This was the best bucket list for my 50th birthday ever. Been to Hawaii many times and this is a must do! Great way to see the island without all the traffic! We had the best pilot, Stefan, who made the ride amazing and fun. Ashley, the coordinator, was friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel at ease before taking off. Definitely read the instructions when booking this trip. They make it easy to arrive and understand the process of the experience. Very professional! Oh.. and bring a jacket for sure!
A great flight on a small 4 seater helicopter. The pilot was very personable and knowledgeable. I recommend flying with the doors off as we did.
This helicopter tour with Honolulu Heli was absolutely incredible! From takeoff to landing, everything felt smooth, safe, and exciting. Our pilot Scott was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable for both adults and kids. The views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the coastline were breathtaking. The photos they took turned out great and were delivered promptly. It was a highlight of our Hawaii trip and we’ll be recommending this to all our friends visiting Oahu. Don’t miss this amazing adventure!
Scott was very knowledgeable about the island and it's history and was able to give us amazing views and photos for us to remember our honeymoon with. If we ever come back out we are absolutely going to go up for another ride!
Staff was Great! Had such an amazing time! Easy to find the airport and staff made the whole experience great. Stefan was a great guide.
Fantastic experience with true professionals. The pilot and staff went above and beyond to help plan a marriage proposal. Of course she said yes! Thanks again for helping make our moment special.
Great experience! Breathtaking views and good background information from the pilot. Very professional Definitely recommended.
Stefan was awesome. I took my 12 & 9 year old children for a ride. He was very professional and patient. When the option to take the doors off came, the kids couldn’t get the doors off fast enough. Safety was the number one concern and Stefan made us feel very safe the entire trip. I highly recommend a helicopter tour of Hawaii as it will get away from the buzz of the masses and let you truly enjoy the beauty of the island. Honolulu Heli was certainly the right choice for us! Thank you for an awesome time!!!
Our kids got us a gift for 24th anniversary, we enjoyed it. Stephan is very knowledgeable polite, and professional pilot, he Recomend to have at least one door off, we love it. will go again only with both doors off. IZ & NZ (Alaska)
Pilot Jim was a great pilot. Very smooth ride and very knowledgeable of the area! If your looking for a helicopter tour be sure to check them out
Me and my girlfriend had a great time. Stefan was our pilot and was very professional. The flight was smooth and had amazing views. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to see a lot of the island in a short amount of time.
Phillip & I spontaneously chose to take a 30 min helicopter jaunt over Oahu. Meet & greet with our pilot, golf cart travel to trailer, gain important logistics, protocols, boundaries, & safety instructions. Anyone who wants to see Hawai’i? Take a helicopter tour… open windows… no doors… only way to explore. Topside view is HEAVENLY. The colors burst, ocean blue…picture perfect, the peeks jet to the sky, pillowing clouds feel much closer. PILOT “ALEX”… is a fantastic tour guide. To see top view skyscrapers in Waikiki was a pleasant experience. Like seeing what the gods & goddesses SEE… We are converted Helicopter travelers. We plan to fly again & will schedule our journey w/HHT. Alex is our Pilot of choice. Mahalo nui. Aloha kakou.
The Honolulu Helicopter Company is fantastic. They really looked after us and the view was amazing. Such a great way to see the island.
If you are staying in Hawaii, it’s a must to do a helicopter tour. I called a few places but this place was the only one who offered the best rates. Additionally the service was excellent ! I would recommend this tour company for any of your helicopter tour needs. Thank you so much to the pilot and employees working there!
Pilot Jim is a hoot! Very knowledgeable to share with you as you pass by various viewpoints. Sign up! You won't be disappointed!
It was a great adventure that I would do it again they're very friendly and the crew was very professional
Stefan was a great pilot-he was engaged and thorough from beginning to the end. Highly recommend the ride!!!!
Stefan and Jacob were great! So very helpful to accommodate and help us! It was a truly great flight and bucket list experience!
It was our first trip to Hawaii. And our first helicopter ride. In the beginning I'd like to share our disappointments - well... there aren't any :) The tour was even better than we had imagined, just perfect! The staff made us feel like family from the beginning, answered every question and put us at ease. The flight was mind blowing, views were breathtaking, we loved every minute of it! Our pilot Stefan - great commentary, super friendly - was superb and did an awesome job. Oh, and the sound track was fabulous. The tour put a smile on our faces for a long time. We could not recommend it enough! p.s. request Stefan as your pilot! p.s.2. a few days later we took a Grand Canyon helicopter ride and... HonoluluHeli is much more enjoyable in every aspect.
My husband and I took the 30 minute helicopter ride with Stefan and had a wonderful experience! He explained everything thoroughly and gave plenty of opportunities for us to ask questions before boarding the helicopter. We were offered drinks/snacks while doing the safety brief as well. I also joked about my fear of heights, and Stefan was very understanding and reassuring that we would be safe while up in the air. The flight itself offered beautiful views of the island and we were provided facts about all of the different areas of the island. We enjoyed the entire experience and will be definitely plan to fly with Stefan whenever we return (and next time we’ll choose the hour option)!
This helicopter ride was amazing. My first time riding in a helicopter with out the doors and it took the experience to a whole other level. Hawaii in itself is gorgeous, so to see it from above was the cherry on top. Our pilot Stefan was extremely nice and professional. He was very knowledgeable of the island, which made it a educational ride too. Directions to pick up site were spot on very clear and direct. Our weather was amazing too, sunshine all day. I would recommend bringing a jacket if you ride with out the doors, we went on a sunny day but the wind up there was much much cooler. Also bring a brush/comb for afterwards because your hair will be all tangled. I had a pony tail on but my hair was still all over the place, I ended the ride looking like a freshly hatched baby bird...lol over all an amazing experience, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii, it will just blow your mind. I'm afraid of heights, but I did it. Mind over matter. It's a once in a lifetime experience and I didn't want to miss out. Also I opted for the 30min ride because I'm afraid of heights but the 1hr tour I'm sure would have been even more amazing. Thank you to the whole team for making our experience a memorable one and to our pilot Stefan for taking such beautiful pictures of us to have for a lifetime. Great guy. 👍🏼
What an amazing experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the smooth ride and saw so many interesting things including whales and a waterfall. Brian was our pilot and his expertise in both flying and the the island ensured a smooth flight packed with great information. The one hour tour gave us a great visual overview of the island, too. We felt safe and appreciated this very personal experience as the only two passengers on board. A great way to take photos and videos. Brian situated the helicopter perfectly for great visuals! This is a must do, and doors off!!
The crew was amazing and the ride was perfect. It was smooth, the pilot was friendly and we had a good variety of sites we were able to see! We had someone in our group that was super afraid to fly but he ended up feeling really secure and loved it. Highly recommend this group. Book the hour long one! It’s worth it!
This was great! Highly recommend Stefan as a pilot, he gave us an awesome tour. Even though it was raining when we started, the views were incredible.
Pilot was very friendly, went over the safety instructions very well and while in the air showed all the top attractions in the area from an areal view
Absolutely amazing. The workers Valerie and the Pilot Steffan went above and beyond to help me with a message to be able to propose to my partner. Steffan was a great pilot and an even better tour guide as he flew us around.
They prepared us very well and made us feel at ease. Stefan was a wonderful pilot. Everyone who visits Oahu needs to take this tour, doors off preferably!
Tour companies were so hard to choose from, but my friend recommended this one and I'm so glad we went with them. We flew with Stefan, and he told us about the island as we flew over. Their whole team is so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They have some refreshments for before the flight, and we even got a great lunch recommendation for afterwards. The went above and beyond! Quite literally
