The tour guide Tylor is good, gets lots of sense of humor. Too bad we couldn’t get off for a couple spots due to Hurricane Nolo, otherwise it would be more fun.
Our driver Tyler was amazing! He was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining and this tour gave a fabulous overview of the island.
Sierra was excellent! Having grown up on Oahu, she knew all of the best viewpoints for our photo ops & kept us entertained with her banter. Her knowledge of the flora & sea life was enlightening.
First they wanted to change the date, but finally they send me a message that I will be picked up at the hotel between 9 and 9:30. I waited from shortly before 9 to shortly past 10, nobody showed up. Later they said that it was a pleasure to have me on that tour. When I complaint and wanted my money back they denied and said they tried to pick me up at 10:07??? Unacceptable!
Our tour guide Heather made our small group feel like family. As a group of 9 people from different parts of the world, we all seemed to connect. The blow hole was quite active with waves exploding through. A site to be seen!
Fun day! The tour guide had a good knowledge of the island and went out his way to make sure everyone on the tour had a good time.
Tylor was a great tour guide and driver. His local knowledge of various aspects of the island was amazing.
Wonderful time! Learned so much about Oahu. Our tour guide was beyond helpful. She was a joy to listen to and make us feel welcomed. We are thankful we had Malia
Great way to learn about Oahu’s history, activities to do such as hiking, beach spots and great sure. Tyler was a great tour guide.
Amazing sites, perfect way to see the island in one day. Beautiful island and amazing hospitality. Highly recommend
They changed the itinerary before the trip without telling anyone or telling me when I bought the tickets... I specifically told them that I wanted to go to the two locations, and they told me they would be going to them. The driver told me that the person who sold me the tickets knew that they would not be going to those locations... BEWARE!
The ride was comfortable……..
Had a lovely tour with Heather. Very informative , helpful and overall a positive experience.she went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable
This was a great tour. we loved seeing and hearing so much about the island. Our tour guide was amazing. She was friendly and welcoming and shared so much about her love for the island and all it offers. I would defiantly recommend this tour!
Such an amazing full island tour!! The Best part was our amazing tour guide, Captain Vince, who went over and above with his knowledge of the history of Hawaii, teaching us the language, & his humor, & making us feel like family!! He even took pics with ours & his own phone, that he shared with us. He Absolutely MADE this tour enjoyable & worth every minute!! You won't regret taking this tour & if you get Captain Vince you will have an Epic experience! Mahalo Nui Loa.
We had Christine as our guide and driver for the day. She was wonderful, informative and friendly. We enjoyed our tour.
The tour started in waikiki and traveled around the east side of O'ahu, to the north shore, and back through the center of the island. Along the way, Gregory (our guide) provided detailed explanations of everything we were seeing (all the trees, flowers, birds, and mountains), plus geologic descriptions of how the islands were formed and changed over thousands of years, AND included the history of the island (from King Kamehamea, his families, surfing, the wars, and the legendary Duke Paoa Kahanamoku). We also stopped for delicious, authentic Hawaiian food and coffees throughout the day. Buy the macadamia nuts - they're amazing. Loved the tour and Gregory's expansive knowledge of everything Hawaiian. [He's also great at taking photos!] Definitely worth the money.
Amazing! Tyler is the best guide, full of information!
This was an amazing trip around the island. Christine our guide was spectacular. She was very informative.
Our tour guide, Christine, was very informative. We had a wonderful time. Stopped at several places on the way for photo ops, Stopped at the macanut farm and dole plantation.
Tyler was a wonderful tour guide. His knowledge of the area was very valuable for us as it was our first time in Hawaii.
Christine was an outstanding guide and driver. Picked us up right on time. She is Incredibly knowledgeable! Learned about Hawaiian language, folklore and beautiful sites around the island. The time was well spent. Highly recommend!
Tyler was our tour guide and was very personable and knowledgeable. Your in the vehicle most of the time but the history was great
Nevin did an excellent job of guiding the tour and deserves a lot of credit for being so young and having such depth of knowledge...the only issue is that we stopped at too many tourist traps, but that's part of the experience.
had a great time, small group, great tour guide and awesome vehicle. really saw a lot. had plenty of time to see things and tour guide was so helpful and took a lot of pictures of us on our phone. really fun day. small group was nice and nice people.
With our guide Tyler, we took in the scenic views of the east and north shores of Oahu where we learned of the surfing culture and sites, Hawaiian culture and history with stops for coffee a fab shrimp lunch. Great day spent learning and laughing.
Tyler was great. We will recommend his tour to all our friends who visit Hawaii. I only wished that the bus werent so packed as there were people sneezing and coughing and we were packed in tight enough to get sick, too. No one wants to get sick while on vacation.
Great way to experience the island of O’ahu. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was plenty of space in the van.
Our tour guide Michelle was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and friendly. It would have been great to make a stop at a beach or a photo op of the mountains, but overall a great day and we had fun!
