Big Island 9-line Zipline Experience Plus Private Waterfall Swim

Really awesome, fun and informational staff. The scenery was amazing, lots of free roaming cows, the waterfalls are so gorgeous to zip over.

The zip line was great, one of the best I’ve been on. I would give that 5 stars. Since you go straight to their property there is no long bumpy ride to get there. The facilities are great with spacious restrooms and a gift shop. Can buy food there as well. The waterfall swim gets a lower rating. Water is brown and murky and fairly cold for swimming. It is a nice little spot but probably not worth what you pay to hang out there. The sandwich lunch was fresh and well made so no complaints about that. Overall a great experience.

We had a great time the zip lining was fun so was the dip portion the kids loved it especially the kayaking and paddle boards

Zip line was really fun, it was a bit short, each line would take like 20 seconds… wish they were longer. The swim portion was whatever… you get to paddle around in a small pool formed by a small waterfall. Also you have to show up 45min before your tour, they leave 15min before your tour time. They didn’t tell us until 1.5 hours before our tour and we were already driving from Kona. They should have just put the start time as 45min prior instead of setting a time and then say 45min before in the last min.

Memory making experience. The best ziplining experience ever! The surrounding natural beauty, the zipping locations over waterfalls, the fun, safety consciousness staff, and the family friendly environment all contributed to this amazing experience. We had 3 first-timers in our group, including a 71-year old grandma, We came to the Big Island to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! This was one of the highlights of our trip!

The zipline and swimming adventure was great. They are very informative and helpful with anything that was needed during our trip. I felt very safe throughout the ziplining and the swim. The crew that helped with the zipline were so easy going and made everything fun and exciting. The views were amazing. We left the ziplining and headed to the swimming spot with Jake. He gave us the spots to avoid and where to jump off the cliff. The water was chilly but very beautiful spot.

Wonderful!! I'd only find zip lining once before and it was not the best experience. This redeemed my view on zip lining. The guides were amazing and the views miraculous! Then we did the swim by the waterfall. What an incredible experience. Highly recommend.

One of the most scenic ziplines I've ever been on! We had terrible rainstorm come through about 30 minutes into our tour. The guides did a great job continuing the tour. We embraced the rain and arrived at the end soaked to the bone but still smiling!!! Pro tip: bring a dry set of clothes just in case! 🤣

We absolutely loved every minute of this tour! The staff were incredibly fun and helpful. We enjoyed the zipline and waterfall swim combo, which was exhilarating. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and pristine. Plus, there's so much more to explore and do there.

My visit to The Umauma Experience on the Big Island was absolutely thrilling – hands down one of the highlights of my Hawaii trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating, going out of their way to make sure everyone felt comfortable and ready for the adventure, even helping with gear and answering all our questions with genuine enthusiasm. The entire park is gorgeous and extremely well-kept, with lush tropical gardens, pristine trails, and that perfect Hawaiian rainforest vibe that makes you feel immersed in paradise. But the real star is the zipline experience itself – wow, it was awesome! Soaring across the 9 lines over cascading waterfalls, the Umauma River, and with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Mauna Kea in the distance… it was pure magic. The lines are long and exciting (some dual for racing side-by-side!), and getting those close-up glimpses of the famous triple-tiered Umauma Falls was unforgettable. The suspension bridge added an extra fun element, and everything felt super safe with the professional guides. If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush combined with stunning natural beauty, this is a must-do. Highly recommend – I’ll be back next time I’m in Hawaii!

Such a fun experience!! Our kids will remember this always! Our guides were the best! Unfortunately, poor weather conditions resulted in us skipping a few lines, but we were refunded accordingly. Sad to miss those but safety was top priority and we appreciate that!

Although Zipline #4 was down our guides went out of their way to make sure we were well hydrated and even let us try some guava fruit. The private waterfall swim was awesome and Nick and Isaiah were very attentive and personable. Isaiah even sang some well known tunes in both English and Hawaiian.

The zips were fin and beautiful. The guides were great - fun, personable, encouraging, met everyone where they were at. The swim afterwards was very beautiful and refreshing- and nice to swim in fresh water for a change. It was a great day!

