Beautiful Colors Of Hawaii Photo Tour

I just got back to our hotel and couldn’t wait to sit down and write a review for Mila and this excursion! We had a phenomenal time and learned so much. The group we went with (5 total) really enhanced the experience, especially Mila’s love and knowledge of the island. I wish we had another excursion booked with her!

I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide! He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, even taking us to an extra spot to enjoy some delicious shaved ice. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, shared interesting facts, and clearly knew all the best spots. His thoughtfulness and passion made the tour that much more enjoyable. We truly appreciated his efforts and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Day was great even though weather was rainy. Mila was a fantastic guide and we were able to have great conversations throughout the day. She took great pics of us at all the stops as well. We didn’t feel like the day was diminished by the weather as just one stop there was no visibility. Thanks Mila!!

Great tour of the most incredible views on Oahu! If you are lucky enough to get Kurt as your tour guide, you will never forget this tour. I have been on a cruise ship for two months and I have taken almost 2 dozen tours, and this was my favorite! You will have a great time!

This is our second time taking this tour. We just happen to draw Andrew again as our tour guide. (We took this tour 3 years ago with Andrew and highly impressed then) He is excellent, knows his photography, knows his city and state. Full of information. Would highly recommend to anybody wanting to see the sites through their camera lens

This is our second photography tour with Andrew. The tour is excellent and Andrew is very knowledgeable, funny, and knows photography. He always gives camera pointers, and takes great photos of all the travelers on his tour.

Andrew was AMAZING! His friendliness, knowledge of the island, storytelling, and sense of humor was FANTASTIC! He was so welcoming and easy going. This was the second time we have gotten Andrew, and he remembered us from three years ago, as well as still had photos of us from then. That was so neat! I hope we get him next tour we take! Highly recommend!

Andrew was attentive and friendly. While showing my friend and I around the island, he also gave us tips on how to take better photos. He even took nice pictures of us!

Pickup was on time. The stop at Leonard's Bakery was a special treat. We believe that Andrew was a wizard because the rain stopped for us at every photo opportunity. We also learned some valuable information from him about taking photos with our phones. Lunch at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli was amazing. The views were amazing and obviously well planned, a great experience. Well worth the cost.

This was a great excursion where the stops provided extraordinary locations for photos with stunning views. Kurt, our guide who is a professional photographer, was a blast to spend the day with and made our experience a memorable one. He provided a wealth of information about the island of Oahu and more specifically the areas we visited. He made us feel welcome and all 6 people in his Mercedes coach shared in the conversations throughout the day. This trip was well worth it!

This is a wonderful tour to take if you want some excellent photos in Oahu. Our guide Andrew B. Was so knowledgeable and he was full of great photography tricks that we could use with our I-phone cameras. It was a 5 hour tour which started with a stop at a fried dough truck where we each got a delicious treat of fried dough that was to die for. Andrew then bought use each a large bottle of water and we were on our way. We made several stops then stopped and had a delicious lunch at a wonderful restaurant and continued on with our tour. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to have great photo memories of their trip to Hawaii. It’s a must do on your trip.

Andrew Berkowitz was our tour guide. He picked my husband and I up at the Honolulu Zoo exactly where he said he would and on time. The van was clean and air conditioned. Our first stop was for a delicious fried pastry that was purchased by the tour and Andrew also bought us nice big cold bottles of water. The rest of the day we stopped at many beautiful sites for photo opportunities where Andrew taught us tricks for taking great pictures with our phones and he also took great photos of us with his professional camera which he sent to us for free. The overall experience was over the top! Andrew is a gem and an experienced tour guide. This tour is worth every penny.