Hello, Tout guidé Heather was great,!but we spent must of the time in the van. Overpriced even with the discount. One beach stpp would be great with lunch. Included would give a better rate in regards to ratio product/price.
Our tour guide, Ciara (sp) was off the hook. Just like a big sista from the island with so much local and tour knowledge that I felt like I was out with family. Amazing job and the food was awesome!!
Our tour guide was amazing. We toured with a small group and it was so much fun. We saw so many amazing sights. We stopped for lunch at an amazing outside restaurant. It was a long day and we loved every moment.
Best most amazing invigorating, knowledgeable, beautiful smooth, clean air conditioned sophisticated tour I’ve ever encountered or been on in my life. Simply the best of the best. This was amazing overall experience, knowledgeable tour tour guide was excellent thank you so much.! I don’t believe there’s anything better than this! This was the highlight of my day on Oahu 😀 Waw I will let everyone know about this tour!
This tour was superb! Lucas did a great job providing us a very educational and at times light hearted tour. He’s a gem and is such a nice guy! We highly recommend this tour, especially with Lucas!
Thumbs up! Had a great driver and the group of people that was in the van with us was really fun. Enjoy!!
Took this trip with Tyler, our tour guide. Nice guy but his focus was mainly on surfing, best breaks, where he surfed and other local hangouts. Due to parking restrictions we didn’t make one stop at a North Shore beach, only getting brief glimpses between the houses. The half day tour along the south and east coast is a much better tour.
Our team leader lady was a great communicator, a warm hearted person with all of us and gave us valuable information!
This was a very fun tour! Tyler, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and engaging! We even go to see two whales breaching in north shore! :)
Tyler did a great job! Very informative. Great stops visiting all over Oahu and loved the fact that there were only 7 of us on a very nice van.
good introduction to the island so this tour should happen closer to arrival so then you can spend time in the places where you want to go
I'm changing my rating from terrible to average because I did receive 100% refund, even though the pickup location was botched. See my earlier review. The mystery now is who changed their mind about the refund? The provider or Trip Advisor? Thanks to whoever.
Tyler was great. Fun tour with a really good guide. Totally recommend. Saw lots of Oahu. Food stop was very good. Not too long.
The guide was not only knowledgeable but also an incredible storyteller, making every stop come alive with fascinating history and local insights. The flexible schedule allowed us to truly enjoy each destination without feeling rushed, which made the day so much more enjoyable. While it’s possible to rent a car and explore on your own, you’d be missing out on the depth of the island's culture and the hidden gems that this tour provides. Without the guide, you’d just drive past spots that are well worth stopping for but wouldn’t even know about. If you want to experience the best of Oahu, learn about its history and culture, and make the most of your time, this tour is absolutely the way to go. Highly recommend it!
Just seeing the water was the best part for me. The tour guide was very informative and accommodating.
This was the best tour very accommodating for our last minute booking , The staff when booking was amazing. Very polite checked in with us and still going out of their way to make sure we are good , I couldn’t have been more happier. We got the most Amazing tour guide , he was an angel , Lucas was wonderful, bless his heart he was polite , respectful and went out of his way to show us everything. Making sure we are okay . Checking in all the time great conversation we had so much laughs and shared our cultures it felt like we have know him forever , he made our experience lovely and it was worth it. Overall our experience was amazing
We did a small guided bus tour which was great as there was only 10 of us on board. Tyler our driver was full of local knowledge and had a great sense of humour. We saw the different sides to Oahu, stopped at all the lookouts, visited a macadamia farm but our highlight was the pineapple farm. Delicious!
Lucas, was so knowledgeable and funny. I enjoyed the tasty lunch, stopping to see the beach views and riding through the different parts of the island where the residential houses and island folks outside of the tourists area. Overall the tour was amazing and worth it! Thanks Lucas for being so kind and sociable.
Lucas....was our host and did a fantastic job. He was funny, interacting, informative, and knowledge. Please check him and his tour out!!
The driver/guide was knowledgeable and informative, but his voice often trailed off inaudibly. His lame humor (beeping the horn to celebrate his bad jokes) got old fast. He said when the trip started that he’d be quizzing us on things we’d learned, but instead, his quiz questions were about things he hadn’t taught us. We’d look at each other in puzzlement – how should we know? You’d think he’d take a cue from the group's silence, but he kept doing it. I must echo a complaint I’ve seen in other reviews of this tour. The driver announced that because we were behind schedule, instead of getting lunch from our choice of food trucks on the north shore, we all had to order ahead from a shrimp restaurant and he passed around a menu. I hate shrimp. He said he had to collect payment from us… in cash (in this day and age)? If there are no unanticipatable delays (and there weren’t for us), it’s up to the guide to keep on schedule. His poor time management was to blame for this. My hunch is that this was his intention all along. Besides a half-dozen shrimp dishes, there was a single chicken choice. Mine was undercooked and awful; I could only pick at it. A waste of $20. The no-choice lunch put a damper on the whole tour for me. I put what was going to be the guide’s tip toward my inedible lunch.
