⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Experience with Brian – Highly Recommend! We had such a wonderful experience with Aloha Sunshine Tours! Brian was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! He went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, sharing great local tips and recommendations for things to explore on our own while visiting Oahu. One of the highlights was a stop at the famous Leonard’s Bakery, a local favorite, where we got to enjoy a delicious Hawaiian treat before heading to Pearl Harbor. Such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special! Brian’s warm personality, helpful advice, and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were exploring the island with a local friend rather than just taking a tour. If you're visiting Oahu, I highly recommend Aloha Sunshine Tours, and definitely ask for Brian! He helped make our visit memorable! 🌺🌴

Itinerary
At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, you can explore various exhibits that provide historical context about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. View a 23-minute documentary film that provides an overview of the attack, its impact, and the significance of the USS Arizona Memorial After the introductory exhibits and film, you will board a U.S. Navy-operated boat for a short ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The 10-minute ride across the harbor is calm and offers views of the surrounding military installations Admission tickets to the attractions on your tour will be provided by your guide on the day of your tour
The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war
Walk the deck of the last battleship the US ever built in footprints of General MacArthur and Admiral Chester Nimitz. It was on the deck of the Missouri in 1945 that the Instrument of Surrender was signed ending WWII. The guided deck tour includes viewing officer and crew quarters, artillery, a kamikaze aircraft crash, and a Surrender ceremony.
The only land-based memorial at Pearl Harbor, the USS Oklahoma Memorial honors the more than 400 servicemen who lost their lives aboard the ship during the flurry of attacks on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Second only in casualties to the USS Arizona on that fateful day, the Oklahoma Memorial on Ford Island.
On the historic downtown Honolulu portion of the tour, you will experience a blend of Hawaii's rich history, cultural heritage, and modern city life all narrated by our expert guide
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific sits on top of extinct volcano also known as Punchbowl. The cemetery is the final resting place for thousands of U.S. military members. The beautifully maintained grounds feature rows of white headstones set against lush greenery. The location of Punchbowl Crater offers stunning views of the surrounding city, including downtown Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the coastline
The only royal palace in the United States. You will learn about Hawaii's monarchy, and hear stories about King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarchs.
From the palace you will view the iconic King Kamehameha Statue, a symbol of Hawaii's unity and strength. The statue is in front of the Aliʻiōlani Hale, the historic building that now houses the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Our guide will "talk story" of the fascinating history as the original government building of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Often referred to as the "Westminster Abbey of the Pacific," Kawaiahaʻo Church is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Hawaii. Our guide will teach you about the church’s significance and its role in Hawaii’s religious history.

The best part was our driver Brian. We love him! He was a blast!!! The best ever!!!!!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our tour Battleship tour! Our driver, Will, was fantastic! He as full of information and had lots of energy and personality! I’m so glad we changed our tour to be with Aloha Sunshine! We did a private Road to Hana tour with them on Maui a week ago and it was outstanding, as well!
Summer was excellent in every way. Great driver and tour guide.
Best combination tour. Will was outstanding in every aspect Will was on time, prepared, informative, organized, helpful and fun. Best tour we've been on! Ask for Will!
Our guide was LeleMaya and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and fun as well. The tour was tailored perfectly and the timing was very good. All my family enjoyed the tour very much. Strongly suggest.
Excellent tour, very well organised tour guide (Summer). We loved both the Pearl Harbour visit and the tour of historic Honolulu.
Lots of info and driver was very knowledgeable on everything that we saw and all of the info he gave us on the way to the battleships.
This tour is perfect if you are not interested in the big tour bus. Smaller groups made interaction with the tour guide more personal. Will was very engaging and full of facts on our journey. I would give this higher than a 5 star!
There a lot to see here. You could spend the whole day exploring. Very emotional. Your bus driver was funny and informative on the ride too and from Pearl Harbor.
Our tour guide Will was amazing. He knew so much about the history of Pearl Harbor and Hawaiian culture. We did the Pearl Harbor and city tour. He told stories in a way that kept guests of all ages engaged. He was funny and informative at the same time. We loved Will!
Summer was amazing! They are well educated on Hawaii. We thought they were great. Drive very professionally at all times. I still can't get over how educated Summer is about Hawaii.
Summer was an amazing guide.Gave great info and had great knowledge on everything. Made the tour fun and interesting. Pearl Harbor was touching heart felt and infomative.
Tour guide Summer is very knowledgeable and friendly! I enjoyed the tour very much. This is my third time seeing Pearl Harbor and it was just as powerful. Thank you!
Summer was our tour guide and did an excellent t job of informing us where we were, when to report, keeping track of us. So much knowledge of the islands and Hawaiian culture 🌺🤙 As far as the tour company notification it would have been so much more helpful to include a little more “where to report” info, as there were many busses picking up at Pier 2 and an “aloha shirt with black pants” could be anyone. Signage would be helpful. An added and very welcome plus was a light snack and ice cold water! Mahalo Summer
Summer did a great job providing history and cultural facts. Great tour, got to see a lot. The Arizona was very moving, the Missouri was fascinating . It’s a lot packed into one day!
