If we get a chance to return to the island we would not hesitate to book with Daniels! 😀😃👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Pearl Harbor was amazing! However, we really didn’t need 4.5 hours there. Spent about an hour and a half waiting around to meet back up. Then, there was no guided walking tour of downtown. Our driver parked for 20 minutes in downtown and we had to race around and try to find the sites ourselves and rush back to the bus. Wish some of the Pearl Harbor time had been used for downtown.
Not impressed with this company. My Mom and I signed up for a tour because we had attempted to secure tickets for Pearl Harbor online, but weren't successful. To be sure we had guaranteed tickets, we signed up with the company. We signed up for a 6:30 pick up and were confirmed to be gone until 12:30. The next morning, we were down waiting for the shuttle and noticed that there was a text saying we had been bumped to 8:15. No one ever called, just sent an email and text. My mother doesn't sit on her phone like most so we hadn't noticed. When the driver came, she was rather short with us and mentioned that she had her group, we were not on her list. We received a call at 7:20 saying we had been moved. Remember, our confirmation was for 6:30. It's clear that the company took a family of 6 over our 2 reservations and moved us to a later time without our agreement and no compensation. Yet had we cancelled or moved the reservation, we would have had to pay. It's disappointing that they couldn't have made the call for our approval or to let us know. Not at all happy with this service. Book with someone else! We got to see the USS Arizona but it really was an expensive uber.
Sierra was a great guide. I enjoyed her personality and honesty concerning the history she shared. The pace of the tour was comfortable and the tour was a good length.
This is a really special area! It was enlightening and I learned thing they didn’t teach in history classes
We got a call this morning stating that the shuttle van would be at our hotel soon, 30 minutes into a 45 min pickup window. 10 min later they said that we weren't marked on the paperwork properly for the diver, and would we be willing to go tomorrow instead? This is our last day in Hawaii, so that wouldn't work. They instructed us to get an Uber to Pearl Harbor, and that they would reimburse us for the expense. We were instructed to meet the van at 2:15 PM to leave, which is when the entire tour ends, so was likely incorrect. We were given no instructions on how to get into Pearl Harbor. 15 minutes after catching the Uber, we got a return call asking to talk to our Uber driver. We told them that we would put them on speaker phone, because the Uber driver was driving. He was asked to turn around and take us to "the king statue" (King Kamehameha), but not to drop us off for 25 minutes. The Uber driver said no, because neither the remaining drive to Pearl Harbor nor returning back to the statue would take 25 minutes. He was instructed again to not drop us off any sooner than 25 minutes, which he again refused to do. I told them to we were cancelling the tour, because this was becoming a ridiculous amount of entitlement treating our Uber driver like a tour employee or our chauffeur. Since they wanted us to meet up with the tour late and not early, I figured we were being setup for another botched pickup. We ended up paying $30 total to do a giant circle back to our hotel.
What attracted us to this tour was the guaranteed tickets to the Arizona Memorial. Also, Christine was a fantastic guide. Her communication and flexibility on pickup and drop off were very clear and helpful. She gave us some great historical information and was able to answer the questions that came to our minds. Overall, a great experience.
Uncle Benny was fun. He made the experience great. Plenty of time was given at Pearl Harbor to explore in my opinion. I also thought the extra step stool for helping us in and out of the van was great.
I felt as though I was able to say goodbye to my grandad who went down on the Repulse roughly the same time it was very moving
Christine was a great driver and guide. Enjoyed the tour of downtown and the time at Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor filmed told the story of that day. Great job by the park service.
This tour was a total sham. We did not get tickets to the USS Arizona they took us to Pearl harbor and said go get ourselves into the standby line. The pickup time was before we had any chance of getting called in the standby line. The tour lady was nice at the beginning then rude once she found out we would possibly not be returning with her so we could try stay to get on the Arizona boat ride. We didn't even go to any beaches that were advertised and she pointed at the eternal flame memorial from across the street while she took us to one of the statues on the tour. We were supposed to go there also but the company was overbooked and she was in a rush to get the next group of tourists so she skipped more than half of the tour. Please do yourself a favor and plan a trip on your own.
