You need a lot of time to see everything. Was a great experience. Another tick off the old bucket list.

No bags of any kind, brand, size, color, or for any reason are allowed to enter the Pearl Harbor visitor center. Please absolutely bring no bags with you. Bags may not be left inside our tour vehicle. If you have a bag, you will need to check them into the visitor center bag storage. This costs money, and you may have to wait in a long line to check in your bags. You may lose a portion of your tour, or your Arizona boat ticket may expire. Please do not bring any bag of any size, color, or brand with you for any purpose. (Clear see-through bags are permitted). We do not carry nor do we have space for luggage of any kind. This is beyond our control, and we follow the federal agency's rules. Tours are non-refundable if the national park service or navy decide to cancel boat ride programs due to mechanical issues, dangerous weather, or other safety concerns. If your pickup location is the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, after Pearl Harbor, you will be returned directly to the airport, and the others will continue on to go on a drive through of downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, as the airport is miles before these locations
Itinerary
No trip to Oahu Island would be complete without a visit to the Pearl Harbor, the most visited tourist attraction in Hawaii. Unlike bus tours with groups of 50-60 people, this is a small group tour of only eleven people in a well-appointed, new model van that takes you directly to Pearl Harbor. We have reserved Arizona Memorial Ticket for you and it is included for you in this tour (please read our disclaimer about the USS Arizona Memorial ticket). Therefore, you do not need to worry about an Arizona Memorial ticket; because of this, you do not need to go early in the morning (5:30 am) and wait in line behind thousands of other people to see if you can get a ticket for the Arizona Memorial.
This tour will take you to Battleship Missouri ( your admission is included ). “Mighty MO”, the Iowa-class Battleship Missouri, a decorated ship that was the scene of the final Japanese surrender at the end of WWII. Board the battleship and take the 30-minute guided deck tour and see the instruments of surrender signed by the Japanese, signifying the end of the war. On the way back to Waikiki, you will be taken on a short drive-through tour of Historical Downtown Honolulu. You get to see the famous golden statue of Hawaii’s legendary monarch, King Kamehameha the Great. View the famous Iolani Palace, the only Royal Palace on American soil. See Washington Place, the historic home of Hawaii’s Governors. View the unique architecture of the Hawaii State Capitol building. We will also take you on a drive-through of Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery, the final resting place of many U.S. service members from WWI to the present.

Very disappointing! Nothing 'Deluxe' about it! The driver's narrated trip to Pearl Harbor and the Memorial was an uninspired, unrelated jumble of facts - often mentioning a building or other point of interest without making it clear what feature he was referring to (Which building was that? Which tree? Oops, now we are long past it...). When we arrived at the Memorial we hoped to receive a general overview of the site, it's significance, what to expect at the different museums, and how to plan your time there. Instead, our guide passed out our tickets, pointed to where the lines for the Arizona Memorial and USS Memorial were, and told us to be back by 3:30 pm. We had to find a NPS Ranger to give us an orientation to the site. In the end, there was not enough time to go through anything more than the Arizona and USS Missouri. We weren't able to visit the Airplane or other museums. Finally, the trip back through town... We were in the back seat. The noise from the ac/fan was so loud we couldn't hear or understand what the driver was saying. We spent the next hour and a half in stop-and-go, rush hour traffic without learning anything about the city. What was 'Deluxe' about this tour? Was it the tiny granola bar and dripping wet bottle of water or can of juice? I'd recommend taking an Uber or bus to the Memorial and spending the time you need enjoying the site. Paying for the 'tour' added no extra value.
We ride with Lena from Sunrise Tours. She was very knowledgeable about the locations of events all through Oahu. She knew what a lot of the Hawaiian words meant in English and she translated for us She did a lot of stops along the way so we could learn the culture of Hawaii such as a fruit stand that has the star fruit, andHulu, red plant. She presented a non-tourist view of Hawaii. We really appreciate it. She took us to the beach and we had pictures ofus wearing a long lei. The food was great. She organized a place for us to pick up some great tasting chicken. Her interest and dedication and knowledge never waiver she never got tired of talking to us. Had a lot of love and compassion in her body. It really was a remarkable tour up to the Polynesian culturecenter, and the dope pineapple plantation and the Arizona memorial. We can’t wait to go back next year.
We enjoyed the experience of visiting the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri. However we could not enter the Missouri initially because the barcode on our vouchers were not valid. I had to call Trip Advisor to have the voucher resent. Everything else was fine.
Wish I had more time to take in the other museums. Next time I'll plan for two days at this site.