Absolutely fun filled day and we had a great time. Staff were excellent and friendly. We will coming back here soon! Loved every minute of it!

What an amazing adventure on the 9 course zip line follow by swimming at one of the water fall. Crew was amazing. Must do while on the Big Island.

First time ziplining for my boyfriend and I, we had the BEST time!!! Umauma Falls is one of my favorite places on the island, so choosing the Umauma Experience was a no-brainer. The guides were amazing and so is the staff at the visitors center. They welcomed us with open arms, were very courteous, and super knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back and do the ATV tours!

Staff was great with the everyone giving them a great experience. 2 thumbs way up for those that enjoy a bit of adventure.

The views were fantastic! Ziplining was exhilarating! We loved how there were tandem and individual lines of varied lengths and heights. Then we were able to cool off by swimming and paddle boarding by the waterfall after lunch. It was a perfect day!

This was AMAZING! First time ziplining, so much fun. Staff was excellent, made it all easy. Everyone was so nice and even in a big group it felt like a small group with everyone getting all the time they need. Spent time at the falls as well. Did the zip and dip. Swimming hole was beautiful and fun. So nice and refreshing after a warm morning. Hope to get to go again.

Our family of 4, including a 5 and a 9 year old, did the zip and dip tour. It was well-organized and I felt very safe during the tour. The staff were friendly and helpful and explained everything very well for our kids. They made it fun and entertaining and were interactive as well.

The zip lining was incredible - best we have ever done. The best line was over the river and waterfall. The waterfall/swimming spot was beautiful as well.

Swim/kayak experience not worth it. Small falls and water area. No room to kayak around. Lunch was not good… very basic sandwich. DO NOT TIP ONLINE. GUIDES DO NOT GET IT. COMPANY KEEPS IT.

Wonderful full day event with a nice ending swim and lunch. Wonderful experience. Bring mosquito repellent though.

The views over the falls and rivers were breathtaking. Just a disclaimer only 2 or 3 of the lines are over water. Despite this we had fun and the staff there are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this adventure to anyone.

My husband and adult kids (ages 18 and 20) did the Zip & Dip combo at the Umauma Experience - which included the zip lining tour of 9 zip lines (over waterfalls!) and then lunch and swimming/kayaking and paddle boarding in the river. I enjoyed walking around the beautiful gardens and seeing the waterfall, then joined my family for the lunch and water part of the day. We all had a terrific time! The staff was fabulous and so helpful! The kids said this was definitely the highlight of our trip for them.

Guides were fun and friendly. Gift shop was super helpful and had cool items. Swim portion was also great! Kayaking was just in a small pool below a waterfall, so nothing strenuous

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, just the right amount of thrill! It is was fun meeting others doing the zip line with us. Not physically strenuous at all.

The zip and dip tour was fun, and the guides were great. Beautiful views while zip lining, followed by a relaxing dip in the pond with toys to play with. Too bad 3 of the lines were down undergoing maintenance, but I was informed ahead of time. I would recommend.

Such a fun family experience! We loved the zip lines, as well as the swimming and lunch. We highly recommend the zip n dip combo. The guides are super helpful and make you feel safe.

The zipline was fun but the scenery is the star of this show. Views of the Pacific Ocean throughout the property as you are flying through the sky. Multiple waterfalls emerge as you zip across the canyons. We also chose the "dip" option which was fun as well. We were taken to a pool at the base of one of the waterfalls and able to swim, kayak, and paddle board for about 2 hours. This was a great day.

The tour guides were so friendly and provided top notch customer service. The experience itself was pricey because of the level of quality and experience. It was a big investment, but as my son said, "I bet this is the best thing we do all week," and I bet he will be right. 100% worth the price!

The Zip lines were surrounded by stunning, amazing & breathtaking views. The entire property was covered with beautiful Hawaiian vegetation, fruit trees & waterfalls!! Our Zip N’ Dip experience was amazing!! 9 Zip lines and swimming in ponds created by stunning waterfalls! An experience we’ll remember forever!!

