Dolphin Watch Cruise With Waterslide & Snorkeling On Oahu

The vessel, the dolphins, the slide, the crew were great Will recommend the experience itself. The crew actually has prescription snorkel and made one of my most amazing snorkel experiences. The slide and lounge mat are fun. Only hitch was the first mate Tim, or whoever was second in command, who kept repeating atleast 10 times for non swimmers and non confident swimmers to stay in the vessel. I have been on 100s of snorkel trips and dozens of dives with amazing guides who push and challenge you while keeping you safe. I can understand good intention but was discouraging. I saw quite a few people back out of getting into the water because of his prodding, and trust swimming with dolphins is not the same as watching dolphins from a boat. Either the tour, should clearly take only swimmers and mention it in the package, or should make provision for moderate swimmers after taking our money and taking us to the middle of the ocean. I can appreciate him telling once for safety and then focusing on making sure we had fun.

Took the dolphin watching plus snorkeling excursion. Saw pods of pilot whales. Lots of keiki on our trip. Friendly staff. Minor thing is limited food options - vegan couldn’t eat the wrap and someone didn’t like mustard so couldn’t eat the sandwich. Chips were nice.

This is a great tour if you want to watch dolphins swimming freely in the ocean. They swim alongside the boat and make impressive passes and jumps, seemingly just for their own enjoyment. The guides were outstanding and took excellent care of the children. It was also enjoyable to swim in the ocean, and the kids had a great time on the slides. If your main interest is snorkeling, however, this is not the tour to choose. We barely saw any fish, although we were able to hold a starfish. We didn't see any colorful fish—or, in fact, any fish at all.

SO AMAZING crew member Olivia and the captain and rest of the crew were so kind and helpful through the tour. They gave us information about the isalnd and the dolphins. Recommend this tour 10/10 and the Poseidon boat if you can get it it’s super big and serve lunch and great staff!!

There is a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off, which was very convenient). Our crew (Peter, Koa, Paul, and Keona) were outstanding! They were so friendly, fun, helpful, accommodating, informative, and personable. The crew always ensured everyone’s safety and explained things very well. We saw so much wildlife and even got to hold a starfish! We also had a yummy lunch with some good tunes and nice conversations. This experience was accommodating of all skill and comfort levels. This was our favorite experience by far and look forward to going back again!

This was an excellent excursion for our family adventure of 7. Our captain Seth and his crew of Wylie, Ryan, Travis, Tim and photographer Yuya were outstanding and very informative.

No, absolutely nothing, it was absolutely fantastic, everything was magical, it was a dream come true. They couldn't have been better, because those who kept at it should have great praise for everything. Getting so close to the dolphins and even the turtles was what we had been longing to do. Longer visit. They were very good at what they did, and very nice in their dealiIngs don't know, I haven't done anything like this before .I don't know, I haven't done anything like this before.no absolutely not

I brought my mom and 2 teenage girls on this cruise and it exceeded our expectations by a large margin! The entire crew was amazing and beyond helpful. Between captain Stef, photographer Yuya, deck crew Lucas, and first mate Tim, we were in excellent hands. They were knowledgeable about the land, water, sea creatures, boat, snorkeling, safety, and more. We saw an abundance of humpback whales and spinner dolphins from the boat. When we snorkeled, we saw a starfish and several other small sea creatures. Following the snorkel, we heard humpback whales singing. The crew played the live singing through the speakers on the boat. Pretty sure there were baby whales singing along. 🐋 It was absolutely beautiful! I will come back next time I’m in town. Thanks so much for such a wonderful and unique experience!

The team went above and beyond to sail further into the sea and found so many dolphins swimming around us. Shantele is such a humorous and considerate captain; Tim explains a lot about animals (oh yes we also saw a Mahi-mahi); Bryan keeps you slide safe while taking good pics of you; Joanna quickly points to us where the whales are. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!

We had multiple sightings of spinner dolphins and turtles. The crew were very friendly and helpful, especially Laura!

We saw spinner dolphins which gave us quite a show. There was more then 50 of them swimming right next to the boat but we weren’t lucky enough to swim with them, their behavior wasn’t for swimming with them that day. We also saw 3 monk seals which are endangered species, there is only about 1600 of them left in the world. We also swam with turtles which was fun. The crew nailed it, they did great in every way.

