Such nice people who organized and operated this trip. Ms. Lena went above and beyond helping get us around, outside of the scope of the tour. Much appreciated!

The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war

What an awesome tour. I highly recommend this tour. Very easy to book, great tour guide, Ryan. He was very professional and a great narrative and kept our attention. USS Arizona a privilege, you can feel the presence of those who remain at sea
Leena was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our visit to Pearl Harbor and the time to see Waikiki.
Good overview of Pearl Harbour. Summer was on time and provided history and culture during drive
We flew from Kauai, flight was on time and short. Our tour guide picked us up on time and was very knowledgeable. Pearl Harbor was very respectful of the lives lost and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to climb through Uss Missouri and the Bowfin Submarine. It was a full day and we were worn out by time we returned to Kauai but was a moving experience
Had plenty of time to see all the sites which are self guided. The Air Museum was a little disappointing but we live close to the Air Force museum which has a lot more planes and it’s free. The city tour was ok and the guide had good stories. Would have liked to have gone through the palace. The tour was complete in 7 hours. The tour company made us pay additional money for flights saying the price went up Or something like that. Thought that was not good customer service. How do we know the price went up? Was not happy about that. And they only let me know two days in advance.
Tour guide rushed everything. Felt like he had enough that week. Did not walk us around on any stops. We had to go it on our own. Not impressed
We had a great time on this Complete Pearl Harbor Experience. Cousin Guy was a great your guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Hawaii history. It was so interesting to learn about the history and language. Touring the Pearl Harbor Memorial is a memorable experience. Im very glad we took this tour. They made the flights and pick up/drop off at the airport effortless.
Arizona Memorial and Missouri Battleship were remarkable and a very moving experience. The rest of the tour was pretty average. The part at the end with sights in Honululu was subpar at best. Was great to have someone organize the entire tour for us. Biggest disappointment was the layover on return trip to Kauai. Flight times weren’t finalized until after we booked and they gave us a 4-4.5 hour layover waiting for our return flight. I realize they can’t control airline schedules but this was very untenable. That frankly made the experience not worth it, especially for the price. It’s an extremely long day. Our flight to Oahu left at 6:15am and return flight wasn’t until 8:45pm. Tour was planned to end around 4:30 so the layover at airport was extremely long. We left the tour early and returned to the airport on our own nickel to catch an earlier flight to avoid the 4 hour wait.
A must do for a visit to Hawaii. Worth every penny. Tour guide/ driver Summer was fantastic. We hope you find Zucker Summer!
We loved this experience. Leena is the best and made it a memorable trip. Definitely recommend. If you’re looking book through Aloha. Pickup and drop off at airport made easy
Summer was very personable and knowledgeable about everything. Very packed schedule that kept us busy till the very last minute. We loved the visit to all that was offered at Pearl Harbor. We would recommend it to others, just not for small children or babies.
The best way to take the tour if coming from another island. Takes all the stress away. Getting some history of Hawaii and a city tour after is a treat to finish the day. Jorge was a great guide. Provided so much info about Hawaii history in addition to Pearl.
Great experience, Mike was so helpful and accommodating, superb customer service! Anthony was awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable.
We were picked up at the exact time we were told .Our tour guide Airel was awesome ,he was very knowledgeable, polite ,had an awesome personality, made the trip fun ,he made our trip easy with his knowledge of where to go ,see first, and the pearl harbor exhibition is worth the time and money.
The USS Arizona and the tour of the Missouri. We also enjoyed the submarine museum and the air museum.
Amazing experience overall allowing for ample time to visit all of the various sites at Pearl Harbour. The tour guide on the USS Missouri, Heidi, was awesome!
Ariel did a great job! His knowledge of Hawaii and Pearl Harbor impresses me tremendously. He explained in great detail the attack on Pearl Harbor. Very personable , friendly and courteous.
Great experience to see the history in person. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend.