The zip lining was fantastic! 9 different lines over amazing waterfalls and scenic countryside often with ocean views! The guides were wonderful and we all felt very safe. The zip lining did take an hour longer than we planned, which was a little frustrating and cut into our water play time. Nice lunch provided!! A+ for all of our guides. Great day, overall.

This was amazing. The guides were great, and the experience was a lot of fun. I highly recommend adding the lunch and dip in the water. The views are incredible.

First time doing the zip and dip, and we had a fantastic time! John, Rusty, and Skippy were excellent guides as we ziplined over gorgeous waterfalls! After we finished ziplining, they took us down to a private oasis along the river where we got to swim and paddleboard by one of the many waterfalls! 10/10 recommend!

The views, grounds, and facilities were amazing. Top notch! The people were so helpful and very kind! I was very nervous and they made the experience wonderful and were patient with me and my family! Isaac, Jon, Kip, Kaesan were the best! When we went to swim in the waterfall it was like a dream! Kayak and paddle board, lunch swimming and the most beautiful location. Alicia and Malia were awesome with checking in and hosting us at the waterfall swim portion of the trip! Setting up chairs, helping with Kayak and paddle boards and lunch! We made a memory that will last forever!

Loved the zip line! We’ve never gone on one before, it was great! The staff was so helpful and cheerful! It was fun going upside down.

Our guides were the best! Kip, Hunter and that other "K" fellow were a lot of fun and checked on everyone often two ensure we were all having a good time. The lines were AWESOME!!!! The views fantastic, length and height of the lines just right! We had a great time and were sufficiently worn out at the end. The swim portion was most welcome, as it was a sunny and warm day. Our 2 young men at the waterfall pool were excellent at making sure we had all we needed. Dang that water was cold!! It was very relaxing after the zip tour! It was the highlight for our 25th Anniversary! Thank you.

My husband and I took our 3 boys (ages 21, 19, & 17) for a 2 week Hawaiian vacation and this excursion tied for #1 with everyone's favorite experience. Umauma Experience is an amazing zipline company. Their gear is all heavy duty, top notch, and you can see they take safety very seriously. They also took the time to explain HOW the gear worked so you could understand that you truly are secure as you fly the air. The guides were extremely fun, smiling, talkative, and helpful. You could see they all love their jobs and truly care about giving you a wonderful experience. My husband and I have ziplined before and we had to control our own braking which I found to be a bit stressful. At Umauma, you do not have to do that. The guides control your speed as you finish each zip, giving you the freedom to just enjoy every second. The thrill of the zip, but also the beauty that surrounds you. The sites from the zips were stunning - views of the ocean, the gorgeous grounds of the company, waterfalls, wildlife and so many things. Each zipline included a sign telling you how long it is, as well as how high it is above the ground. The first 4 or 5 zips were tandem so your traveling buddy can zip down the line next to you, allowing you to enjoy it together. The remaining zips are single, but that doesn't diminish the fun at all. Everyone also enjoyed going across the suspension bridge - quite a lot of fun for those who haven't done one before. We had debated when booking on whether to add the Kayak/Dip portion to our ziplining. We ended up opting for it and were SO glad we did. The area that we went to was just stunning. The grounds surrounding the private lagoon area were so lush and beautiful. The freshwater of the lagoon was clear and offered excellent visibility over 20 ft deep. There were kayaks & stand up paddle boards available for us to use, as well as a cliff to jump off and a beautiful waterfall to take in (& listen to!). It was a beautiful area to sit and have the provided lunch (very good and sufficient!). When we make it back to Hawaii, we all agreed, this one is a 'MUST DO AGAIN' excursion!

My husband and I went for the zip and dip. It was so fun and so beautiful. The guides are awesome and funny. You can tell they love what they do. We would 100% go back!! The only thing I would complain about is our group was large 16 people I think. There was a good bit of standing around waiting. Would be quicker and more fun with about 10 people max.

Absolutely the dream! Very Hawaiian and awesome fun! The 9 ziplines we're fantastic and the swimming spot was fabulous and even had a jump rock! I hated to leave, but will be back to go horseback riding here also. Scenery beautiful and employees very friendly and fun.