It was a good way to get there without driving and enjoyed my time and tour of the city but if you wish to have more time you should go yourself, this was perfect for us.
Our guide who picked us up at the hotel DID NOT provide clear instructions re: which exhibit to go to first and what part was a timed reservation. Although he repeated himself often-all he did was confuse our crowd. Most of what he said what have been easier for the group to understand on a printout. The buses did not come back to pick us up on time after the first boat viewing. Also, considering all this tour offers, pickup time should be earlier. The historical aspects of this tour are excellent. The planning for this tour - timing, tour guide and food available for lunch all need to be reviewed and improved.
Great tour and Mr. Chang did a good job and was very informative.
This expursion was a disaster from the beginning. We received a text message the day before telling us to meet the bus outside at 8am an hour later, we received another message that told us to meet the bus outside at 8:45am. The bus was never described and the bus number was never provided. We called the company three times the morning of the excursion and were given three different answers. We were supposed to have a total of 5 hours at Pearl Harbor. 2 and a 1/2 hours at the Arizona memorial and 2 and a 1/2 hours at the Missouri. That part was excellent. The last two hours of this seven hour excursion was supposed to be sightseeing through Honolulu. Our driver, Will drove us five minutes from pier 2 stopped for twenty minutes and said, go take some pictures. Then we were back on the bus heading to the punch bowl. He took 4 minutes to drive through the Punch Bowl and then we headed to Pearl Harbor. The shore excursion description told us we were going to have two hours of sightseeing through Honolulu and downtown beach areas. This is what the description said on the Viator site: Honolulu Short drive through Honolulu City Tour viewing: Historical Downtown Honolulu lolani palace Hawaii State Capito Golden statue of King Kamehameha the Great Washington Place Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery and drivina to Waikiki 2 hours We never did this (listed above). Will dropped us off at Pearl Harbor at 10:30am and picked us up at 4:30pm. We had 6 hours at Pearl Harbor and 20 minutes running around an area taking random pictures of nothing really. We never got our two hours of Honolulu sightseeing. I really don't recommend this tour guide and I don't really recommend this tour as I didn't receive what I paid for. Pearl Harbor is beautiful and a huge part of history. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pearl Harbor, however the driver Will, and the rest of the excursion (that never happened) fell way short.
This was billed as a deluxe tour, we experienced no such thing, there was a distinct lack of anything deluxe about the tour. We were only given a bottle of water and one chew bar. There was confusion about any bags you could take. In the information it stated that you could not take bags. Yet in a WhatsApp message from HLTC, it stated you could take a bag provided it was not bigger than 5.5 x 2.5 x 1.5. So, I took a small bag to be told when we met our driver that you cannot take bags in with you, which meant I had to squeeze my bum bag into my pocket all throughout the visit, which was very unpleasant. The driver was chaotic, the information he provided was confusing and contradictory. He stated he would get us there in time to see the movie before our visit to the memorial, which he said was very important. It was important to see the movie first, however he was so slow and messed about so much that we ran out of time to see the movie before the memorial, which was really disappointing. Plus, all the driver kept saying was how frazzled he was and then on the way back was moaning about how stressed he was; it’s not what you want to hear. He didn’t put his head set on so the people in the rear of the bus could not hear him. Then, when they told him they could not hear him, he put his head set on without any sound; it was calamitous. We actually enjoyed our visit and paying our respects to those who had fallen, which is no thanks to the driver or HLTC. We required far more information about what to expect inside the park; for example access to food and where it could be purchased. Overall, very poor value for money.
Dave, our driver and guide, was great. Very informative and personable. A lot of information about Oahu was presented. However, I had issues with that”dispatch” parties. Our Jitney was late. The jitney driver ahead of ours didn’t know about our pickup. We called and the person who answered was short and sounded annoyed we called. Not helpful That is the reason for my rating. And no I will not use this company again
Great trip! So much to see and do, there was not enough time in the day to fit it all in. Our driver/guide David was fun and knowledgeable about the site and made great suggestions as to what to do to make the most of the experience. The Arizona memorial was beautiful and despite the many visitors, was still a place of reverence and respect. The Missouri was fascinating, too. Wish I had all day to go through it. Want to go back to see the Aviation Museum, too.
Being able to do this all in one tour was nice, just the right amount of time. Dave was informative on how to get in and around Pearl Harbor. The Honolulu part was interesting to learn the Hawaiian history.
Pick this one! Multiple people there didn’t realize the battleship wasn’t with Arizona tours and missed it but it was worth the time/cost if you’re able to fit both in! Well organized & a good amount of time to see both. A very somber day but so glad we did it.
