Itinerary
At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center you can explore various exhibits that provide historical context about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. View a 23-minute documentary film that provides an overview of the attack, its impact, and the significance of the USS Arizona Memorial. After the introductory exhibits and film you will board a U.S. Navy-operated boat for a short ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The 10-minute ride across the harbor is calm and offers views of the surrounding military installations
The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack. Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface. Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war.
On the historic downtown Honolulu portion of the tour, you will experience a blend of Hawaii's rich history, cultural heritage, and modern city life all narrated by our expert guide
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific sits on top of extinct volcano also known as Punchbowl. The cemetery is the final resting place for thousands of U.S. military members. The beautifully maintained grounds feature rows of white headstones set against lush greenery. The location of Punchbowl Crater offers stunning views of the surrounding city, including downtown Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the coastline
The only royal palace in the United States. You will learn about Hawaii's monarchy, and hear stories about King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarchs.
From the palace you will view the iconic King Kamehameha Statue, a symbol of Hawaii's unity and strength. The statue is in front of the Aliʻiōlani Hale, the historic building that now houses the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Our guide will "talk story" of the fascinating history as the original government building of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Often referred to as the "Westminster Abbey of the Pacific," Kawaiahaʻo Church is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Hawaii. Our guide will teach you about the church’s significance and its role in Hawaii’s religious history.

Our guide, Will, was most helpful in giving us tips and guidance to get through Pearl Harbor Memorial efficiently and make the best use of our time. Entertaining and informative!
Will was our driver and the best guide ever!
Great time and well informed by Leena .. Would recommend her as your Guide as she would tell you interesting stories and explained in detail wherever we go. We would recommend you to prepare a clear (see through) backpack or clear; see-through tote bag to enter the area; to hold your belongings in.
Well first the company cut our tours. They didnt take everywhere they supposed to. And we didnt get any notification or emails about it. Second they add couple extra things on the list which is 1 of is food. Horrible food choice. Basically everything is half cooked and we only have 15mins to get food eat and back on bus. Most of us have to finish the food in bus. Not a good idea. Second the tour guide was rude. She have attitude problem. Driving is rough. She forgets people sitting at the back jumping in the potholes is ok for the driver not the passenger at the back seats we didnt have enough time at lots of places. Especially at dole plantation which is pretty famous in Honolulu. Where we only have 20mins to spend cos they closing at 5.30 we arrived 5.10pm it was waste of money with tour company. I have been to same company around usa. But this was the terrible experience.
Summer was an excellent tour guide, informative and friendly!!
William was awesome, I had always wanted to go to pearl. I felt like I got to see everything and it was already included.
We had an excellent experience with Will as our guide! From pick up at the airport that morning until we were dropped off that evening, Will provided entertainment and information the entire day!
Our travel guide Will was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the history of what happened at all our stops at Pearl Harbor!
Summer was our driver/guide and was great! Bus was a bit warm and a long day, but well worth it and learned a lot about Oahu.
First time in Hawaii. I’m glad we booked this tour and our tour guide Summer was really knowledgeable and very kind . She is the best tour guide. I really enjoyed this trip. I really recommended her.
Summer was well versed and very knowledgeable in the history of Hawaii which made the Experience well worth it the trip.
JR did a great job! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all of our questions and was very reliable. Super safe and got us where we needed to go and when we needed to be there
I started being upset when during the start of the day Papa P wanted us to meet him at 0630 HRS. I thought that he was being rude to me considering that the ship will only let us disembark at 0730 HRS ( which is also our Viator contract ). On the contrary, big compliments to him of his skill as a driver and big KUDOS on him being our tour guide. I’ll take Viator again on my next trip when I come back to the islands. Cecilio Dumlao
We had an amazing time on the Battleships Tour with Summer and Junior. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would recommend requesting them when you book.
I Would definitely recommend to anyone. One of our best experience! Summer was great a caring person and fun. Worth it the time!
My wife and I had toured the Arizona Memorial in the past but brought our three teens this time. Our flight was arranged to fly from Maui and we were promply picked up by our tour guide, Summer. She was so detailed and knowledgeable of the history of Honolulu and WWII leading up to the Arizona memorial. Summer was also very helpful and accessible for questions. Summer added some fun extra things at the end of the tour to make it such an enjoyable time for our family. Summer's personality was fun and upbeat during the full tour and I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour was fantastic. Summer did a phenomenal job and was very informative and knowledgeable. My only knock on the tour is our van was hot and did not have A/C
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about each area we visited and provided a thorough history. Learning about history of Hawaii and the Kings and Queens were very interesting. I especially liked the information about Pearl Harbor, the U.S.S. Missouri, and Honolulu’s Historic Landmarks.