Summer was great and a hoot. We were impressed with all of her knowledge. She was very accommodating and interesting to listen to. Great value
Summer and Junior were the loveliest and most knowledgeable tour guides, and made this tour such a memorable experience!
The tour driver was very friendly and very knowledge about the history of the Hawaiian islands and the history of the pearl harbor attack
Papa P made the tour pleasant. He was very informative and friendly. Only tour guy with the snacks! Too bad Pearl Harbor memorial was under maintenance. Despite that he made up for it with other mini stops for fresh fruits and snacks/ dessert
I loved the exhibits and the tour guide was awesome. He told us little known facts about Hawaii and played the ukulele and sang for us.
The tour was fantastic, informative, and reverential. We came away with tremendous respect for the soldiers then and now and their commitment and sacrifices. Our tour guide Summer, was a delight from the moment we started. She educated on the history of WW II, Pearl Harbor, and the background of Polynesia and Hawaii. She serenaded an anniversary couple (What a beautiful voice!!!). She even treated us to subtle graceful hula moves! I cannot say enough about this talented and gifted guide. Perfect for welcoming travelers to the demonstration of aloha and ohana for which Hawaii is known. Very gifted and knowledgeable and forever to be a cherished memory of our time on the island of Oahu. A wonderful tour and a top notch guide! 5 stars! Thank you very much or, Mahalo nui loa!
We found the Battleship of WWII at Pearl Harbor very interesting. Booking was easy with great communication from the tour company. Our guide (I don't remember his name) was not friendly and was rude to some of the participants on the tour. Otherwise, he was knowledgeable. Those who helped us book the tour were vey friendly and helpful!
It was a beautiful day we enjoyed the trip, there was a lot of history at Pearl Harbor My entire family enjoyed it so much, our guide and bus driver was very nice and give us a lot of information on the area.
My husband and I really enjoyed our Pearl Harbor experience and the tour of the city. Most of all our tour guide Summer. Thank you for the greatest vacation ever!
All the historical sight were great. Anthony, our driver, was very informative and entertaining. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting.
complete, interesting tour. On time. Good guide for transfer. Unfortunately, because we are european and not US citizen, we didn't have discounted rate.
Very pleased with the securing of tickets for the Arizona and Missouri in advance. This is very important in order to see the many elements to see in Pearl Harbor. The city tour of Honolulu in the afternoon was very informative. Strong recomendation for this tour company in their professionalism in communicating with you and the locals that lead each tour.
I hoped that someone would accompany us during all of our activities. But we had to visit most of the places of our own. A tour guide is essential during such type tours on historical sites
We were picked up at our hotel by Jorge, who preceeded to enlighten us with some history of Hawaii as we traveled to the Pearl Harbor Museum. Also included was a boat ride to and from the Arizona Memorial. Toured the rest of the Museum on our own until we were picked up. More historical sites and narration back to our hotel followed. A very enjoyable though somber day.
Our tour at Pearl Harbor helped us understand the gravity of that day when the US was attacked. My dad served in the Pacific with the US Navy in WWII, so we had a special interest in what we were seeing. The tour was informative, interesting, and thought provoking.
A full day of emotions and amazing sights. How interesting to be in a place with so much historic significance. I even found out where my father was stationed a while after the invasion.
Our day on the Pearl Harbour tour was fantastic. The guides and layout gave a complete history of events coupled with the solemn reminder of the toll at the memorial. A must do for anyone visiting this beautiful island.
We only had a few days in Honolulu before our cruise and wanted to make the most of our time. Seeing Pearl Harbor was really important to us. Your tour allowed us to see it all. Our guide was enthusiastic and entertaining. He shared his knowledge and insights. Thank-you!
A fab tour with knowledgeable driver and guide, Summer. A good balance of being shown and directing yourself. We learned heaps.
We had a great time- the weather was a bit overcast and sprinkling at first but it ended up being a great day, we had good guidance on where to start and reasonable timelines. Very knowledgeable and took time to slow down to point out monuments and highlight areas downtown. Would recommend, Summer was great!
This tour was amazing. We got so much information, and the pictures were plentiful. I want to applaud our guide on Missouri, she was funny and informative. I also want to give a shout out to our driver/tourguide Summer! She was quite informative and helpful.
Everything went as planned. On time pick up our guide, Summer, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend it it’s a half day well spent
Summer was wonderful! She was extremely knowledgeable and even provided chilled water and clear plastic bags for people who forgot about the no bags policy at the park. We are so glad we chose this tour! It was an interesting day. Thank you, Summer!
Comfortable shoes, sunglasses.. Our guide had plenty of water which is a must. Only clear bags/clear purse at Pearl Harbor or just have phone and wallet in your pockets.