Absolute waste of money. Just an overly priced uber ride. Would not recommend this operator. Booked for 3 in our family and paid $190 and some change. No communication from the operator about pick up, after contacting multiple times, finally came to know the pick up for 6:30am the next day. Upon arrival at Pearl Harbor, there were no tickets given as per the instructions. We were asked to go on the kiosk and check in and wait for the boat ride, had no clue if we would get it in time or not. After everything was done, we were taken to downtown to see a monument and a building and that’s all. The whole trip was about 3 hours and we were not taken to any places as mentioned in the Itinary except 2. I would highly suggest taking a uber ride or even park your car for $7 at the facility. There is no price for the ticket to see Arizona ( memorial).
Amazing . It was so busy and she was able to extend the time so we can get the full experience of the tour. Thank you Heather.
Informative, relatable and enjoyable. Got to hear the native side of history and story. Wouldn't have known about Hawaiian history ...
Fascinating and moving visit to Pearl Harbour. Excellent guide who gave us a lot of information about the island and its history.
Good visit. Enjoyed the pearl harbour and the Arizona memorial bits of the tour. Your guide was okay in the morning but seemed to loose the plot abit after the pearl harbour stop. Took us the the Supreme Court to see where Hawaii five o was filmed but that was it. Nothing else done after the pearl harbour bit of the tour.
Entire tour was rushed. Ne & my 2 kids almost got left behind considering it was a small grp of 14. Was only given 5 mins at Aloha tower . We were walking towards the tour van when the tour guide/driver closed the door. Not worth the cost.
Full visit to Pearl Harbor Amazing and very emotional experience Audioguide in different languages Interview of veterans of second world war who were on Oahu when Pearl Harbor bombing happened really emotional Thanks overall to Nasia who took us to the memorial and explained the tour very well and also guided us to Iolani Palace and explained the history of Hawaii, the palace the Queen the King as well of the flag Nasia really top guide !!! Awesome !!!!
Memorial was educational, powerful and historical. I would recommend to others. It was a good opportunity to explore a new geographic region of the country.
It was a wonderful tour, Sierra was AMAZING, she made us feel very welcome, she was knowledgable, clear, friendly and so much fun to hang out with. We 100% recommend this tour. Great time and very interesting, great information.
Not sure what we paid for? Maybe just the ride to Pearl Harbour. We paid extra to get ticket to Arizona Memorial when in fact that is free! City walk tour was to look at 4 statues. No mention of Hawaii five O until I asked back in van only to be told yeah it was that statue area. Were told could not bring bags to Pearl Harbour day before tour but then got told on day a clear bag is acceptable…… too late to organise one. Overpriced for what we got…..spent most time collecting and dropping people even from airport .
The tour was great. Visited both the USS Arizona and USS Missouri memorials. Afterwards got a quick tour of Honolulu. The tour guide was a native and very knowledgeable about the Hawaiian history. Would recommend.
Best part of the trip. So sad to know some mothers children suffered and died that day. Hawaii is a place of love and family. So, they died in a place where they will forever be loved
It was a great tour to visit memorial place, our tour guide very communicative, knowledgeable, and agile person. Proud be native she told lot of history 👍tour is recommended
Excellent tour. Our guide Christine was very informative and knowledgeable. She explained everything perfectly. Definitely would recommend this tour to anyone
The tour was really good and well organised. Christine was a lovely guide, a wealth of information and very friendly.
This was a wonderful tour, our guide Christine was right on time to pick us up at our hotel. Kristine made sure everybody knew the history of Honolulu. I didn’t know that it started off with Monarchy. She told us about the and how they took over, we saw the palace, And the statues of the king. Christine was so informative. We made our way over to Pearl Harbor, which was very humbling and so interesting, but very sad. We saw the oil coming up from the ship that has been in the ocean since 1941.. Memorial and the pieces of the Arizona that was destroyed on that terrible day. Then we made our way To the aloha, which Christine explained lights up in different colors every night . The group was small, and the van was a beautiful Mercedes van, which was extremely comfortable and extremely clean. Christine made the tour so enjoyable. She made sure she answered everyone’s questions and you could tell her passionate she was about showing us the history. We definitely recommend this tour. Ask for Christine to be your guide.
Nadzia was outstanding as a tour guide. Very knowledgeable. Sense of humor. She is a keeper! Deserves a big raise.
Sierra was a great tour guide, loads of fun, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable being a native of the island.
