Crew was very friendly and knowledgeable about whales. Learned a lot, saw dolphins and whales, and listened to whales do quite a while. My husband has mobility issues and walks with a cane and they were very accommodating and made it easy for him to get on and off the boat. Really appreciated them calling ahead of time since they knew he had a wheelchair to assess his needs and make sure he could safely board.

We took the whale watch tour today It was the best whale watching cruise I have ever had. We hade whales right next to the boat for at least 30 minutes. The naturalists commentary was great. Enjoyed it emensely. Saw lots of whales and some spinner dolphins.
This was amazing. We saw 3 very active whales who breached more times than you could count, mama and baby plus companion. Saw over 12 whales plus spinner dolphins putting on a show as well as bottle nose dolphins and flying fish. Boat was comfortable upper and lower deck, shade or sun options. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, parking just a few blocks from pier, easy checkin!
It was amazing!!! The captain knew exactly where to go and was great about making sure all the passengers got their pictures. The crew’s knowledge about whales was impressive and we all left knowing so much about the whales ourselves from them.
This whale watch excursion was awesome! We saw so many whales. Two whales really put on a show for us. The captain said it’s the 1st time in 13 years he has seen what we saw today. Caroline was super informative and sweet! The Farmer’s from Texas
Captain and crew did a great job of finding the whales and explaining their behavior. A fun time on the water. Highly recommended!
Thoroughly enjoyed our tour today. We were in the whales within five minutes of getting out to sea and had several close encounters. Caroline was an exceptional naturalist!
Barely a tiny part of a whale spotted far away, no other marine life spotted, pretty boring. It’s more like a boat ride for 2.5 hours. The boats are packed, arrive early to get in line so you can get a seat you want. Positive thing is the crew is really nice, snacks and drinks were good, the boat and toilets onboard were clean.
Very good company, from reservation folks to the boat crews, all quite helpful and nice. Boat rides great, big enough to smooth some of the sea sickness smaller ones have. Did not see whales on the first trip, but did have enough time to take a free second trip and saw a large pod of pilot whales. Late March/early April iffy for whales there. Enjoyed both rides and recommend this tour highly.
An amazing excursion! It was a beautiful day to see dolphins playing and end in the middle of a pod of whales. One whale came close enough we could hear it blowing out its air; that was exciting! The conservationist was very personable and informative. The crew was very attentive to the passengers. If we are ever back on the island we will take this excursion again!
This company offers a lot of different tours. I wish I would have booked all my s Tours through them. They are very professional and fun and make sure everyone has a great time. I recommend you book your Hawaii experiences with this team. Erica is a great captain!!
Very peaceful and clam. Love seeing the mother whale with her baby. The topper was the dolphins right before we got to the dock.
We had a wonderful time. The boat was very clean and spacious. The crew was extremely friendly and informative. Caroline answered all our questions about the whales.
Wonderful, saw multiple whales and a mom and calf. Staff was wonderful, food was good and drinks were plentiful.
Had a great time. We saw lots of whales. The staff were great, knowledgeable, and friendly. The boat was clean and comfortable,
I have been whale watching for over 20 years. I love seeing these magnificent creatures. We left the dock and went a little ways out, we saw a whale way out from the boat and could see that it was going in for a dive. Let me mention here that I totally understand the rules for whale watching from a boat. You can not pursue a whale. You have to stay your distance. I so respect that. However, our captain stayed in one place well away from where the whale was, and we sat, and we sat, and we sat waiting for this whale to reappear. Time was about 40 minutes. Why? The captain could move about the ocean and see other whales, but no, we sat there. I talked to others on the boat who were wondering if this was what a whale watch was. I told them no. I even met a local on the boat who had friends from out of state. The local like myself felt this was a total waste. Her friends were happy to be here and see a distant whale because where they were from is freezing and snowing, so of course they were delighted to be in warm sunshine on the ocean. But many of the people were very disappointed. The boat was big and had 3 bathrooms. So what. It wasn't all that comfortable and a dull and boring whale watch. This place may be excellent for a dinner cruise and I would bet it is but I would opt for a smaller boat where the captain does adhere to rules and you get so amazing views on whales.
A ride filled with over 20 whale breaches, a school of bottle nose dolphins, and flying fish. Our captain and crew provided expert guidance and care giving us a carefree boat ride… a thrilling and memorable adventure!
Fantastic whale watching cruise with excellent marine naturalist. Easy and convenient departure right off the Kona pier. Large comfortable boat, and we had lots of room. Followed a mom, her calf and a bill whale for awhile as they frolicked in the water. Bottle nose and spinner dolphins made an appearance as well. Met and exceeded expectations. Super friendly crew.
Guide was friendly and knowledgeable, crew very attentive. We were very fortunate to see whales breaching, dolphins and flying fish.
One of the best whale excursions we have done. Great crew, boat facilities and program. Easy on and off. Very convenient location!
Our crew was very professional, polite, and funny. We left Kona Harbour and spotted our first humpback whales within 20 minutes. The captain expertly tracked the whales for the rest of our experience and we were fortunate to have the whales surface multiple times within meters of us. We could see the whales through the crystal clear water. It was well worth the money.
