Blue Skies Of Oahu Helicopter Tour

Absolutely worth every penny! Our pilot took us around the whole island and gave insightful information about all the different areas. She also made sure she turned the helicopter for those sitting on the opposite side to get great footage. No matter where you sat, everyone was able to see everything. I truly do recommend wearing dark clothing. It cuts down on the reflection tremendously. I highly recommend the hour tour!

This was an awesome way to see Oahu from a different vantage point. The views were breathtaking, and we were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day. The staff was very informative and friendly. Definitely a highlight we won't forget.

I have been on one other helicopter tour in my life, and this one was very smooth and a great way to see all of Oahu.

Somehow when I booked the trip I entered one persons weight and either the computer accidentally duplicated that weight for the 2nd person or I did but it was 50+ lb overage so one of us couldnt go on the tour but the staff accomodated us as best as they could and tried to help make things right for us. The group that did get to go said it was very good and would highly tecommend it and this tour company.

Bought my family for their first time and they loved it. The pilot Markus did a great job narrative of the whole slight. It was amazing. My second time and it was as exciting as the first.

I was the solo admission, but was paired with another family of course. The company team allocated everyone fairly. One person from the family in the front. The rest of the family sat in the back. I was solo, so I was the other person nominated in the front. The helicopter can seat 6 passengers. 2 in front, which have full view of the front of course and sides. 4 in back, only the two passengers on the sides have windows. We had 5 passengers total, not including the pilot. You can bring camera equipment like a mirrorless camera or DSLR with a long lens, but make sure it is not extremely long and intrusive. I highly advise against bringing very large camera gear. You are only allowed your one camera with the lens attached at all times, no camera bags, no extra lens. Please be mindful of this. Nicole was our pilot. She is excellent! If you get her as a pilot you are in good hands! She is patient and mindful of all passengers during and after the flight. She gives everyone on the flight multiple chances and opportunities to see everything by performing multiple turns to allow all passengers on all sides to see while keeping it smooth. She narrated the key points while also allowing periods of quiet ambience to enjoy the breath taking views of Oahu. Whatever questions you asked, she answered professionally and with courtesy. Every pilot has their own unique music playlist in the background. Nicole had Deadmau5 - Ghosts N Stuff (Nero Remix); Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foa'i - We Know The Way (Finale); Weezer - Island In the Sun; Coldplay - Clocks; Chicago - Saturday In the Park. There are a few others I didn't list or I don't recognize, but also I am being bias and I'm just recognizing the songs I personally enjoyed and listened to. The flight was about 55 minutes approximately, based on video you can purchase at the end, from take off to landing. My vacation was not very long in Hawaii, approximately a week. Out of everything I have done from hiking, driving, dining, and so on this was probably the number one highlight out of the whole trip! If you are able to do this helicopter tour, please do it, it is something you really don't want to miss. And if you can bring a "nice" camera, your smartphone won't capture some of the impressive details you will miss. This was by far the best experience ever! We enjoyed our helicopter tour even though it rained hard on us during a small part of the tour. The pilot was awesome. The sad part was that the tour was supposed to show us a waterfall and it did not.

It was awesome the pilot was very informative the views of the sacred waterfall was cool. I’m a big lighthouse fanatic didn’t know Oahu had two lighthouses. Flying over Pearl Harbor and the air strip were it was bombed. It is a differant perspective over it as well.

Great customer service… The Helicopter ride was amazing. Amy our pilot did a very nice job pointing out different sights with detailed explanations. Great music selection during the ride as well. As windy as it was Amy kept us with a smooth ride. We missed the water falls and believe it was weather related. The trip was delayed, but the customer service given, got us off on time. Great job, thank you for the great tour and service.

This was my first helicopter ride, and it exceeded all my expectations. The aerial views of Hawaii were incredible, and the whole team made us feel comfortable and safe. Worth every dollar and a memory we’ll treasure forever. 🌴🚁❤️

Was amazing!! We saw almost whole island and waterfall , Hanauma Bay, Kailua, Lanikai, Wamanalo and Kaneohe Bay.

Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tour of Oahu was incredible! Being able to view the landscape and landmarks from the air gives a whole new perspective & respect to the beautiful landscape of the island. The helicopter ride was spectacular. Patrick was our pilot and he was very knowledgeable about each area of the island. The only reason I didn't rate this tour a five was because I was sitting in seat 3. That is on the opposite side of where all tbe commentary was taking place. I saw a lot of the ocean and everyone else saw what the pilot described. If I had to do it again I'd select a seat 3. It was the best seat on the helicopter.

We cannot speak highly enough of our helicopter tour with Markus as our pilot. He put everyone at ease immediately and provided great details about all the areas that we flew over. It's great to read that Blue Hawaiian's pilot training standards are higher than other companies (they also have their own simulator for training). We loved how the background music playlist was perfectly appropriate to the areas we were flying in. We were also very impressed with how professional the entire staff was from office staff to ground crew to our pilot. The helicopter was immaculate, and the windows didn't have a scratch which made for amazing photos. The helicopter windows and seating make for excellent viewing from all seats. We have had many different experiences in Hawaii through different visits over the years, but our helicopter tour today was a highlight of them all! Thank you Markus and Blue Hawaiian- we're so thankful we chose you for our helicopter tour!

Marcus was very knowledgeable and the tour was great. We saw a whale and many island highlights. More expensive than other but worth the cost.

We were very upset and dissapointed after waiting 2 hours and spending $100 on transport getting there, we were told that our ride is cancelled. It happens. We get it. However Blue Hawaii did not put us on next flight ( and cancel people who didnt even get there yet ). Yes, they offered for another day but that was not an option for us. So in summary, we spend two hours and $100 on transport without accomodation by the operator. They really should have bumped people from future rides on the same day who didnt spent $ or time like we did. It was very inconsiderate.

Come prepared to learn about the history of Hawaii. Also, if you have any type of motion sickness, you might want to take a Dramamine before.

It was nice. The pilot was excellent. it was less than an hour. They didn’t go all the way around the island they missed the furthest southwest tip not sure why. Would love to do it again.

First helicopter ride was awesome for me and my family. Great pilot/ tour guide. Smooth ride. Some of my kids were nervous but it was very safe.

The views were amazing we took so many photos ,the pilot (Sarah) gave us the best views possible with detailed information on each location.

The staff were friendly and the pilot was nice. He was very knowledgeable and informative about what we were flying over. The views were great except for when the late afternoon sun was blasting and you couldn’t see well, for this reason I don’t advise taking the 4:40 pm flight like we did. They need to fix their microphones that you speak to the pilot on. He told us we would be able to hear each other but he probably wouldn’t be able to hear us because the microphones have been malfunctioning and they need a part replaced. We tried twice to ask a question about something we saw and he just shook his head and said he couldn’t hear us.

I’m terrified of heights but this didn’t scare me at all! The pilot did a great job of narrating and kept the tour engaging and fun. Would definitely recommend!

If you're looking for the best helicopter tour of Oahu, you found it!! The entire staff is wonderful and each contributed to the best experience! Markus was our pilot and pointed out not only landmarks, but also their historical significance. When we were out over the water, we saw at least 6 humpback whales breaching!!! That was my favorite!! Markus made sure to turn the helicopter so everyone could get the best view of the points of interest. It was SO AWESOME!!!

Going by Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. I was there 15 years ago as a freshman in high school. Markus was our pilot and was very informative and helpful.

Very good tour, Alex our Pilot did a great job of making it a smooth ride even for some first time helicopter riders. Left on time, lasted about an hour and arrived back on time

We loved the trip the pilot was very informative and to see the side you can’t see from the ground. It was great seeing pearl harbour from the air.

This is the BEST thing we done while in Oahu!! I have always wanted to take a helicopter ride, we sat up front with the pilot and saw the most amazing scenes!!!