Very good experience! USS Arizona , very somber, makes you think! The other exhibits were excellent. Our guide, Summer was very knowledgeable and informative about the area and culture. Great driver too, with all off the high traffic in town. Highly recommend this experience!!!
We had a wonderful experience, Summer was an excellent tour guide, very informative, professional and friendly. Highly recommend this tour!
Please do not waste your money for this tour. The whole purpose was to visit Pearl Harbor and we spent 1 hour and 45 minutes there and felt very rushed through the memorial. We then were driven around Honolulu for a couple hours and then dropped at the airport almost 3 hours before our return flight to Maui. We would have loved to have spent more time at Pearl Harbor and less time just sitting in an airport in Hawaii. We did not realize it was also a shuttle to drop other guests at multiple hotels in Waikiki. Also want to note our guide Jorge was very rude and hard to understand ☹️
Papa P did a marvelous job on making us happy and we were amaze by his stories. My family and I thank you for your kindness. Thank you.
Tour guide on Missouri was not good. She was not personable but weird. Other stuff was great to do thanks
Worth seeing the Arizona Memorial, very moving. However, I was disappointed that the itinerary given was not adhered to. We were booked for a 3:30 flight back to Maui but guide had us at the airport at 11:30 so we were stuck for 4 hours. Waste of half a vacation day. Overall was disappointed that what was promised was not delivered although the guide was entertaining
Had a great time. Our tour guide, Anthony, was amazing. Lots of knowledge and attentive to the needs of his clientele. Walked us through pick up areas to reduce confusion. Made appropriate recommendations of "must see" historical experiences. Had an all around great experience and will recommend to others.
Schneider was a true professional. He took care of ALL our needs. Very intelligent about Hawaiian history. Funny, easy to talk to and understand. Would recommend him and Aloha Sunshine Tours Tours to anyone. A grest tour with fabulous personnel. On time and friendly. Thanks, Schneider.
I wish everyone could get tour guide Ariel. He taught us so much about he Island and Hawaiian culture. He played his ukulele for us too. He played and sang a beautiful song and we late found out it was about seaweed! The USS Arizona was a very moving experience. This is a great tour. I hope you get Ariel!
This tour was great. Our driver Cousin Gus was awesome. I'd recommend this tour to any visitor. The cotton candy ice cream at the Coffee Farm was delicious too.
Very good trip. Jorge was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and culture here. Fun spirited and Gave a very in-depth itinerary to follow while exploring Pearl Harbor and the time line he laid out worked out perfectly. Got to see everything there with time to spare. 5 stars
One of the nicest tour ever Mr. Papa P. Make sure we all caught a smile thank you.keep up the good work. Very safe with him soon coming back.
Awesome, friendly, fun! Driver was nice, and was really great with the kids. Told us all sorts of stories, lore, history, and more!
We did not see all the sites advertised. While it was great to have ample time at Pearl Harbor, because one family had to leave early for the airport we were all dropped off at 1 pm even though the company booked a 6:30 flight for us. We rushed through Honolulu, I don’t think we paused at any site and could not take any good pictures, never saw Waikiki Beach as was in our confirmation and felt like we did not matter to the company. We have been trying for a week to reach someone regarding this and to get a refund. They have not answered any call. I would not recommend them if you want to see an island.
We were picked up at our hotel and carried on a comfortable tour bus. The tour guide was amazing and interesting with her local knowledge. The tour included the Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri where the Japanese formally surrendered, the Punchbowl cemetery and other historical Honolulu sites.
We flew from Maui to Honolulu and were met by Shannon (our tour guide). We did Pearl Harbor, the Dole plantation, the macadamia nut and coffee farm, drove through many old parts of the city and Waikiki and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Shannon was fabulous. He was knowledgeable and was great fun. Would do this tour again if we could get him
My wife and I were trying to figure out if we should rent a car or book a tour to see all things beyond Waikiki. So glad we went with Dennis and this bus tour. We got to see just enough of everything on our list, in an air conditioned bus and with some awesome live narration. Dennis will do a phenomenal job taking care of you at each stop – making sure you have all of the insider info to make the most of your visits. Can’t recommend this tour enough and shout-out to Dennis for making our trip FANTASTIC!
Amazing tour! We had Dennis as our tour guide and he gave great suggestions and our schedule was perfect
Thank you to Dennis!! Great tour and he was extremely knowledgeable! We learned so much! There were so many wonderful stops along the way and this was the perfect way to see Pearl Harbor and the rest of the island. We traveled here today from Maui for the day and it was well worth the time and money spent!
Dennis was an excellent guide who did a fantastic job showing us around Oahu. He is very articulate, knowledgeable, and passionate about his Hawaiian history. He kept us entertained throughout the day and ensured that the long day was enjoyable for all. This is a great way to see the many highlights of Oahu all in one go!
Dennis the menace was awesome!!! He was very informative and made the day enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this company for tours.
