Best experience of the trip so far. Our tour guide Heather was knowledgeable and accommodating. She took very good care of us and showed us sites we would not have seen in a big group.

This is a MUST DO tour while in Oahu! I definitely recommend requesting Matthew as he was awesome, knowledgeable and a history buff. We spent 7 hours learning so much about the beautiful island and seeing everything we had requested to see on this incredible private tour. Book it!

This tour was a real adventure, Nazia was an amazing tour guide. She helped us tailor where we went to get the most wow for our time. She had loads of insight and knew of so many great little things that took it to the next level. She was by far the best tour guide we've ever had.

Matthew is the most amazing guide! If you are lucky enough to get him, you're in for one of the best days ever. We've been coming to Oahu for years, but I learned so much of the history, and so much of the splendor, of this place on this fun, informative and relaxing tour. Our guide, Sierra was the best part of our experience. We learned the real history and truth about Hawai’i from a native with the passion for this land and the Aloha spirit they was both touching and educational. The tour was beautiful and we enjoyed every moment of the history, culture and views presented to us. A truly life changing experience!

This tour was amazing and you absolutely need to request Matthew as your tour guide as he is the best! He totally tailored this tour to what we wanted to do and see and was able to fit everything in, plus more! He is so knowledgeable about Hawaii, the history or Oahu and all the secret ins and outs. He even deploys his drone and gets great footage of you. We had a blast and made it all over the island. The van was plush, clean and spacious. Highly recommend this tour and Matthew!

I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise that stopped in Honolulu 10/8/2023 and because this was my 2nd trip to the island my wife and I wanted to see something different, so we booked a private tour on 9/19/2023 that we were told was completely customizable for us. On 10/5/2023, we were already on the ship headed towards Honolulu, I received an email from Daniels Tours informing us they had a driver shortage and would not be able to fulfill the private tour we booked. They offered a semi-private tour that included many of the sights we have already visited. That was not acceptable to us. This was very disappointing. If I had know that this was a possibility I would have had time to have a contingency plan in place.

My wife and I were in Ohau for a cruise . We decide to take a tour before the cruise and one after. We booked tours with just a guide and us. Our guides were Sierra and Ethan. Sierra took the North Shore and Ethan took the South Shore. Both guide were great and a lot fun. The cars were big, clean , and comfortable. The guides knew a lot about each site. They took us to great food trucks when we wanted to eat lunch. They were perfect additions to a great vacation

The private tour is the way to go. We did several stops and our tour guide was awesome. Highly recommend daniels tours, top notch service.

This tour was FABULOUS! My family was so lucky to have Sierra for the day. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had an incredible experience. We visited beaches, including Turtle Beach (our favorite), fruit market, macadamia nut farm, and stopped throughout other fun places. She taught us a lot about the island and the history of the island. I can not recommend this tour enough. It’s worth every penny and then some. We will definitely do this tour again—-and request Sierra!!!

I booked this tour thru Viator. My best friend and I went on the private tour with Matthew on Friday, July 28. Matthew is an amazing tour guide. He even allowed us to customize the itinerary to our liking (we added Waimea Valley and Byodo-In Temple) There are no words to describe the fact that we had such a great time. It was a fantastic experience. We were picked up at 9am on the dot by Matthew and he dropped us off around 4pm. It was plenty of time to see some of the point of interests. It was just my best friend and I. Matthew was accommodating to our needs, he offered water and if we needed to go to the bathroom or eat something on the way, he was more than willing to make a pit stop for us. Had booked a 6 hour private island tour and was definitely not disappointed. Plenty of opportunities to take great pictures around the island. Christine was super knowledgeable about the history of the island and its people and just great tour guide and company. Her recommendations for which places to visit and where to stop for taking pictures were great, did take loads of photos. Definitely a great experience. Thanks a lot!

we had a wonderful guide named Jenny she was very polite and knowledgeable. The vehicle was very clean and very comfortable Jenny first asked if there was anything in particular we wanted to see but we said we would leave it to her ,she didn't disappoint. would gladly recommend this tour.

All the fabulous views of the ocean were beautiful. Stopping at Leonard's Bakery was a definite plus, and Jenny was very nice to go back for us to do so. Dole Pineapple was great and although it was not an official stop, Jenny drove us to the Byoda-in Temple, which we requested and was well worth it! It's great that this tour could be customizable. My only problems with this tour was it was very difficult for a short person to climb up into this van, and two, the outside and windows of the van were dirty and should have been washed before our tour began.

What a great day! The private tour is the way to go! You can spend as much or as little time as you want at each stop. Daniel was a fun tour guide. We carried on nonstop conversation and laughs! Highly recommend! Thanks Daniel!

Jenny was great, vehicle was very clean and well maintained. Our main destination was Pearl Harbor, she got out and walked us in and showed us where to go. After we got through at PH she was right on time picking us up. At her suggestion we toured several great places to sightsee. Saw some whales and some great scenery.

