Brian was amazing! He shared his knowledge of Hawaii. We had the best food and experience. We can’t thank Brian enough for. He made our trip 10x more enjoyable.

Itinerary
At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center you can explore various exhibits that provide historical context about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. View a 23-minute documentary film that provides an overview of the attack, its impact, and the significance of the USS Arizona Memorial. After the introductory exhibits and film you will board a U.S. Navy-operated boat for a short ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The 10-minute ride across the harbor is calm and offers views of the surrounding military installations
The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack. Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface. Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war.
On the historic downtown Honolulu portion of the tour, you will experience a blend of Hawaii's rich history, cultural heritage, and modern city life all narrated by our expert guide
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific sits on top of extinct volcano also known as Punchbowl. The cemetery is the final resting place for thousands of U.S. military members. The beautifully maintained grounds feature rows of white headstones set against lush greenery. The location of Punchbowl Crater offers stunning views of the surrounding city, including downtown Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the coastline
The only royal palace in the United States. You will learn about Hawaii's monarchy, and hear stories about King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani, the last reigning monarchs.
From the palace you will view the iconic King Kamehameha Statue, a symbol of Hawaii's unity and strength. The statue is in front of the Aliʻiōlani Hale, the historic building that now houses the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
Our guide will "talk story" of the fascinating history as the original government building of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Often referred to as the "Westminster Abbey of the Pacific," Kawaiahaʻo Church is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Hawaii. Our guide will teach you about the church’s significance and its role in Hawaii’s religious history.

Brian was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and so much fun! Definitely worth booking even just for him!
Got to see part of our history. It was a great experience. We had an amazing time. Thank you for the hospitality.
Our driver Will was AWESOME! He explained in detail all the little and big things you would want to know about the history in Hawaii. Highly recommend this tour and if possible, requesting Will as your tour guide!
Be careful: This tour may get high ratings but that was NOT our experience. 1.) Our tour guide was confusing and hightly annoying in his communications. 2.) The guide's attitude and demeanor showed insufficient respect given that we were visiting an important war memorial. 3.) We were given a tour of downtown Honolulu that, except for a brief stop to see the famous bronze and gold-leaf King Kamehameha statue on King Street, was totally unimpressive. 4.) The schedule was poorly followed by the tour guide resulting in a lot of wasted time. The night before, our departure time was changed to one hour later than planned but we stilled arrived at the Arizona site over 1.5 hours before our scheduled viewing. From that point, we took control and managed the rest of our visit to the Arizona and Missouri on our own after which we left the tour entirely.
Although Pearl Harbor is a very sad time and place, the Military, and Hawaiian families have made this Memorial so beautiful and so thoughtful for the lost souls. RIP USS Arizona Our tour driver “Brian” very thoughtful to all of his guest. He goes above and beyond to make sure that you have the real Hawaiian experience. He's very passionate about his Hawaiian Roots. I will definitely book any tour with this guy, Brian. Mahalo
Pearl Harbor itself is a must see, nothing to complaint about it. We were disappointed with the guide/driver sent by Aloha Sunshine Tours. We were a family traveling and other travelers were all elderly people, the driver indications were very confusing even for us younger people. Because of him people didn’t understand what they were supposed to do and he got upset and angry when people told him he wasn’t explaining properly. He got even more upset and told the elderly group “ if you want to leave the tour you can get an uber back” it was so upsetting for us to hear, you don’t speak like this to people especially if they are older than you and the only thing they did was to leave the bag on the bus because you could not explain properly about the locker room available at the visitor center. The bus was also very old and driver ability very low.
Our trip to the memorial was an experience I will never forget. The history shared and the respect for those who lost their lives serving when the attack at Pearl Harbor took place was amazing to encounter. The USS Missouri, the Aviation Museum as well as the tour of the city at the end were phenomenal as well. Our guide for the day (WILL) was amazing and he made the trip exceptional! Can’t say enough great things about him! Personable, knowledgeable, kind, caring and funny! Wish we had another trip to book with him as our driver/guide. He even took a pic with us! Thanks Will!
Will was great! He was so full of information. So helpful and made pickup and drop off very smooth. Timing was spot on for all of the events that were scheduled. The shuttle bus was good as well. Great experience!
We were picked up from airport on time. We received the best treatment that one can only hope for. Our driver Mr.Darcy was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and you could tell he loves this island and the wonderful history of it. Once we got to Pearl Harbor, he explained how everything was going to go and where to meet him after the tour. Everything went so smoothly. I was really impressed. So thank you making sure we had the best experience and lots of fun. Thank you Mr Darcy.
Will was absolutely amazing his knowledge and experience was second to none and his humor made the whole experience alot more enjoyable the tour was fantastic and we learned alot Thank you
It it a full day of history and fun
We were quite disappointed with the Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour. The overall experience fell short of our expectations. The Honolulu city tour covered only 3–4 locations, with very limited time at each stop. Everything felt rushed, leaving little opportunity to explore, take pictures, or fully enjoy the attractions. Another major disappointment was that the tour did not include the battleship tour, additional museum experiences, or the historical video and VR/AR experiences. These would have made the visit much more informative, educational, and memorable, especially for families with children. The itinerary was very basic and did not provide the comprehensive Pearl Harbor experience we had hoped for. Much of the sightseeing could easily have been arranged independently, allowing more flexibility and time to explore. Overall, the tour was underwhelming, rushed, and lacked several important attractions. I would recommend exploring Pearl Harbor independently rather than booking this particular tour.
Our tour guide Will was amazing and so helpful!! Made the experience amazing!!
