Originally booked the movie tour. Agreed to the canyon tour when one the drivers called in sick. We had a good time but would have preferred our original tour.
This trip was great to see beautiful Pacific Canyon and Kauai island coming from Oahu. Sabrina was a great guide. She helped me to enjoy and participate in all activities during the trip and helped me to manage and recover from a knee injury that happened the day before the trip. She has a great and compassioned hart. I would like to thank her again for her support.
John and Celeste made our day a great adventure. We saw so many great sights and had plenty of time to just explore. Great way to see the island!!
John and Celeste were fantastic. Very knowledgeable, extremely thoughtful, friendly and kind. Worth every penny.
Outstanding John was great he kept the whole tour cone alo
John and Moana were fantastic. Tour was a great way to see the island!
Uncle John was the best tour guide! He was so friendly and funny. He had amazing facts and information about the island. He was the most personable tour guide I’ve ever had and made it feel very welcoming and home like.
We saw so many sites on the island. This time of year was great to see everything so lush.
enjoyable and a great day of adventure
Great on time, informative, knows routes well
Our driver John was delightful. In addition to the beautiful scenery, he was a wealth of information. Made sure to take care of us at all the stops. Loved his sense of humor!
John was GREAT funny and hilarious!!!! Loved himmmm gave great spots and took me alone to give me a chance to see it! Get him back on the road for another he deserves a raise!! LOL . The trip was just long enough!! Not too long and tiring but still full of adventure! He had many Hawaiian legends and stories and I loved it ! I would totally come back and he’s such a fun tour guide I recommend! WOOHOO uncle John!!🤩🤩 fun and hang loose atmosphere and he’s so thoughtful giving water!!🥹
Papa John was awesome! highly recommended
Great trip. Beautiful. Guide knew great spots for photo ops
The driver was knowledgeable, funny and experienced. I enjoyed the trip
Polynesian Adventures agency arranges everything, all one has to do is arrive at the airport. The flight is about 15 minutes. Visited theSwing Bridge at the quaint town of Hanapepe with it's murals of the movie Moana. From here we visited the Waimea Canyon State Park aka the Grand Canyon of the Pacific., and it's Pu'uhinahina Lookout. Drop dead gorgeous. Lush green vegetation amongst red soil mountains, valleys and waterfall. It reminded me of Christmas colours. Way more brilliant bold colors than the Grand Canyon. Handicap accessible. Ate at Koke Lodge restaurant and gift shop. Mostly sandwiches, cornbread and chili. Staff was excellent and accommodated handicap me. Visited the Kauai Coffee Company sampling shop, little museum, coffee bean farm and garden hike. However the front entrance is not wheelchair accessible but there is a side ramp. Be surprised by the cowboys on the cattle ranches and all the agriculture fields growing everything imaginable.
It was a long day but we'll worth it to see the island, particularly the canyon. So beautiful! Sabrina was an awesome guide.
Our original tour was cancelled so we were upgraded to a full day tour around the island of Oahu. This was an excellent tour and our tour guide (Garfield) was awesome. He was extremely helpful and full of knowledge of Oahu. We had a great day and can recommend the pineapple icecream. We highly recommend this tour.
Tour bus did not show up. Apparently cancelled at last minute, even though we had confirmed 24+ hours prior.
We never got to go on the tour. We booked through Viator who were great and would certainly use them again. However, Polynesian Adventure Tours could do a lot to improve their business operations and ensure customers have a positive experience. I provided the following feedback and the response I received demonstrated that they could care less. So I figured I will post here so other folks are aware and hoping that tour companies will take this feedback seriously and consider customer experience. I was told to wait at the Hilton islander for the tour bus. I followed the signs and waited where all other tour buses were stopping. 5 minutes passes from my pick up time so I called customer service. It took several minutes before someone answered. I asked them where I should wait and they were not sure. By then they advised that the bus already left and we lost our fee since no other tour was available during our visit in Hawaii. I feel the business should walk through the pick up points to understand what the customer would see and check if the instructions are clear. They could have also offered us to meet up and catch up with the bus. The customer service representative could have been more knowledgeable on where we should wait. They had 2 phone numbers on file and could have called any of them to get us on the tour. A little effort by the business could've made the experience much better.

I booked this tour because it was reasonably priced and a way to get away from the resort for an afternoon. My expectations were not really very high, but everyone in my party was greatly surprised and delighted with this tour. There were ample opportunities to get out and take photos and the best part of the afternoon was the narration of our guide Uncle Ernie. He knows everything about everyone and everything associated with Hawaii, it seems, and the jokes and playful banter between him and the group had everyone literally rolling on the floor of the minibus. He gave me a great tip about pre-ordering my Prime Rib at Duke's Waikiki when we made our dinner reservations because they run out. We could have driven around a parking lot for 4 hours and it would have still been great as long as Uncle Ernie was narrating. Throw in the sites and knowledge and this tour was a real treat.