Our day long excursion from Kauai to Pearl Harbor was on our bucket list from the time we booked our vacation to Hawai’i nearly a year prior. I actually booked the day trip online from our home in Indiana, not really knowing what to expect. The communication back and forth with the Sunshine Tours staff was surprisingly personal and reassuring. The day of the trip from Kauai to Honolulu started out at 4:00 am driving our rental from the north end of the island to Lihue Airport to catch our 5:20 flight. A Short 19 minutes later we’re back on the ground and I’m waiting for my guide at the predetermined location at Honolulu Airport. I made a call to Sunshine Tours and spoke with a very helpful agent who conveyed that my driver was enroute and to answer any incoming local call because she may be contacting me. What a reassuring and mind easing conversation. When our tour guide, Kanoe arrived just a short time later, she was like a breath of fresh air. She got out of the bus and personally greeted us and got to know us before we boarded her small bus that already held about 20 fellow passengers. Kanoe immediately introduced us to the others, calling most of them by name, making us feel so right at home. She called me and my wife by name the whole day, and constantly brought up tid bits of information from our getting acquainted conversation prior to boarding the bus. I don’t know how she kept us and everyone else straight in her mind, but she was amazingly sharp. On the drive to Pearl Harbor she conveyed a history lesson to us all over the loud speaker while perfectly navigating her route. Very moving and expertly delivered. She remained at or near our groups side the entire day, giving very helpful tips of must see places and the most efficient order to view the many historical sights. When she would send us on our own, she always had a time and place to meet back up, and her judgement of time needed and punctuality was impeccable. After a long and enjoyably tiring day of soaking up a plethora of World War 2 history, she safely delivered my wife and myself back to Honolulu Airport in plenty of time to catch our return flight to Lihue. As she dropped us off, she even explained the navigation through the airport to help guide us where we needed to be. Many kudos to Kanoe and Sunshine Tours for providing us an enjoyable, stress free, and unforgettable adventure in the beautiful state of Hawai’i.
Provided the same information to Viator and aloha sunshine tours several times (birth dates for the flight..) I received an email the day before that the package was cancelled with no other information. Which sent me into a spiral because I was boarding the flight to Lihue. Turns out they only booked 1 of the 5 people that I paid for. Never received flight information even after I paid until I called about the cancellation. I was lied to and said that I didn’t receive flight information because I hadn’t paid. They finally fixed it all and I finally received flight information for everyone in the party. The tour bus driver was 15 minutes late picking up from the airport. I called to inquire and I got snapped at about “Lihue traffic” only to have that contradicted by the tour bus driver. Driver said there was ZERO traffic and just said they were running late. Extremely EXTREMELY stressful to book through Viator. I spent $18K on my entire trip and for this part of the trip to experience so many problems, was enough to give anyone a stroke. I saved for years to get to this point to take my family to Pearl Harbor. Not worth it to book this way. Communication was absolutely a dumpster fire. My two friends booked this with us and they had absolutely zero problems with the booking. Guess I got lucky. The driver for aloha sunshine tours, Leena, was an absolute gem- kind and knowledgeable. However there was some stress involved with getting back to the airport on time. We barely made it back to catch our flights back to Kauai. Time management was not on her radar. Pearl Harbor and all of that was absolutely amazing. The tour driver was kind. I would not use Viator again.
My husband & I booked the Complete Pearl Harbor Experience from Kauai. In general it was a great experience, and one that we would have had difficulty coordinating and booking ourselves. It started out a little rocky in that our confirmation stated we were booked on a Southwest flight from Kauai to Honolulu at 6:00 a.m. We were to be at the Lihue airport by 4:45 a.m. When we arrived and were trying to check in we found there was no reservation for us under the code we were given on any Southwest flight that day. Gate agent could not help us. Called the tour operator’s office and left a message since they were not yet open. As it turned out our reservation was on Hawaiian Airlines, not Southwest, despite the several confirmation messages we had received. We didn’t get a call back that day until late morning and by then we had figured it out ourselves. All in all, a bit stressful. Once reaching Honolulu, we were with a group of about 20 people. Vehicle was comfortable and our guide, Cousin Will, was very nice and kept us informed of the schedule. The tour felt a little rushed at times but overall was very enjoyable and informative. We felt we could have spent more time on the USS Arizona, but, since another shuttle was arriving we were encouraged to take the return one. The remainder of the tour was well done and memorable. We were dropped back at the Honolulu airport a few hours before our flight but we understood others had earlier flights to Maui or Kona so all of our schedules had to be accommodated for.