Excellent tour, well organised, made even better by the fact that whales swam directly underneath and alongside the boat. Absolutely brilliant !
Such a great time! We saw whales, hammerhead sharks, and spinner dolphins - the crew was fantastic, attentive, and well informed. Highly recommend!
The boat was very clean. They offered three restrooms ADA for passengers. The entire staff, the wait staff, the captain. The biologist was excellent answering everyone’s questions about the whales. We even saw a whale breach we saw tail fins we saw dorsal fins Itwas excellent.
The staff is always asking if you need anything. Caroline the naturalist and the captain were so knowledgeable. Learned a lot.
We saw humpback whales as soon as we left the dock. We were fortunate to see many whales breaching which was breathtaking!! Our naturalist, Caroline, did a first class job of explaining whale behavior and of answering questions, clearly and with good humor. I highly recommend this tour.
We loved everything about the whale watching cruise. The crew are knowledgeable, professional and extremely friendly. They are experts at finding whale activity and ensured we always had the best views while taking care not to disturb the whales, which we really appreciated. Naturalist Caroline was wonderful and provided interesting and entertaining commentary throughout the cruise. We highly recommend Body Glove!
A great afternoon. We learned a lot about whales. It took a while to see our first one but then we saw many. We don’t get up close to any but it was a really great experience
The crew was fantastic... very knowledgeable, informative and available to help with anything. The included "snacks" were very lacking. It was a great afternoon.
Seeing whales is not guaranteed as with any wild animal viewing...crew is friendly and views from boat very pretty
We saw some dolphins and a ton of flying fish right away. Just as we turned to go back to the port a guest saw a whale blow!! We were up close and personal to two humpback whales!!! It was incredible how close to the boat they got too! They even followed us! The cew was awesome. They were very kind and the onboard speaker was great. A little hard to hear at times, so either sit up too or right by a speaker to hear!
It was so easy to book. The crew were all friendly and helpful. Entertaining for all ages. A great experience. Would certainly go again. Highly recommend.
Great watch with many whale breaches. Special thanks to Capt Ericka and Caroline the naturalist as they gave us a very memorable experience.
Started out slowly but by the end I was so glad we came. Whales are very special creatures and it was so fun to share the afternoon with them.
Stunning views of humpback whales on 22-DEC-2024, including several flukes and a pair of whale breeches! Highly recommend this experience.
Seeing the whales and watching how others on the boat reacted. Staff was very helpful and checked often to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves.
I was expecting to get skunked but we saw at least 10 sightings of 4 different whales! And the restaurant recommendations by the crew were amazing
Captain Lauren was phenomenal along with the entire crew. They were super friendly and fun. Captain Lauren is very knowledgeable and well spoken and truly gives a very engaging, interesting, and fun tour. The boat ride on this huge catamaran is very smooth cutting through three waves. My cup of water sat on the table the entire ride without spilling. We found a humpback and I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the whole experience. Thanks captain Lauren and crew.
Great speaker but would not get us close enough to see the whales. Other whale watchers were 3 times closer
Had a great weather day & boat ride… unfortunately we didn’t see any wildlife but we’re offered a free rain check next time we return.
I was pretty disappointed. This was much more of a passive whale watching trip than I expected. We really didn't leave the local area to go find the whales, but waited for whales to come to us, which limited how many whales we saw. The crew was great otherwise, very friendly. Our naturalist was very knowledgeable.
Great experience with friendly staff.. we saw four humpbacks and the captain let us stay a little longer to see them because we found them at the end of trip.
This was a great whale watching tour - the crew were the first to spot any whales and the skipper then positioned the boat to get a good view. The highlight was watching a juvenile breach in front of us - awesome!
The guide was very knowledgeable and in the end we were able to see several whales. Overall we enjoyed it very much
The crew aboard The Body Glove whale watching boat was fantastic. After checking in on the pier, we boarded the boat (folks move between upper and lower decks). Lower deck gets you vlose up shots and upper deck gets you distance viewing. Mayara (bartender) was welcoming and gracious. My family watched 2 pairs of mothers and calves just offshore. It was fantastic!
The crew was fantastic and very informative. We watched a calf with the mother ( humpback whale) for hours, and took some excellent pictures. The crew took great care of us and I highly recommend this excursion. We took this tour from a Princess Cruise ship. Loved it!!!
Our whale watching excursion with Body Glove was great! Our family enjoyed the wonderful snacks and drinks and were amazed at the beautiful whale we saw multiple times. The staff were very friendly and we would recommend this trip to anyone who has the opportunity to take it.
Had a great time, crew very friendly. Got to see about three whales and they came close to the boat! Definitely worth it!!!
Guide wasn’t knowledgeable and her voice was the most high pitched voice that made it hard to focus. The captain didn’t seem at all interested in getting on the whales. We followed it from a half a mile away and seemed to think just seeing blowhole air was enough. All other boats went ahead and waited for whales to come to them. Body Glove is a better dinner cruise or snorkeling boat.
We had a great time whale watching. We saw 5 whales in a group that hung around for quite awhile. A few of them surfaced right in front of the boat which was an awesome experience we will never forget!