This was a lovely tour in a big, comfortable bus that gave us plenty of picture-perfect photo opportunities. The narration was clear and quite informative. Happy tourist.

it was raining all day on this tour.. luckily we had another one --the Oahu Grand Circle Island tour-- which ended up being a gorgeous day and a much better guide.

The Diamond Head and Oahu Coast half-day Tour was cancelled due to lack of participantsBut, they generously gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Full day around the island tour...it was fantastic. Our driver Garfield was very informative and humorous. I would highly recommended this tour.

This tour was good, the guide was informative and friendly.
Top of Diamond head was a bit windy but the views are spectacular..

Tour was great. I recommend it. Driver was awesome! Extremely knowledgeable about lots of historical facts and Hawaiian trivia.

Tour advertised Diamond Head. We went by it on a coast road and that was about it. Never up on top nor where a photo op would begin to encompass the size and view. Driver was nice but mediocre tour with a few 2-5 min stops...

A good tour but our tour guide was terrible! He would ramble on about something you could not understand and then would repeat everything he said twice. After only about 15 minutes, everyone just stopped listening to him. And the last stop was at a small gift shop? Really, a small gift shop? Tour was not up to the standards that I have grown to expect from a Viator tour.

Fantastic tour. Bus turned up on time and was welcomed by our driver Ernie. The milkman He was was brilliant, funny and informative, we were lucky in that it was only a small party so seemed to have plenty of time at the various stops, would recommend this to anyone visiting the island.

Tours like this that include a significantly long rest/comfort stop at a souvenir shop leave me cold and dis-satisfied. There are ample souvenir shops for visiting in free time in Honolulu without incorporating one ito a tour supposedly designed to show scenic highlights of Oahu.

To short for the price. We made only 3stop. It is a 2 1/2hres hours tour. The bus took me at 13:50.

Great tour guide Robbie. Knowledgeable and friendly. Good smaller size group meant we had some time to see and walk around.

This half day tour takes you around all the key landmarks of South East Oahu including a Diamond Head Lookout, Hanauma Bay Nature Reserve, Halona Blowhole, Sandy Beach, Waimanalo stop at Dave's for the best shaved ice and ice creams, Nuanu Pali lookout and the Dole Pineapple Plantation. These areas of Oahu are amazingly beautiful and well worth a visit.

A great trip and plenty to see. The length of the trip was perfect. Plenty of time of picture taking and enjoying the sights. The driver was very informative and he went out of his way to explain the history of Hawaii.

We enjoyed seeing the highlights of the island. Our tour guide was very good and gave us enough time to take photos and enjoy each stop. We liked the fact that it was a half-day tour, so we could do other things that morning in town.

Great trip to see south shore of Oahu. Driver very informative of area and gave us good time for stops and photo opportunities. Stop near Waimanalo beach for ice cream stop too. If you don't want to spend all day on a bus on a full circle tour this is a good one to do. I took tour on a Friday afternoon so there was quite a bit of traffic to get us back to our drop off points - you just need to be patient as it is not the tours fault.

The guide was informative and even helped us around the island taking pictures.
Highly recommended.

I did not do the tour as listed as it was cancelled due to lack of numbers however I was off ered an upgrade to a full day which I took. It was excellent.

Although it was interesting to see more of the island than Wakiki Beach, this tour had nothing to do with Diamond head, which was the primary reason we selected it. The description also mentioned seeing some areas related to President Obama, but his name was never mentioned. The guide was knowledgeable about the island, but this was not the tour we thought we were going to have.

We enjoyed the trip very much. Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

We really just had a driver and Im sure we could have hired one for a lot less.

Expected to go to Diamond Head - not just drive by - that seemed to be misleading in the name of the tour

We were picked up ay our hotel almost an hour after our stated pick up time. Tour was good however and tour guide/ driver was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Quite a nice short tour, visited very scenic locations.
Driver was very informative, friendly and helpful.

First tour of our trip. Were very impressed with the knowledge of the tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed it

This tour experience was very enjoyable and worthwhile and I can only speak highly of the professionalism of the the bus driver/ tour guide. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and informative.

Had a fabulous guide in Leilani she taught and should me the real and extremely beautiful oahu!!!! A must for everyone

This was a wonderful tour. We had a very small group (6) and our tour guide made certain that we had time to see all of the points of interest. Our guide was friendly, very knowledgable and she was excited about what she was doing. When we finished the tour we felt that it was time well spent and we finished with smiles on our faces.

We went to some amazing places. Plenty of time for photos.