Great tour of Pearl Harbor. Jorge our driver was knowledgeable and professional. If you want a complete Pearl Harbor experience take this tour.
Our guide was full of wonderful information. This was a bucket list dream come true. I was pleased with the tour of the city and the clear information of how to tour Pearl Harbor.
Aloha Sunshine Tours arranged everything, which included our flight to and from Kauai and all the tickets we needed inside. He was a little late picking us up from the airport but there was another couple that got lost and we had to wait for them anyway. Jorge did a great job telling us what to expect at the Memorial and gave us a lot of information as we drove around Honolulu and Waikiki. My husband wanted to see EVERYTHING at Pear Harbor and this tour allowed us to see it all and we had plenty of time to see it.
Everything was great and awesome the experience of Pearl Harbor. Our Tour was Rick he was great nice, explain everything.
Everything that was supposed to happen did and on time We did have one issue but it was handled with speed and efficiency. I would recommend this tour operator without hesitantaion
We had a lovely, great planned out trip! It was organized so nicely! The printouts we were given upon arrival were great, and helpful. The tour guide was odd, and the tour van was in poor condition with no real working AC, so the tour vehicle was not the greatest, but mostly the windows were so dirty we were not even able to see out. However, the trip really was planned nicely, and organized! Hopefully you will get a great guide with a decent tour bus. I would still definitely recommend Viator for sure!
For myself and my husband, this may be a once in a lifetime visit and it was worth it. We took a day trip to Oahu to visit pearly harbor. We loved touring the Missouri and seeing all of the memorials. Our driver, Jorge, was very knowledgable and a blast to spend our day with! The entire experience was smooth from our departing flight from Kauai in the morning until we returned in the evening. For anyone interested in WWII, this is a must place to visit.
Johnny Aloha was the best tour guide with a lot of informative details about the island and is very personable and accommodating. I would highly recommend Aloha Sunshine Tours for your entertainment needs. The office staff were very nice and efficient. Give them a try!
Ariel was amazing he knew the history of Hawaii and pearl harbour like the back of his hand and his passion for Hawaii really showed! Best tour we have done. Aloha my cousin!
Had a great experience and our tour guide, Ariel, was awesome! We had no problems with our flight from Kauai and meeting up with Ariel for our drive to the memorial. This was our first vacation to Hawaii and visiting Pearl Harbor was on the top of our list. It did not disappoint! Highly recommend this tour!
We were staying on Kauai but wanted to see Pearl Harbor during our vacation so this full day tour was perfect to fill our needs and schedule. The Sunshine Aloha tours were helpful in clarifying questions that came up in the course of the day. It was a good value for the cost because it included inter island airfare ; all passes to all sites and museums for the day plus a great driving tour of Honolulu. Rick was prompt picking us up at the designated area at the airport however one couple was late arriving which held up the whole tour and made us have to rush to make our scheduled Arizona tour boat. There should be a cut off time to leave to ensure the majority of the group isn’t delayed. Jorge was our Honolulu tour guide once we finished the Pearl Harbor tour. He was also prompt for our pick up at 3 pm but it would have helped eliminate our concerns to make our return flight to Kauai if we knew how long the driving tour of Honolulu would last. Jorge was very knowledgeable about the history of Honolulu and the sites we toured. He also ensured we got back to the airport in plenty of time to our flight! All in all - great day and definitely worth the investment if you’re staying on another island.
This is a big your, but the exhibits are really well done and it is an immersive experience. Our driver, tour guide, comedian and rainbow expert Ariel was absolutely excellent. I had reason to ring the company for clarification during the tour and they were very helpful. A most excellent adventure!