Pick up from Waikiki is at 5:30AM then you drive around to pick up a herd of people for an hour before you then drive another hour to the west side of Honolulu. After 2 hours of uncomfortable bus ride, you stand in a parking lot with NO bathroom access and no food or drink access. Then you finally board the boat where you drive around for 2 more hours without getting into the water. Maybe you see dolphins, maybe you do not, but at this point is it worth the 4 hours at that point? Then, after possibly watching dolphins from the boat, you just go back to the docking area where you actually snorkel for 30 minutes in murky water near rocks and minimal sea life. While snorkeling the boat starts to drift toward the rocks and the “captain” turns on the propellers with people in the water and near the boat. 7 hours round trip for 30 minutes of terrible snorkeling. Just snorkel in waikiki, save the time and the terrible dangerous experience. Oh yeah, you also sign a waiver saying that you cannot sue them (they turn on the boat with people in the water). The absolute worst experience I have ever had on similar tours. Look for smaller groups, much more pleasant.

Amazing experience! Out of all experiences in Hawaii this was our favorite! Our 9year old had the best birthday! We saw a ton of dolphin es and fishes and turtles! The crew was the sweetest and even let our son hold a sea orchid.

This 3-4 hour trip is a wonderful experience because we were able to see the dolphins so close! When we snorkeled, we saw sea turtles both a huge one and a smaller one. The crew are also nice, friendly and would give you instructions to secure your safety so people get nervous easily can enjoy! I would recommend this dolphin experience whenever you visit Honolulu, but always remember to take the motion sickness before you onboard.

This was an incredible experience! To be able to swim with dolphins was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Iruka staff knew the exact spots to go so we could have an amazing experience. We saw three different types of dolphins (which was a rare treat), sea turtles, pin sea stars, and many beautiful types of fish. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and put safety first. With fun, as a close second. They know how to run the tour so that it is good for all ages and abilities. Make sure you try the slide - that was fast and fun too. Lunch was tasty and greatly appreciated after all the fun in the sun. This was a fabulous tour at a great price! I'd highly recommend booking a tour with this company. Captain Stef, 1st mate Dallin, and the deck crew: Koa, Drew, Joanna, Minako, Amelie, Ayumi, and Yuya, the talened, photographer, were took great care of us!

The best boat adventure I have been on in Hawaii. The staff were superior in every way. We saw at least 4 pods of Dolphins and several sea turtles. Two dolphin species gathered at the boat’s bow, some accompanied by their calves. Simply amazing!!!

Outstanding experience. Our tour guide Laurel did an excellent job. The captain, Stef, skillfully guided the boat to provide us with two dolphin viewings. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes dolphins. Also, we saw multiple turtles during the snorkeling portion, they swam right up to us (you are not allowed to pet them)!

I loved the crew, they were very welcoming and made everything easier for us we have a 6 years old going with us and they made sure she had fun and safe! definitely coming back!! it was our first time snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour we saw many dolphins and turtles!!

Everything was incredible on this tour. We feel super grateful to the crew for everything they did to make our experience special and safe! We really appreciated our captain Shanti who was knowledgeable and kind- great playlist also! The rest of the crew, Dallin, Lucas, Drew, Ken, the other Japanese interpreter, and Jake all worked hard to make sure we were able to see dolphins and have a really special fun and safe time. This was an absolutely awesome adventure!!! My 8 year old was reluctant to jump in the first opportunity but luckily we had a second chance to swim with dolphins not long afterward. The crew was super helpful and fun. My 8 year old really enjoyed the open water swim and with the encouragement and help of Joanna and the rest of the crew she got over her fear. I would definitely recommend for anyone!

Took 5 teenagers along for an experience of a lifetime. Capt Tim, Gaylen, James, Tim & more crew names I can’t remember were all very professional & efficient getting us in & out of water to see dolphins (3) times! I literally was close enough to make eye contact with a dolphin which is a special & most unforgettable moment that I will forever cherish. Thank you to all who made our trip so very worth while.

The crew was extremely helpful. The dolphin watching portion of the tour was amazing — lucked out in seeing so many dolphins. The snorkeling portion was a bit tough for me because I’m not a great swimmer. However, Ziyah was especially helpful in making sure I was OK and helping pulling me back to the safety board when the currents got too strong for me. So thank you Ziyah!
