Deluxe Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial, And Visitor Center Tour

An experience of so many different emotions……appreciation, to say the least. Reverence and respect for such a sacred site.

We had Roland for our tour guide and he was a delight. Funny, informative, and a delightful tour guide. He showed genuine respect for the veteran in our group, which was nice. I highly recommend this tour!!

Very informative experience. Trip to the memorial is solemn and moving. Do not skip the movie in the left lane - get to the line 45 min before your boarding so you have time to see it.

THE communication between the transportation provider is slim to none. the individual who thought of himself as a dispatcher has little regard for the client as witness the two conversations i had with him. The first conversation had to do with will i be picked up at my hotel which was not in their listing of hotels the picked up at. I also emailed them 3 times and didn’t get a response by that method either.

Communication from vendor was not overly clear. Times changed and if I had not inquired would not have known timing. Van was packed with 11 large adults and cooling system was not functioning well. Driver was friendly but just seemed to chat excessively about non relevant issues, I.e. garbage can location for houses. Drive around Honolulu was not enjoyable due to cramping in van and heat Time at Pearl Harbor was great, crowds there were minimal.

Tour was unorganized and it was the first day for the driver. He didn’t even know how to operate the air conditioner in the van. We never did see the movie about Pearl Harbor, because we didn’t know where to go.

Not allowed a bag makes it more challenging. Would have liked a couple more actual stops at Punchbowl for pictures and at the Palace.

Very good excursion. Tour guide was both pleasant and informative with a great sense of humor. Greatly enjoyed Pearl Harbor and the narrative tour of Honolulu.

The is a great tour. Easy pick up and drop off. Driver was professional and very concerned about his passengers comfort and safety. Pearl Harbor and Arizona memorial is a must when in Hawaii.

Viator provides a great service; the transportation is very comfortable and convenient. The driver was a lot of fun and informative. If it’s hot out there is very little shade or room indoors to get relief from the heat at the park. We ended up independently leaving early because of the heat.

It's a very humbling experience. There's so much about those events that they don't teach you about exactly how horrible it was.

Was for my husbands birthday booked it for a pick up at 7:30 they texted me the day before saying they wouldn’t pick us up until 8:30 which meant we sat at the airport for 1.5 hrs waiting n then called asking where we were when we were at the correct location but the guy said they was supposed to be at terminal 4 which based off the text they sent the night before was incorrect overall wasn’t a very good experience

An amazing experience at Pearl Harbour with ample time to explore and partake in all museums and activities. Our Tour guide "Roland" was very informative and a pleasure to deal with.

David our driver was great. Courteous, gave us good tips about touring the Memorial. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii

We got picked up from our hotel and dropped off at our hotel when it was over. Not having to drive was a big selling point for me. Our USS AZ tour was at 9:30 am HST. Roland was our driver/tour guide he was excellent. We were given a free bottle of cold water and a granola bar when we went in by him and a cold drink when we got back on the van. My drink was a grapefruit flavored canned drink and it was cold and great. Our tour started at Pearl Harbor and after our USS AZ memorial we had plenty of time to go through the gift shop. Roland then took us all around the major sites in Honolulu. I felt the tour was excellent and well worth the $. It was about 4.5 hours long and was a perfect way to see Oahu in the limited amount of time we had which was a 3 day 2 night stay. I would highly recommend this tour.

Very touching and humbling experience. This is not just some tourist location to visit, but a place to pay your respect and gratitude to those who gave their life for our freedom.

Dave was the best! He was the kindest and funniest tour guide we’ve ever had! His deep understanding of Pearl Harbor and the city shows how much pride and love he has for O’ahu. We can’t wait to return!

Do only in the morning to give yourself time there. Our driver Dave was fabulous BUT the time i had on my booking was 9.30am but got an email when we were out of service that pick up would be 7.30. After missing the pick up & calling the person on the end of the phone was rude & unapologetic. Next time I will book with the hotel & not Viator!! Again our driver Dave was helpful & informative - 5 stars for him.

Vanessa was knowledgeable and entertaining as our tour guide! She was prompt with our pickups and had drinks and a small snack!

I did not go. I think it was handled poorly. We should have received a phone call. Who checks email on a vacation ? I had verified the trip the day before and it was confirmed.

This was a great experience with on-time pickup and return. Our driver, Vanessa, was personable, friendly and informative. I learned a lot during our tour and she answered any questions that came up during the drive. It was the perfect amount of time to spend at Pearl Harbor with lot of reflection and sobering moments, especially during the visor to the USS Arizona Memorial. I would highly recommend.

Overall, I am really disappointed in the “tour”. I expected the whole experience to be lead by a tour guide who gives us information and faces about what we are seeing. The tour guide was basically just a driver who dropped us off at Pearl Harbor for a few hours and left while we were on the tour. The experience was also an hour too long so we ended up leaving and ubering ourselves back to the hotel. The other people on the tour felt the same way and some made their own way back as well. We looked for the tour guide to see if we could discuss hearing back early but he was no where to be found.

The tour was wonderful.. Our tour guide DAVID was excellent!!! Found the Arizona wall of names of the men who died entombed very sad.

