At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center you can explore various exhibits that provide historical context about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. View a 23-minute documentary film that provides an overview of the attack, its impact, and the significance of the USS Arizona Memorial. After the introductory exhibits and film you will board a U.S. Navy-operated boat for a short ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. The 10-minute ride across the harbor is calm and offers views of the surrounding military installations
The USS Arizona Memorial is a white, open-air structure that spans the remains of the sunken battleship. It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack. Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface. Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war.

I had the most amazing tour around Pearl City, and our tour guide, Summer, truly made the experience unforgettable. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything feel fun and easy. We visited a macadamia nut farm where we got to taste fresh, delicious nuts and learn about how they’re made, then drove through the most beautiful scenic views across Oahu. To top it all off, we stopped at the Dole Plantation for a Dole Whip, which was the perfect treat. Summer made the whole tour feel special—I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Will is a walking textbook. He knows Hawaiian and Japanese history and culture and he knows a lot about matters and events occurring during WWII and Pearl Harbor. He was citing facts and data quicker than I could look it up on my phone. Will just knows history and he presents it in a way that is informative, insightful, and entertaining. I would select Will as my tour guide because is highly qualified and very good. The tour was about 6 or 7 hours. It included more than I expected and we had time for breaks and lunch.

If all you want is a ride to the Pearl Harbor Memorial area and tickets to what is offered there, this is the tour for you. Do not expect much more. we flew in from Maui and we met at the airport by Jorge, our driver and he did give a very rehearsed history of the attack on Pearl Harbor and other historical events. However, his delivery was less than desirable. The trip from the airport to the memorial was about 15 minutes and he spoke without inflection for excitement in the stories he were telling. We got to the memorial, He gave us our tickets and again very rapidly explained the procedure through the site visiting Arizona and the Missouri battleship as well as the Bowfin submarine exhibit. Herepeatedly told us to call him if we had any questions. Then left on our own, which I knew was what would happen based on the information I was given so no problem. However, I did have a question about logistics and attempted to call Jorge, I left a message for him to call me back and that never happened. we were picked up by Jorge at the designated area, he was seated on the bus in the parking lot so we made our way over and again a explanation of what we were gonna see with the Honolulu tour we drove through the Punchbowl cemetery and went to see Iolani Palace and the statue of Kamahameha down there where we were allowed to get off the bus and take pictures. Unfortunately, traffic was terrible in Waikiki so he felt like it would be frustrating to try to get down to that area of Honolulu so instead, we were able to get to the airport early and catch up early coming back to Maui.
