The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war
USS Bowfin Submarine (Adm. Incl.) This admission also incudes a headphone set for narration on the submarine. It also includes the admission for the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum.

The only royal palace in the United States. You will learn about Hawaii's monarchy, and hear stories about King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarchs.
From the palace you will view the iconic King Kamehameha Statue, a symbol of Hawaii's unity and strength. The statue is in front of the Aliʻiōlani Hale, the historic building that now houses the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Our guide will "talk story" of the fascinating history as the original government building of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Often referred to as the "Westminster Abbey of the Pacific," Kawaiahaʻo Church is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Hawaii. Our guide will teach you about the church’s significance and its role in Hawaii’s religious history.

A fun and educational day. Our guide Will led us through the long day with enthusiasm, energy, and great stories.
Good tour if you want to focus on Pearl Harbor. Not much else, other than the occasional drive-by. Tour gives you access to all PH sites.
Will was a great guide. Very informative and fun. He kept up with all of the people and made sure everyone was safe and experienced all that was available.
This was a great tour, but not what I expected. If you are looking for a completely guided tour, this one is not for you. Communication from Aloha Sunshine Tours prior to our tour was good. Pick up in front of our hotel was seamless and right on time. Upon arrival at Pearl Harbor, we were given instructions from our driver, Darcy, and off we went. Tickets for all attractions were included so no waiting in line. The only scheduled thing was our trip out to the Arizona Memorial. Everything else was at our discretion and at our pace, which was not what we anticipated. We thought we would be guided throughout the day but actually this worked out much better. It was great! We were picked up at the time stated and enjoyed our ride back to our hotel with a short stop at Iolani’s Palace for a quick photo opportunity. Darcy provided a running commentary of everything Hawaiian. He clearly has a deep love of his heritage. If you are interested in WWII history and enjoy exploring on your own, you will surely enjoy this tour!
Wonderful tour of Pearl Harbor National Park: the USS Arizona Memorial, Bowfin Sub, USS Missouri, Aviation Museum, USS Oklahoma Memorial, Historical exhibits and Museums on grounds of the National Park. Pick up was convenient right at our hotel with plenty of communication beforehand. The van basically drops you off at the National Park with your timed tickets for all the activities/exhibits and you can explore at your own pace, spending more or less time at various sites, depending on your interests. Pick up time and place following day at Pearl Harbor was seamless followed by a drive thru tour of Honolulu, some historic sites and the National Cemetery of the Pacific. Our guide Darcy was interesting and very proud of his Hawaiian heritage. For a full Pearl Harbor Tour, highly recommend.
Darcy was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He is a plethora of "useless" but fun information! Tour was great. So glad we did the complete tour. The SS Missouri and the Aviation Museum are not to be missed. Very cool places. The shuttle busses were timely. The Arizona Memorial was very moving. Great way to spend the day.
The complete Pearl Harbor tour was incredible and our driver was awesome. Would definitely recommend.
Very heart moving great for everyone . Well maintained areas . Great information from people that work there. Always willing to help & answer questions .2nd time there still gives goose bumps on nexk
William was our driver he was very knowledgeable about the history of Pearl Harbour .
Remember this is not a sightseeing stop, but a remembrance. A great day of learning and seeing what happened for ourselves.
Long day but very worthwhile. Our driver/host was very informative and enjoyable. My only criticism was that he talked very fast and at times it was hard to follow him.
Will did great job. Thank you for historical knowledge, insights, tips and communication. He connected with the night before to update time and in am when tree blocked road.
Tour guide was fantastic! He did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him on any tour.
Our tour was amazing. Our tour guide Will was amazing. He took very good care of us.
Will our guide was very good. Knowledgeable about the history of Pearl Harbor and also about Hawaiian islands in general. Shared alot of information with the group.
Awesome tour - lots to see and learn about Pearl Harbor. Enjoyed the museums and the Bowfin and the USS Missouri!