Guide was very informative and conversational throughout the trip. Unfortunately, our return trip from Pearl Harbor to our hotel unexpectedly became a guided tour through Honolulu that took 90 minutes more than what was scheduled / indicated on the listing. Given we had scheduled this as a half-day event and had planned to have lunch following this excursion, we were not prepared to take a significantly longer amount of time to return to our hotel than we had scheduled.

We had a great time on this trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and super friendly. It was great having a set schedule while at pearl harbor. We do wish there was about a hour more time after the movie so we could read and explore more :).

We are in Waikīkī beach and we were told they could not pick up from Hale Koa, we had to be picked up near by. This is not correct, they can pick up at the Hale Koa military resort.

The somber atmosphere and respect felt adds to the historic nature of the visit. Actually being IN the memorial is tightly regulated and a far shorter period of time than expected, but still emotional. Interesting to me was the number of Japanese visitors, making you realize that their nation lost men there as well, and the Pearl Harbor attack lead to the demolition of Japanese cities.

This was a great tour, informative and from pick up to drop off very effort was made to accommodate the group.

This tour was on our bucket list and we were not disappointed. Our driver was very knowledgeable of the Honolulu area and told us the history of it. Being Pearl Harbor is a National Park we were basically on our own when we arrived. The driver told us what we should see and the ins and outs to make it easier. On the way back to the hotel the driver showed us many of the sites in Honolulu but it was difficult to hear him as he was soft spoken and the van’s sound system was not the best.

It's an excellent look back in history at a day that should never be forgotten. The memorial is a must see and is an emotional experience when you empathize with the should lost in that place. The tour guide, David MacArthur is excellent. If you can request him, do so.

We had a great time on our tour with Vanessa, she was full of enthusiasm and great information. We enjoyed the Pearl Harbor tour, very thought provoking.

Pearl harbor USS Arizona was great, well worth it, but we felt the tour organizers Viator, could have sent their pick up time for us, sooner than 6pm the night before. Otherwise we really enjoyed the experience.

Things move quickly yet well worth the tour. It's hot, dress appropriately and be prepared for a crowd

Venessa met us at our hotel and after picking up 3 more couples drove us to the harbor providing valuable information about the bombing of Pearl Harbour and other locations. She dropped us and gave instructions on sites available along with the process. As a Navy veteran I was there to salute fallen sailors. We also visited the submarine memorial. The entire park was very nice. Later Venessa picked us up and drove us to several other highlights then returned us to our hotels. The tour included drinks and snacks from the van.

We stated a pick up at Circle Hotel and only found out the correct pickup by chance. Reservation said arrive 9:30 and we arrived a bit early only to be picked up at 10:15. You know traffic is bad leave earlier!!!!!

We really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide Raymond was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a good recommendation.

Vanessa was a delight. She was entertaining, enthusiastic and very informative. We were given enough time and information to make our visit efficient. Our drive around to different sights was filled with facts, fun and care.

1. We were picked up at our hotel 1/2 later than expected. We were asked to be ready to go in the lobby by 9:30 AM, and that the driver would be there between 9:30 and 10 AM. It was closer to 10:30 AM when he arrived. It was very boring to sit and wait. We did not learn until later that we must have been with the wrong tour group. We signed up for the "Deluxe Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial, and Visitor Center Tour", but I think we were picked up by the bus leading the " Deluxe Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial and Honolulu City Tour". I believe because of the mix-up, our actual time at Pearl Harbor was much less than we expected. 2. We didn't realize that we might be with the wrong group until after we finished the day at Pearl Harbor. We thought we were headed back to our hotel from Pearl Harbor, but the bus toured around for at least an additional hour, to sites in Honolulu we were not expecting to see. At that point we were just wanting to get back to our hotel. 3. The driver was very friendly, but I don't think he realized his microphone was not always working. I felt as though he was just chatting with the guest in the front passenger seat, not sharing information with everyone on the bus. Because of that, we felt we missed much of the information that might have still made the incorrect tour an enjoyable one. 4. By booking in this manner through Viator, we do not know the name of the tour company. I hope Viator will share this information with them, so that they can try to prevent this from happening, and so that other travelers in the future will not have the same difficulties we had. I certainly feel we did not get the complete experience for the money spent. We might be more grateful for the extra sites we did see, except for negatives - the late arrival of the bus, the 1/2 hr lost waiting for the late bus, the seemingly abbreviated time at Pearl Harbor, and the much longer than expected ride back to the hotel. Any chance of getting some or all of our money back?

Our guide was adequate. She did. Not seem very interested in the job. She was not rude, she just seemed to not enjoy her work. The vehicle was packed. The guide picked up the wrong ticket packet for our shuttle to the Arizona memorial, which wasted precious time.

The tour guide was soft spoken but full of knowledge. He was very accommodating with pick up and drop off. We had directions given to us while walking to the pick up location to make sure we were in the right place. He gave a drive to China town, State Capitol, and other places after the pearl harbor tour. We enjoyed snacks, juice and water.

A good tour of not only Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial, and Blowfin submarine, but also a good tour of Honolulu historic sites and vistas.

Our guide was horrible!! Mumbled as he talked Was not customer oriented, very rude. I would not recommend this tour company

It was raining cats and dogs but despite of that, David was still able to give us a tour and we appreciate him much for doing so