Disappointed with the guide on this tour. Instructions were a little difficult to follow. Wasn't well organised. No microphone in vehicle for half the tour so couldn't hear him. Additionally ran out of paper tickets to enter the memorial. We also did NOT receive a text with our tickets for the Missouri. Suggestion - You should issue all tickets prior to the day of travel. Very disappointed with Trip Advisor & Viator on this occassion.
Our driver was very talkative. He needed to use his microphone better because everyone couldn't hear him on the bus. We sat directly behind him and on occasion couldn't understand him. He spoke a little too much about his personal life. Very informative about different places that locals love. After he picked us up from the Missouri, he drove us through the National Cemetery. Glad we did that.
Pearl Harbor experience was very moving touching and something we will never forget! A must see when visiting Honolulu! And unforgettable history and sombering story of the fallen! Price well worth the many museums videos and historical pieces of History!! Taking a shuttle was not worth it, close to hotels and plenty of parking. David was very informative but yet very controlling in a way that still made us late after getting in the gate. He did provide refreshments and made sure everybody was safely aboard however he could have been more considerate after picking us up knowing that everyone was in the hot sun all day and wanted to just get back to the hotel for dinners. Instead he took us on a tour through downtown Honolulu which took another hour!? Would have been great had we not been out in the hot sun on our feet all day out exploring Pearl Harbor he should have been more considerate asking if we would mind a quick tour or picked us up earlier to provide. Felt forced to join his own journey. We are on vacation drivers should not be sharing financial personal issues as a way to gain more tips we felt by him repeating himself to and from Pearl Harbor. He did try to make it right by dropping us off at a requested dinner spot by a group of us! We also could not hear him very well while he spoke it was mumbled a bit. As we did appreciate the site tour that late in day it was too much and too long. Aside from that
Dave was very knowledgeable, not only about Pearl Harbour, but also Hawaii. Very punctual with pick-up and drop-off. No issues whatsoever, and the tour around Honolulu sights finished off a great day.
Excellent and helpful guide. Plenty of time to see Arizona memorial and Missouri battle ship. Wish more food vendors available at memorial. Only stressful thing was waiting for the driver to pick us up closer to 10 rather than 9:30. Also traffic is heavy and drop off was closer to 5:15 rather than 4:30.
Good information during the drive. Good information on Hawaii history. Disappointed in not being able to get to Arizona memorial. Not enough time to get to aviation museum.
Our driver Roland was great. Texted to let us know he was on his way. Had some local knowledge that he shared during the ride to and from our hotel. Tour was as expected and promised. We did have some confusion about our pickup time at the Memorial, but that probably was our misunderstanding.
The Arizona and Battleship were amazing and humbling. Our travel quide was not the best. He kept talking and made us miss the films we were to watch before the boat trip.
Everything was explicit, clean and flowy . Everyone from the pick up time ( Vanessa was our concierge guide) to tour guides on the USS. Missouri were very friendly , helpful and knowledgeable
It was easy to book. The driver was very knowledgeable. She had tickets to the Arizona ready for us so we didn’t need to wait in line for them. It was a wonderful experience. We would definitely book this excursion again.
The tour would have been significantly better if we had a different tour guide. Mr McArthur was more concerned about telling us of his troubles with the security at Pearl Harbor than he was about giving distinct directions. When we tried to ask questions, he rushed through the explanation stating he needed to get off the base. Because of this, our family and another couple missed our appointment time for the Arizona and, luckily, were able to get a standby slot. I found his rambling to be very distracting. His enthusiasm was less than ideal.
We decided to do this ‘tour’ for its convenience and guaranteed ticketing at the USS Arizona Memorial. Our driver had mechanical difficulties so was late picking us up, and the other group with us forgot something in their room so that took extra time too. These two things led us to miss the introductory movies before our designated boat time of 11:45 (hotel pickup was autopsied to be between 9:30-10:00 but was around 10: 10 and we were the first of 2 stops). As other reviews have said, it’s not really a tour. The driver does go over some facts about the island and local area on the way but then once you arrive at the Visitor’s Center, he’s limited to what he’s allowed to do. He basically explained how to get where and made sure we had our tickets, then we agreed on a 4:00 pickup time. You basically only have time for the Arizona and the Missouri and nothing else that’s around, plus they all cost extra money ($30 per adult for each additional attraction). Despite contradicting information, you can bring either a small wallet or any size clear bag on the Arizona. The one hour tour afterwards during the ride back to the hotels was not great. Some local landmarks but our driver David was very repetitive and if you were in the back of the van, you could barely hear anything but static over the van and AC noises.