Our driver picked us up on time from our hotel. He was very friendly and made sure we understood the schedule. We did the complete Pearl Harbor tour. It was educational, emotional, interesting and a beautiful historical site. I could sense and imagine the event of that day as though I was there. I highly recommend due to the rich history and service of our military.
Don’t waste your money. Nobody even checked our tickets! We could have taken an uber for approx $80. A heck of a lot cheaper!! I would have left a 0 but that’s not an option. MOST entrances at Pearl Harbor are FREE. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WHOLE ORDEAL. Pearl Harbor is a great visit but go on your own!
Our driver Will is an amazing guide that picked us up from our hotel to pearl harbor. He is very informative and shared local knowledge along the way. We are very fortunate to have him as our guide today
Experience and judge for themselves, but first lower expectations so you are not dissapointed. It's ok for poor middle class slobs like me. 👍
Will was an excellent and knowledgable tour guide.
Will our driver and tour guide was excellent.
It's all day long, 10 or eleven hours from pickup to return. Junior was a great guide and gave us a lot of info on Hawaii and Pearl.
Learned a lot of history of events. Long day and worth it.
Had a great pearl harbor tour with Will as our guide. Very funny and very knowledgeable.
Will was our guide during this excursion. He was absolutely fantastic! He made learning about the events of Pearl Harbor, WWII, and the history of Honolulu enjoyable and engaging. He also gave great recommendations for how maximize our time while doing the excursions.
Great tour guide...complete pearl harbor experience a must...must do if visiting Hawaii don't miss it
Maya our tour/driver guide is the best..
Great tour Gide very knowledgeable got us where we needed to go quickly and told us facts on the way
This was well worth it and everything was included. Will was our guide and he was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. He even recommended some local places to eat around town.
The Guide/ transportation person was awesome the company that actually booked the trip not so much…. A lot of confusion with regards to pick up spot and time … we are not local so it should be quite clear where to go and time etc !
Aloha Sunshine Tours and our guide, Will were perfect. Great communication. Will was very knowledgeable and patient while answering all of our questions. He was prompt and made us feel so welcome.
Spend first half on Pearl Harbor Arizona, sub and the ships and spend lunch at the aviation museum. Follow the itinerary and you will have time.
We originally planned to do the Pearl Harbor experience on our own but decided there were too many unknowns. It turned out to be a good call on our part. Our guide, Will, made sure we knew what was a must see and gave us a text follow up at each stop. He made our Pearl Harbor day everything we had hoped for.
Our tour guide, Mai (Miah??), was fun. I've officially invited him to be our Ohana. Great guy. Gave our history major son a great experience. That was worth the money. Best best best experience.
This tour is self guided. I wish I had read some more reviews ahead of time and knew to expect that. The Navy does not allow tour guides on-site which I understand. It was still a great day (4th of July) to visit Pearl Harbor. This tour had a lot packed into a day. We probably could have spent another day there to see everything- there’s just so much.
It’s informative and a great experience. We got to see many cool spots on this trip and loved getting to hear the history behind it all.
My Pearl Harbor excursion was one of the most meaningful experiences of my trip to Oahu. I started by touring the submarine, which was incredibly fascinating, then experienced the virtual reality presentation of the Pearl Harbor attack. It was immersive, emotional, and brought history to life in a way I’ll never forget. I spent hours exploring the museums, reading the monuments, and taking in the significance of every exhibit before boarding the ferry boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. One of the most unforgettable moments came when I found a fallen serviceman aboard the USS Arizona who shared my very unique last name. It felt deeply personal and left me wondering if we might be related somewhere down the family line. As an Army veteran, walking the decks of the USS Missouri gave me an entirely new appreciation for the Navy. Seeing how massive the ship was while realizing how small the living quarters were made me respect the sacrifices made by those who served there even more. Transportation was just as memorable thanks to my driver, August. A native Samoan, he shared so much Hawaiian history, culture, and storytelling throughout the day. Since I was the only passenger who stayed for the entire Pearl Harbor experience, I had the ride back to myself, but he still gave me the full island tour. Visiting the Punchbowl Cemetery, ʻIolani Palace, the King Kamehameha I statue, and even seeing the high school Bruno Mars attended made the journey back just as enjoyable as the excursion itself. This experience was educational, emotional, inspiring, and absolutely worth every minute. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.