Absolutely fabulous!! Will was the BEST tour guide I've had in a long time. Absolutely loved his enthusiasm and drive for keeping us entertained. After a not so great visit on the big Island this is just what we needed. Pearl Harbor was on my bucket list of things to do and I'm so happy to have done it through your company. Thank you Viator and especially grateful for Will.
Handsome Brian is the best tour guide!! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating!! He knows his food and has many suggestions regarding places to visit!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you!!
Our guide handsome Bryan was fantastic. Very informative and fun. Went out of his way to meet all our desires. Give him five stars.
It was basically a fancy uber ride. The driver shared very little information and wouldn’t use the headset, so it was really hard to hear him even though there was only 4 of us on the bus. If you are just wanting a ride and someone to buy your ticket to the Arizona Memorial then this is perfect. If you want lots of history and facts while driving this isn’t for you. Driver was nice and communication was excellent. He also picked us up close to our hotel. Definitely a missed opportunity to share more about Hawai’i and the area. The bus was comfortable and clean.
Pearl Harbor is amazing place! Visit the Arizona battle ship is speechless. The driver was nice and kind but was hard to hear her voice with all the noises coming from the bus, I recommend to drive yourself there if it’s possible.
Our guide Will was awesome. A wealth of information and very pleasant!
Will picked us up right on time. He was very professional as well very knowledgeable. He communicated with us throughout the day, which made the entire day run smoothly.
Small group, the guide Will was the best, fully engaged and informative the experience was 10 of 10
Papa P was great. I need to lengthen this to post.
Great time! Our guide, Papa P, went out of his way to make sure we had a fun and informative time. He provided snacks and water and lots of conversation/singing/information. I would 100% recommend! A long day but worth it!
Very helpful and professional
Traffic in honolulu is bad sometimes so start time may be changed. Good experience well organised with good communication from driver/guide
Johnnie was a great tour guide. Very informative and incredibly entertaining. Would highly recommend. 10/10
It was amazing! It was just enough time to see both ships and some of the city! My husband and I had a great time!
Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. Pearl Harbor was just what I expected. The facility was easy to get around, as I need assistance to walk.
Amazing time!! What a beautiful place Our guide Will was so informative and pleasant!
Will was our driver and he was amazing. He was very informative of the local culture. He helped keep us on track to make sure we had an enjoyable experience.
Tour was timely and our driver Jr. Was fantastic. A lot was seen and enjoyed.
It was very informative and emotional. Our driver Will prepared us very well for what we were about to experience.
Will was an amazing guide 10/10 recommend
Amazing and very humbled to have visited the sacred grounds.
This was a fantastic tour and our driver Will was incredibly informative about the history of Pearl Harbor and Oahu. Once you’re at the memorial is when you realize how much history is packed into such a small place, and just how monumental and impactful it was. Also, many thanks to Will for being proactive in communicating since we had some issues between the main office telling me a change in the time and location of the pick up and not updating him.
Our excursion got cancelled by the tour company saying due to navy shut port after hurricane. Other excursions with other companies we called said that was not so. So we chose another company to go with. Thanks to visitor for giving us a full refund. I would check your companies you book thru alittle better.
We were happy to go on this tour. Originally it was scheduled a day earlier but with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala our cruise ship could not dock until the next day. The tour company worked with our schedule in order to give us a chance to see Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. We were able to change our meetup location making for a less stressful day of travel, which we appreciated very much. Will was personable, entertaining and engaging with his storytelling history lessons. He really wanted us to have the best possible experience with the short time we had in Honolulu. He succeeded, thank you Will.
Will made the tour fun and interesting with details about what happened before the Pearl Harbor attack started, details about the Punchbowl and about the King’s palace and state buildings.
Summer was a great guide, really enjoyed the tour with her!
Excellent experience, Pearl Harbor is a somber but rewarding experience. It definitely warrants contemplation and respect.
Summer and Junior were great. Easy pickup and drop off. Gave us plenty of time to see everything. Lots of A.C. for those of you who get hot. Great experience.
Awesome service Aunty Summer the real deal and Unc Jr who assisted , both very knowledgeable and professional to the tea!! We have been here for 6 days and everyone has been kind but this was top notch ALOHA!! We felt OHANA for sure. Thank you so much for the guide !! We highly recommend!!
Brian was super fun and took us to some local places to get some great eats!
After a fiasco with Hawaii tours (Now known as Go Hawaii Tours) my wife and I booked the Pearl Harbor tour through Aloha Sunshine. The owner personally reached out to ensure we had everything we needed and more. The tour itself was amazing yet also sombering. Our tour guide Brother Miah (due to both he and I being former soldiers he is forever my brother not cousin) was amazing and hilarious at the same time. He did make sure to remind everyone the importance of Pearl Harbor and that it was a place of great loss of life and to remember why we were there. The Arizona Memorial is a sombering reminder of that day. The Missouri is a great reminder of the victory over the Japanese in WWII. It is also a sight to see her guarding her fallen sister the Arizona. The tour of downtown historic Honolulu was good, minus the terrible traffic but as brother Micah said, it is the 8th worst traffic spot in the nation. Brother Micah (I’m sure I spelt his name wrong so forgive me on that) is extremely knowledgeable in Hawaiian culture and history. I would highly recommend Micah for all tours!. The day was amazing as a whole. 5 stars isn’t enough, highly recommended! CHEEEHOOO!!! 🤙
Very entertaining and interesting
Wonderful tour guides with a good attitude and wonderful tales of the island. We had fun and enough time to take pictures during the trip.
The tour was a wonderful, and very informative experience, with amazing views and rich history shared. Summer and Junior were kind and very helpful.
Went to Pearl Harbor with Maya as our tour guide. He was funny, informative and kind. Lots of FYI which we appreciate.
Tour guide was a hoot. Nice stories about Honolulu.
