The service was excellent throughout the trip, and the bartending was particularly impressive. Friendly crew, comfortable and beautiful ride, and tasty cocktails. Very enjoyable experience. Our only complaint was that we chose this particular experience because it left from Waikiki and we could walk there, but because of the waves we had to take a Lyft to the new location.

My family (my husband, 11-year-old boy, and me) took the sunset sail on the Hawea. We had a great time sailing along the Waikiki coast. The entire crew was friendly. The check-in process at the dock was quick. The 50-foot catamaran was sturdy that I didn’t get motion sickness. We’d recommend this tour with Waikiki Sailing Company.

We had a fabulous time on this sunset sail! Everything from booking to pick up and drop off went so smoothly. We had been watching the crew do regular pick ups throughout the day on Waikīkī beach and were so impressed with their friendly and efficient staff, but little did we know we would be joining the same crew that evening. On board, the atmosphere and care taken to ensure everyone was looked after and having a great time, whether young or old, singles, couples or groups, is to be commended. Drinks were delicious, music was great and there was plenty of room and time to relax, take photos or chat while enjoying the view and watching the beautiful sunset. Highly recommend and would definitely do this again.

Our friend booked this sunset cruise for our friend's birthday. As Hawai'i residents, we were skeptical it would be corny, but it was enjoyable! The water was choppy as the hurricane came in, but the staff made us feel safe and at ease. We got to see some birds and fish too!

Cameron, Carlos, and Sofia were excellent! It is evident that they love what they do and that translated into an exceptional experience for those of us on the sunset tour. The music was great. The vibes were fun and the three of them couldn’t have been nicer. The sunset was beautiful even through the clouds. The rainbow we saw was definitely a lucky bonus. We will tell our friends and will be back!

This is an amazing experience. The crew will take you out along the shoreline where you can see all of Waikiki , Honolulu, Pearl Harbor and everything along the beautiful coast. And then the sunset!! Amazing. No other words can describe it. The crew is wonderful. All of them!

Fun time and great views! A small group of people that really took care of everything. Yes , we got a little wet but that's ok. We went out further than the other boats and used both motor and sales. Just sign up for this adventure!

Such an amazing experience from start to finish, the team in our boat was super friendly and professional.

The team made us feel very safe from the very beginning before we stepped a foot on the stairs. It was a wonderful time and the drinks were good. Bring something for nausea, it can show up unexpectedly. Also, don’t stay seated inside the cabin as that might not have helped with getting sea sick. Overall I highly recommend if you want to do something different and see the beautiful sunset.

Definitely do not wear a ballcap. You'll lose it as one guest did. Overall great experience. Wonderful crew. They circled and waited until sunset. We saw other catamarans returning before the sun set.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time! Thankfully we were able to pay up front at the boat and it was fairly reasonable. The crew on that ship were amazing and had really good vibes, so we both felt pretty safe on the boat. We were on the boat for a couple of hours, so that gave us many opportunities to take some lovely pictures. Thankfully it was a decent sized crowd, so we had no problems finding a spot to hang out. The crew also had really good taste in music that also made it more enjoyable.

Great activity. I got the best photos of the sunset all week. There are great views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the water. The crew were friendly and helped everyone who asked get photos. You might get wet past your knees getting on and off the boat.

So fun and the first mate Carlos was great. We were running late and went to the wrong boat on accident and he called us and let us on even though we were late. So thankful!

Dont book here. They Didnt pick us up then lied to viator that we went, so they stole our money. And viator did a terrible job at helping us.

Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had! The sunset sail was absolutely incredible from the views to the vibe, everything was perfect. I went with the premium drink package and it was 100% worth it. The drinks were flowing, the crew was super friendly, and the whole atmosphere just felt relaxed and fun. And I HAVE to mention the mango margarita… it literally tasted like a jolly rancher in the best way possible. So smooth, so flavorful, I lost count of how many I had 😅.

The sunset sail was one of our favorite excursions in Waikiki! The crew was fun and even took some pictures for us. The catamaran was beautiful and it was so peaceful to be on the water at sunset. We loved it!!

Amazing cruise and an amazing crew

This was an excellent experience! Highly recommend. Watching the sunset with your loved one while on the boat in the ocean at Waikiki Beach can’t be beat. Relationship didn’t last, but the experience was once in a lifetime.

We picked this cruise because it was convenient as it departs right from the main beach in Waikiki. The boat was clean and safe but it just felt too overcrowded which made it difficult to move from where we were sitting to the bar. Having only one bartender was a great way to limit the number of drinks you could enjoy with the “premium” package (hint: it’s not worth the extra expense). Being in our late 50’s we were clearly not the target demographic but young people may enjoy it more. This is most definitely a mass market experience and not premium in any way but not a bad deal considering the expense.

We had a wonderful Sunset cruise! The crew was great… helpful & friendly! The music was really great… some oldies & island style, upbeat & perfect for an evening cruise! The weather was a little windy, but the Captain got us perfectly in calm water. Even saw a whale breach!

My boyfriend and I recently visited Waikiki. We were staying at the Moana Surfrider. The Hawea Comes right up on shore next to the hotel so initially we picked this company out of convenience, but wow am I glad that we did! Captain Jenna, Dez and Lucy were outstanding: friendly, professional and just a lot of fun! Lucy was especially engaging (turns out she had family from South Africa which is where my bf is from) and great with the drinks! The whole crew made this an unforgettable experience. Thank you!!!

The staff on this vessel are amazing! I took the time to figure out which sunset cruise I should go on and I would pick this one again every time. They take photos and videos for you, play good music, have tasty drinks just and overall good time for singles and couples
