This was an amazing experience. We saw so many turtles and on top of that we also saw dolphins which was such a treat. JC was such a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!!!!

Had a blast, Evan was a great tour guide and showed us lots of totally live turtles. Went out around the reef and up the river, lots of good conversation and real chill time.

JC was a great guide and made a good call to start earlier due to increasing winds. As a result we had calm waters and got to go pretty far out looking for whales. We also got to get up next to the surf break and watch the surfers. Of course we saw plenty of turtles. The glass bottom canoes are kind of a novelty. The kids liked it, but you can actually see better on a SUP with a good pair of polarized sunglasses. JC knows this a offered the adults a SUP, we should have taken him up on it. If you are in this area be sure to check out Waimea Valley and hike the Pillbox to watch the sunset

We saw so many sea turtles during this tour, it was amazing! James was quite a friendly tour guide who was really accommodating to us. It was our first family kayaking experience and it was quite memorable!

Absolutely loved our trip. We had a group of 5 and used the canoe and kayaks. We saw so many turtles. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

The tour guide was great and overall we had a great time kayaking. We were able to see some turtles, but we were not able to see anything below the transparent boat due to the condition of the water that day. We understand this is not something that can be controlled but it was way overpriced for the experience.

Ww had such a fun experience kayaking with our instructor James. He called us 30 minutes before our appointment to confirm we were good to go. He was very friendly and informative. He took great pictures and videos of the experience for free and emailed them to us after our visit. Thank you for the incredible experience.

James took us out on the water on the stand up paddle boards, super clear guidance had each of us up and paddling with ease. Was a lovely atmosphere going down the river, spotting turtles, and climbing rope! Cheers James 🤩

Sorry but this was not very fun or scenic. Instead go to Kailua, which is out of this world beautiful and was the best day ever.

This kayak trip was the highlight of our trip. We signed up for glass bottom, but the waters were too rough, so the owner called that morning to let us know that we would need to change to a regular kayak and an outrigger canoe. I am so glad we did switch because it was an even better experience! My husband and son were in a kayak together, and my two daughters and I were in the canoe with the owner. Because the owner was guiding the canoe, we could look for turtles and take photos. We saw SO MANY sea turtles! Swimming by us, resting on the shore of the river bed, and then we also got to jump in from a rope swing and jump off a small bridge into the water. It was a great family adventure, and we felt safe and taken care of the entire time. When we return, we will use this company again for another excursion!

This tour does not match the image at all. There was no snorkeling. I asked and was told the conditions are not good for snorkeling, I don't think this is even a snorkeling tour and I never would have paid that amount if I had known there was no snorkeling. They actually take you in a river near the ocean and the water is so brown. No need for a glass bottom boat. We did see turtles and our guide was really nice. However, we never got our pictures because his phone died and he said he'd text them but never did. This was way too overpriced and very misleading advertising. We didn't even go the full 2 hours. Rent your own kayak or paddle board from a local place on the north shore and go. The turtles are there with or without the guide.

We had an amazing experience! Steve texted us earlier in the day to let us know the water would be a bit rough - the attentiveness to our safety and experience was very thoughtful. He ensured us we could participate in a difference activity or even reschedule for another experience. We chose to continue with the tour and it did not disappoint! Our guide, James, was very experienced but allowed us to go at our own pace. We saw a ton of turtles and the area itself was really scenic. We then went down a river where we saw more turtles! Not only did he get great videos and photos for us, he gave us great insight into the local history and culture. Overall, we would book with Sea & Board Sports again and again.

We recommend this tour, it is customizable with what you want to do. We picked the clear kayak and turtle tour and saw plenty of turtles! We had plenty of time to snorkel, enjoy the views and go in the water.

You will definitely see turtles here. Tour is very informal, VERY informal. They make you do everything by yourself, from pulling your kayak to the beach to bringing it back. Expect lots of arm work. I would try a different tour operator next time. Overall expect turtles but not great customer service.

We loved the clear bottom kayak tour, so many turtles! And James was the best instructor, I want to be his best friend.

My husband and I did this tour yesterday and had an awesome time. We had been kayaking before but these clear kayaks were really cool (and easier to navigate than the ones we had been on before). James, our guide, clearly loves what he does and excitedly pointed out the many, many turtles that were all around us. The water was super clear, which allowed us to see them right next to us and sometimes even swim under the kayak. After the turtles, James took us near the drop off point where we saw the beautiful change in the ocean floor scenery through the kayak bottom! Next was the river, which was so relaxing and a nice change of pace. Note: I get VERY seasick and got a little woozy in the beginning. I told James halfway through and we took a short break. Definitely take a Dramamine beforehand, but honestly I felt just fine without it, so don’t skip the tour on that account!

