Departure Transfer: Airport Shuttle Honolulu And Waikiki Or Cruise Terminal

Driver picked us up early when we asked If not we would have had to wait another hours. The airport was a better place to wait.

I booked a transfer back and forth from the airport. The driver was on time, he called me to let me know he’s on his way and ETA.

We needed to change our departure time and messaged the provider 10 hours prior but received no response. We called 90 min before our scheduled time to verify and she said sorry and hung up. Called Uber and was $10 cheaper and on time.

Such an easy experience. They pick up about 3 hours before your departure. You can call them directly to confirm time and place.

Our shuttle was booked for 5am at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Waikiki. It didn’t arrive. We had to take a taxi to the airport and were very concerned that we would miss our flight. So, not happy.

This was my worst experience with VIP travel. I told the dispatcher that I was at the Waikiki Marina, 1700 Ala Moana Blvd. The dispatcher acted like an angry nut case. He said I was at the Ilikai Hotel where I was dropped off. I told him I was dropped off at the Waikiki Marina. The dispatcher said I was an ignorant tourist, while he has lived in Hawaii 50 years and has been in the business for 20 years, and I don't know what I am talking about. He hung up on me then called me back and said I have to wait in front of the closed Red Lobster across the street from my hotel or I wouldn't get picked up. While waiting at the closed Red Lobster I saw a VIP shuttle pass by me headed to the Ilikai Hotel. I waited 20 minutes, just in case that was not my van then I called VIP and a different dispatcher said I was a no show for my pick-up at the Ilikai then hung up. The actual driver of the van called me to say I missed my pick-up, but he was the first person to listen to me and he drove to Red Lobster and picked me up. As I was getting in the van the driver called the dispatcher and said he can't do his next pick-ups because he is taking me to the airport. This was a shocking first for me with VIP. They were always so dependable. Well at least the drivers have always been good with me. I will use VIP again because until this experience they were always so dependable. I feel like a coach watching my running back fumble the ball at the 1 yard line as time expires.

The driver was very friendly. He managed to get us to the airport on time even though we had to pick up three other couples.

They are always spot on time always use vip reccomend using they are a very good sevice and reasonable in price

There was confusion regarding where we were supposed to be picked up although we provided the address.

The transfer from the Honolulu cruise pier to the airport was truly an extra effort. When I called for pick up after disembarkation, the VIP pickup was there within 15 minutes. Even though other travelers may have also signed up for the transfer, I was immediately and alone taken to the airport. Superior service by both the dispatcher and driver. Thank you!

Shuttle bus was super clean, driver was safe. Only recommendation was include pickup time and specific location. Hilton Hawaiian Village has multiple drop off and pick up locations within the property. This would eliminate the need for multiple calls.

#1, wouldn't book through tripadvisor again because the information like pick up time, flight info, etc is not communicated no matter how many times I filled out the form. The VIP dispatcher was rude when I was calling to figure out where they were going to pick us up. # 2 because of that, I called and confirmed everything with the company for the trip back 2 days prior; pick up time was 11 but they never came. 2 shuttles passed us and said they weren't there for us and by 11:36 w enough calling they finally got us a ride to the airport. No apologies given

Booked a hotel-to-airport transfer from Waikiki to Honolulu through VIP via Viator and it was one of the best rides I’ve had. The driver was incredibly knowledgeable about the island, friendly, and easy to talk to. We had a great conversation the whole way, and he shared so much interesting information along the drive. Smooth, comfortable, and honestly made the trip to the airport enjoyable rather than a chore. Highly recommend.

At first another driver supposed to pick me out but he never showed up. There was another driver dropping some other customers and I asked him for help and he was helpful and professional at all the time and took me to the airport without any problems.