Everything was arranged for our Pearl Harbor and USS Missouri trip. It was everything we’d hope it would be. The trip to downtown Honolulu was great too. We got to see several sites and learn about the history.
We did the combination Arizona Memorial/USS Missouri tour. Everything went very smoothly and our guide (for the bus ride), Roland, was knowledgeable and fun. The only real challenge was that there's so much to see and only so much time to do it. Still, both the Memorial and the Missouri are well worth the trip if you have any interest in our history.
It was very interesting and full f things I didn’t know. We had the best driver I. Dave who was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Just made for the best day.
Great tour - we were super happy we booked with this company. Our driver Dave was terrific too. We would recommend this tour for a friend or family member.
Vanessa, our tour guide was full of energy, kept it interesting with lots of fun facts presented in an interesting way. Bus transportation was very clean. Was surprised and glad we had a tour of Honolulu before returning to the hotel. Much history in this city.
So emotional, awesome tour. Can’t come to Hawaii without doing the tour
We had a terrible experience with violator! No one was present to facilitate our entry to the memorial, after a confusing discussion with the park rangers, it was revealed that third-party operators are not allowed on site. It be that the entry to the event were free., so I don’t know what violator thought they were providing anyway. What a waste of time and money.
Tour guide Vanessa was great! Would recommend this tour to others wanting to visit Pearl Harbour. Guide was prompt and the bus was modern.
Great experience. The driver was great and on time at the pickup spots. It was good for the price. Would do it again.
Very nice trip. They gave you lots of information-only thing is that once you got to the memorial, you only could stay 10 mins- could've use 10 more. Would recommend
It’s emotional and very informative The movie was good and the layout is very helpful- a very nice visit
Doing this tour is a must. Our driver Vanessa had given a little more in depth history and facts about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Also seeing the USS Missouri was amazing. Brought back a lot of memories from being on ship as a Marine
Totally an emotional experience , a must see for anyone visiting Pearl harbor, very well organised from start to finish , you go over to the Arizona's resting place within a time slot , you have adequate time there before being taken back on the boat.
Well organised. Very interesting. Guide provided good information. On time and provided water and snacks.
Mike was great. He helped us out kept us hydrated and with snacks and gave us great commentary all along the journey
Vanessa, our guide, was extremely informative. Explained different aspects of what we were going to see. Also the tour around the city, taking in other sights, was great. The visit to pearl harbor itself, was very moving. Until you're there, you don't quite understand the immense effect this had.
Did not have enough time. Picked up at 9:30 after many other pickups didn't get there until 11:30. Missed movies, made memorial, spent 15 minutes on the Mossouri - not enough time for tour and absolutely no time for the aircraft museum. Very disappointing.
The guide was great and van was comfortable. Overall the tour was great but I have a couple recommendations. You will only have time to see the Arizona and the Missouri. If there’s a tour that also includes the Aviation Museum and the submarine I would recommend that tour instead. We didn’t get to them and wish we had. Also, don’t take the guided tour of the Missouri. It’s too slow. Lots of great info, yes, but you can get all of that on the internet. We had to hurry through the below deck exhibit due to time limitation.
A great and painless way to visit the Arizona and Missori. Pearl Harbour is a must see place and we were incredibly moved by the visit I only gave a 4 star review as this isn’t a tour. It’s more a transfer service with a quick spin round Honolulu on the way back. They drop you at Pearl Harbour, explain timings and then you self navigate. I didn’t find their pre departure comms very timely. You will get a text the evening before but they don’t reply to other messages before It’s therefore not a cheap tour but worth it if you want ticket certainty
Pearl Harbor has more to do than we had time to do in the allotted time, but given the sun etc. we would have welted another hour mostly outside. Our guide was informative and fun. A full van is tight, but the new vans they are getting should solve that issue. Well worth it!
Driver arrived later than expected. Due to being behind on time there was notenough time to tour the welcome center and the 2 museums at the center. While doing the city tour we didn’t get history of the city nor the locations we were passing. Instead we were told the life story of our tour guide
There are several shows, measums and places to visit, make time for all of them. It's heartbreaking to encounter but well worth your time.
What an amazing experience from Hawaii Luxury Tour Concierge and Limousines LLC. Our driver, Roland, picked everybody up DIRECTLY from their hotel and on time! The trip to Pearl Harbor was an experience I will never forget. On the way back, our driver gave us a wonderful tour of parts of the island and stopped to let us take photos. Truly, a first class company and I highly recommend using them for their services. Mahalo!
Every American should visit this park….Never forget the sacrifices made….Battleship Arizona is a somber memorial. Missouri is a tribute to our military might.