I had an amazing time. Andrew, our guide, made this tourone if the best tour since my time in Waikiki. Andrew was very knowledgeable about the area, history and photography. Loved the tips he provided on taking selfies and panaromic photos with your phone. I will definitely take another tour with this company on my next trip back and hope to have Andrew as my guide. We’ve just come back from a tour with Oahu Photo Tours, and honestly, what a day! Our guide was Malcolm (Mac), who was brilliant from start to finish. Pick-up was bang on time, the vehicle was absolutely spotless, and because it was a small group, the whole day felt relaxed and personal rather than like being herded around on a big coach. Our first stop was just outside town for a fresh doughnut — and when I say fresh, I mean fresh! Along with the doughnut there was the opportunity to grab a drink and use the restroom before we headed on. As we got out into the suburbs, we started seeing some absolutely spectacular properties, many of them right on the oceanfront. Some were in the region of $6.2 million, and when you saw the views, you could understand why. They were simply stunning. And this was the Hawaii I had imagined before we came — incredible coastline, beautiful scenery and that feeling of being somewhere really special. It was such a contrast to Waikiki, which is very commercialised, busy and full of hotels and tourists. This tour really showed us another side of Oahu, and if you want to get away from Waikiki and see the real Hawaiian landscape, I’d definitely recommend doing this tour. Mac also takes loads of photographs throughout the day, which is a really nice touch. He shares them afterwards in different ways, including AirDrop and email, so you come away with some great memories without having to spend the whole day trying to take photographs yourself. He was also incredibly helpful with Linda, helping her on and off the vehicle whenever needed, and he had a great sense of humour throughout the day. Nothing seemed too much trouble. And then came my moment of stupidity! I somehow managed to leave my phone behind. By the time we got back to the Moana Surfrider, I realised what I’d done and went back looking for it. And there was Mac — actually parked outside the hotel, phone in hand, waiting to return it to me! You couldn’t ask for better service than that. A great tour, a fantastic day and, most importantly, a great guy as our guide. Thanks, Mac, for making our day out on Oahu so memorable. Andrew & Linda ❤️

One of the best tour experiences we’ve had! We were able to visit so many popular scenic spots while also discovering some amazing local gems. Our tour guide, Andrew, was AMAZING! We were a group of girls celebrating a bachelorette, and he made us feel safe, comfortable, and completely accommodated the entire time. He also made sure we had plenty of photo opportunities for our bride and the whole group, and the photos came out SO good! He even gave us helpful photography tips and tricks along the way, which was such a nice bonus. Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. You can tell he really knows the area and cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. Overall, an outstanding tour and an even better tour guide. 10/10! Andrew did amazing being our tour guide for our party of 9 (celebrating a bachelorette party)! We learned so much from him regarding the history of Oahu and photo taking skills/trends. Andrew also helped prioritize what was important to us (good food, good views, and amazing photos) to remember it all. We did a private tour with Andrew for Beautiful Colors of Hawaii Tour and it was AMAZING! We booked it for my sister’s bachelorette party and it was so nice of them to accommodate a group of 9 when contacting them directly. Andrew went above and beyond to really cater to our group’s preferences, being interactive, and was overall such an amazing experience. We all had so much fun and was a highlight of our trip! We booked the Beautiful Colors of Hawaii Photography Tour for my bachelorette trip and we had the best time with our guide, Andrew. Our private tour was personalized to the photos and places we wanted to see and Andrew did an amazing job making sure the trip was smooth and took the most amazing Insta-worthy photos of me and my girls on this trip! He also had a lot of educational information and we learned so much on our tour about the island as well. Highly recommend Andrew as a guide! Also, huge shout out to the company and Alex for being so flexible and letting our group use the bigger van for an added person. We stopped for some yummy malasadas included on our tour and Andrew took us to a lunch spot where we got to buy some yummy food. The van was clean and comfortable and the AC kept the van at a cool temperature in this hot humid weather.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Kurt, took us to beautiful public scenic outlooks as well as some great areas known only by the locals. His photography skills helped us to take some amazing pictures. After our tour, he sent us a link to a large number of photos he took of us, and the locations we visited. Now we have pictures of us in Oahu's most beautiful locales and theyre NOT selfie! Kurt's stories brought Oahu to life for us. He's an excellent tour guide and photographer.

Drove in a very nice, comfortable van. Emily was a great and courteous driver. She showed us how to take gorgeous pictures as well as took pictures of us. Showed us around some great local spots. We laughed and made great memories for our family.

Kurt was the BEST tour guy…he has an amazing personality, lots of knowledge about the island-treated us to donuts, took us to a delicious place for lunch and taught us how to take clear, unique pictures of the beautiful island.