The guides are kind and warm. I really like the service. We want to see you again and have a good time together.

Going kayaking with Steve and his team was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour starts with check-in where you get your safety gear and kayak. We needed additional accommodation and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, safe and had a blast. We saw SO MANY TURTLES! We had the best time on our clear bottom kayak tour! James was an absolutely wonderful guide. He was so patient with all of us and very knowledgeable about the area. We saw so many turtles and got some really amazing photos! The gorgeous sunset was a great bonus too. I would most definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing time!

This was a fantastic adventure. The kayaking was great and the glass bottom allowed us to see more things underwater. The guide was great about spotting turtles and other wild life, and then ensuring that we see them. I've only kayaked a couple of times before this, but I didn't have any problems keeping afloat during this trip. I definitely recommend checking out these guys. My nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip!

We had a great experience! Steve was awesome to work with. We were in a small group which is nice. I’m a kayaking beginner and it was very stress-free and enjoyable which I need. Seeing the turtles was one of my favorite activities on our vacation!

Steve is very knowledgeable and friendly, always eager to answer questions and suggestions. Watched him point out turtles to families nearby who weren’t even part of the tour. Very aloha and happy experience. If you want to cruise and have fun this is would be a huge value add to your trip!

If you are looking for a unique adventure, then this is the one for you! Our guide Doug took great care of us and made sure we had an amazing time. I was paired with someone that didn’t know how to kayak, so it made my experience frustrating. (She was super nice & did try.) They didn’t have kids snorkels & therefor my daughter’s leaked. She didn’t snorkel, but did go on the paddleboard to look from above. The route was a bit far & water very murky. I only saw 2 - one that came up for air & one a guide pointed to me. Then we went up an inlet & you could rope swing/jump. The led even took pics & sent them to us before we left. The guides were super nice & wanted to make a memorable experience for all!

Doug was just so cool- and balanced, too- on his paddle board bucket! Took us out to all the right spots for the best experience, and took photos for us along the way! Thanks for the experience, Doug!

The ocean, river and all around area where we kayaked were beautiful - and the icing on the cake was the abundance of turtles! One of our favourite activities and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone - and wouldn't hesitate to do it again if I was ever lucky enough to return to Oahu!

The guys made it a really nice experience…they are punctual, professional, and easy to find the meeting point. They are good at responding to text messages, phone calls, and emails. They were good at keeping us safe, keeping us grouped together, and with giving us instructions on how to use the equipment. They do provide you with everything you will need. We didn’t get to finish the tour more so because we got seasick, but in the time we were there, we were able to see the sea turtles and a sting ray. They did make sure we got back to the shore safely. They take pictures along the way and they will send you a link through your email so you can access it.

James was our tour guide he was amazing.!! The tour was exciting we seen lots of turtles and a manta ray.. I would recommend this tour

-you're ok with them calling you the day before to change the time. You're on vacation and you want to be flexible, but that also means you have to cut short your other plans to accommodate this change. -you're ok paying for a 2 hour tour but only given 1 hour. -you're ok choosing this place because they offer glass bottomed kayaks, but when you arrive, they tell you you're getting a regular kayak because the water isn't visible anyway. Then when you get on the water, you see that everybody else in the group was given a glass kayak and you're the only ones with the regular kayak. -you're ok with contacting them later to ask for an explanation about paying for 2 hours but only getting a 1 hour tour, only to have them lie about the time and refuse to discuss. This was not what I paid for. We are disappointed and won't return and won't recommend this company.

There is no planned snorkel in Winter in the tour. We brought our equipment and the guide asked us to snorkel in a place that has no fish and the water was not clear.

The tour guide was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the area and kept everyone safe. We saw several turtles...big turtles.

Our guide was wonderful and his little boy was precious. Our guide made sure we saw sea turtles and he took pics of us with the turtles on his phone and shared them. The ocean, surroundings and the river we kayaked were beautiful. Well worth the cost -- one of our favorite adventures.

It really was such a great experience! Ended up on paddle boards instead and I’m really glad We did!! Our guide was extremely kind and patient since most of us hadn’t been on a paddle board before. It was quiet, away from the busy and I highly recommend!!!

It was a great experience seeing turtles with a glass bottom kayak. Drake was a awesome guide. He showed us all the turtles where they were and how my wife try out the surfboard which she loved very much. I will definitely do it again we come to Oahu.