Will is very knowledgeable about the history and the tour. We had a great experience with him on the Pearl Harbor complete tour. He was very flexible with our requests and very patient especially we are a big family and he gave us all the time we need and still finished on time. Mahalo to Will. 10/10 stars! ⭐️
Other than providing a shuttle to and from Waikīkī, and having pre paid tickets. there is nothing remarkable or memorable about the service provided by this company. In actuality it probably over priced. The driver tried too hard. He actually made a few customers uncomfortable (not me). All he did was drop us off and pick us up providing a little entertainment on the way. The low rating really comes from the company’s vehicle. It was oldish and definitely could have used a polishing and deep cleaning of the interior. The WORST part was that the air conditioning was broken and since the bus was filled with passengers we were all miserable. In fact two ticket holders demanded that they be allowed to leave before we left Pearl Harbor, taking an Uber or taxi back into town. Pearl Harbor and its history is totally worth while seeing and experiencing. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit here to experience history and pay your respects to those that gave their all and some their lives so that we can have the lives we have today. Like I said there was nothing worth recommending about using this company
This tour was wonderful! We had plenty of time at Pearl Harbor and got a full tour. They also take you around all the important parts of the city and explain everything from history to current events. Our bus driver was wonderful and funny. A 5/5 experience!
Great experience, everybody did a great job explaining the tour. driver let us know where to go and when to be there. No pickup or drop off problems.
This is largely a self-guided tour of the Pearl Harbor.museums, though participants are driven to and from Pearl Harbor and there are a couple of guided stops on the way back. Comprehensive tickets are provided for all the activities at Pearl Harbor, and guides on site provide some explanations on board the Missouri battleship and at the Arizona memorial. The tour essentially provides the convenience of not having to obtain your own tickets (which for the Arizona memorial can be difficult unless done well in advance, since those unlike the other sights at Pearl are free) and pick up and drop off at your hotel, which was done in a timely manner; you then move at your own pace through the various Pearl museums, except for the Arizona which is timed as you need to take a boat shuttle to get there. You get your own lunch, which can easily be done by the Missouri or near the Arizona museum and Bowfin sub. Recommended if you are comfortable with moving at you own pace but don’t want to have to arrange all your own tickets and transport. The exhibits and museums at Pearl Harbor are amazing and must sees for anyone interested in American and WWII history, taking you from the start of American entry into the war with the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor to the Japanese surrender on the deck of the Missouri. Don’t miss the Aviation Museum, with a great collection of aircraft from WWII onwards, or the Bowfin and the adjoining submarine museum, which demonstrate the critical role subs played in the Pacific and what it was like to be on them.
The tour was wonderful. Only issue we had was it was self guided and didn’t know that. Having them get all the tickets and not worrying about parking was wonderful. Our tour guide Darcy was excellent. With lots of little history tidbits about the area was great.
Summer was so knowledgeable! The day was jam-packed but went by so fast. She made the whole experience great!
Knowledgeable tour director, who was very patient with the different people in the van. Pearl Harbor is something everyone should experience when the come to Honolulu. The long tour gives you a lot of time to experience the different sights at your own pace and relax while eating lunch.
This was an amazing tour. We got to see absolutely everything Pearl Harbor. Bucket list for my Dad aged 82 our driver was most helpful and very knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Brian was a great guide for our tour! He was informative and friendly and funny! The tour was very good for the money.
Very good tour, our Pearl Harbor experience wasn’t rushed and cousin Miah made it fun. A tour is better than trying to drive in the city.