Decided on a last minute guided driving tour of Oahu but didn't really know what we wanted to see aside from doing a quick snorkeling stop somewhere during the day. Decided on a private tour for maximum flexibility. Booking through the Daniels website was very easy and luckily we were able to secure a tour date two days in advance. Contacting the company was a breeze - we let them know we didn't have any set plan aside from snorkeling and they were able to accommodate. We met Johnny our guide at our Waikiki hotel and gave us multiple options on what wanted to do our tour with the goal of getting a snorkeling stop in. The plan he developed was just what we wanted - a scenic tour of the island away from Waikiki. The car was comfortable and Johnny is a wealth of knowledge - he not only showed us some breathtaking spots of the island, but also had excellent knowledge about Hawaii including the history, the fauna, food, and much more! We ended our day taking a dip in the north part of the island, where we got our snorkeling in - a great end of the day! Having Johnny as a guide was like having a close family member give you a personal tour of the island - couldn't ask for someone more caring and passionate about Oahu! Thanks for a great time!

Sierra provided the most amazing tour for my 15yo son and I. She’s a local, young and vibrant woman who went above and beyond to make the tour exceptional and memorable! We only had 2 days layover in Hawaii and we were jet lagged. Sierra’s private tour worked perfectly to cover our interests and time constraints. She went above and beyond to make it personalized for me and a teen boy. He will always cherish and remember that awesome day! She went out of her way to get us a few things at a small local shop and a special product which I loved! It was nice to see and hear info from a local’s perspective. Our cultural guide- Sierra- was amazing! During our tour she had richly detailed stories about the history and culture of the island, and with a flair for storytelling. She answered questions in depth and left us with new appreciation for the beautiful island and its people. And the Garlic Butter Shrimp was beyond delicious!

Arriving in Waikiki after 26 hours traveling from Germany we started next morning a superb amazing tour with our guide Christine from our hotel at Waikiki beach. She showed us the main spots around the Island to give us newbies in Hawaii a very first impression with a lot of historical background. She did a great job! No rushing, very professional and contemporary she showed us Waikiki, the old swimming sea-side pool, Diamant Head, various very nice beaches, driving us all around the Island to the Byodo Temple, a special request of us, the turtle beach, cool food truck places and where the best shrimps are served - delicious! And all the way up to the very top of the Island, coffee plants and back to the hotel. It was a really informative and fabolous tours that kept us fully awake each second - not easy but true. Next day we had a 2nd tour planned so read the next review coming....

Sierra was a wonderful, fun, & informative guide, she taught us more about Hawaii’s history and the native Hawaiians in one day than I’d learned in my 10 previous visits to Hawaii. The tour covered so many beautiful spots, and it was nice to let someone else do the driving while seeing & learning things we never would have on our own. We felt very lucky to have spent the day with Sierra & we highly recommend this private tour.

An awesome day that provided an excellent insight into Hawaii’s history. Visiting Pearl Harbour was very humbling and a step back in time. Our visit to the palace was unexpected and having the knowledge from our tour guide Evan Kainalani was brilliant. Evan filled in a lot of gaps in my knowledge about the history of Hawaii and its culture. If you are short on time then I highly recommend this tour, and if you are lucky enough to get Evan as your guide then you are in good hands. We took this tour due to the recommendations and were not let down. Enjoy!

We had a fabulous experience on this informative and super well paced tour of the island. I didn’t know what to expect but our guide Santiago was such a gracious and helpful host and immediately made us feel at ease. Santiago offered a great itinerary that felt exciting but never overwhelming or exhausting, and most importantly, took into consideration our preferences and style. He totally made the experience worth it. Many Scenic stops plus visits to temple and other key sites were 100%. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great snapshot of the oahu through a private tour!

We went primarily to the North shore to see the surfing sports made famous over the past 50 -60years. We had Santiago who was our guide. Santiago was very knowledgeable and a surfer so we could relate to the surfing spots. he showed different interesting Hawaiian sites on the way up to the North Shore and the way back on the east side of the island. He would give good information short and concise. Not rambling on like some tour operators liking the sound of their own voice. It was a very good day, Santiago added to the experience, I would do it again.

We had such a good time on Oahu, made extra special by Evan whose knowledge and love of Hawaii and its culture really brought our experience to life! He also tailored our tour exactly to our requests, nothing was too much trouble. Learnt lots about the history and culture, and saw some truly beautiful scenery. We are highly traveling couple and I would decided to get a private tour of the island which I do recommend. You don’t have to wait for the bus is in the extra people, and be on their schedule. We stayed as long as we wanted at all the areas. He showed us about 10 things on the island with about three or four that you wouldn’t see on a group tour. Santiago killed it! I even bought him a Dole whip! We saw North Shore, blowhole , several private beaches He took pictures of us at every stop! He’s a wiz at these islands and I highly recommend you asked for him! Great trip! Our guide Santiago was fantastic, from airport pickup to drop off, with several private tours in between to Pearl Harbor and the North Shore. Communication was great, and he arrived on time in a clean, comfortable vehicle. Santiago was very knowledgeable of the area, providing lots of interesting information, but also asking us questions to make sure he catered the trips to our interest. Mahalo!

The tour guide was nice enough but didn't work very hard to give us a good tour. Used a mini-van with tinted windows making it hard to enjoy the scenery. Didn't stop much. Not worth the money that we spent to do it. Would not recommend it. Our biggest regret of our entire trip to the islands.

Our guide Sierra was great! Extremely knowledgeable about all things Hawaii and share some great insight into Hawaiian culture. We were able to visit everywhere we wanted to (Khalil Ranch, North Shore, food trucks, Dole Plantation and more!). Definitely recommend this tour.
