Favorite hotel to stay in Waikiki area. Further from busy area but still walkable. Service is phenomenal and we felt truly appreciated as guests. They provide towels and chairs that you can take to the beach which is ~10mins away if you prefer that over the pools. Solid breakfast. Rooms have full kitchens if you prefer to cook yourself or have special dietary needs. Will be back 💕

Our family had an unforgettable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Waikīkī Residences! The customer service was truly phenomenal from start to finish. Every employee we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Super clean, beautiful amenities, great location, and delicious food. Traveling with children who have food allergies can be stressful, but the staff took incredible care of us and handled every concern with such thoughtfulness and attention to detail. A special thank you to Ljubica, who was the absolute sweetest and made sure our kids were safe by carefully communicating with the kitchen staff. Her kindness and genuine care meant so much to our family. She also provided us with the best local recommendations! Thank you, Ljubica! The bartenders, especially Talane, made outstanding drinks, and every server we had was exceptional. This has officially become our go-to place in Waikīkī because of all the amazing staff and care they provided, and we can't wait to come back. Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was nothing short of superb — every interaction felt warm, genuine, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The staff truly set this property apart. Everyone, from the​ valet parking to the front desk to housekeeping to the concierge, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Requests were handled promptly, recommendations were thoughtful and personalized, and the team's genuine warmth made the entire stay feel effortless. The amenities were equally impressive.The pool for kids, the cabana, the restaurants, and walkable access to the beach and the major stores and food trucks gave the property a resort-level feel while still maintaining that signature Ritz-Carlton polish and attention to detail. Whether you're visiting Waikiki for relaxation or exploration,this property delivers a luxury experience backed by genuinely caring service. I'd return without hesitation.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki is an absolute 10/10 for us. We spent one week there and would come back anytime without hesitation. The service was outstanding from the first to the last moment — incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Every single staff member contributed to making us feel genuinely comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms with balconies are modern, spotless, and exceptionally spacious. The bathroom was huge and featured a bathtub, double sinks, and a Japanese heated toilet seat. The Diptyque amenities in my favorite scent were another huge plus. There was also a washing machine, dryer, and even laundry detergent available directly in the room. Absolutely nothing was missing. And if there had been anything we needed, we were clearly informed that we could contact the front desk anytime. We also loved the reusable water bottles provided as a welcome goodie. The pools are beautiful, large, clean, and never overcrowded. The overall atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm and relaxing. You cannot hear the street noise, and the rooms are not noisy at all — perfect for unwinding. The location is also ideal: plenty of shops are nearby, and the beach is less than a 10-minute walk away. The ocean view from the rooms was beautiful. During our stay on Oahu, we also stayed at a beachfront hotel, and we would still choose the Ritz-Carlton every single time. The valet parking was also perfectly organized. At $60 it is not cheap, but that is very common in the US and especially in Hawaii. Everything worked quickly, smoothly, and reliably, and the valet staff were extremely friendly and accommodating as well. For us, this is one of the very few hotels in Hawaii that truly deserves its five-star rating. We also really appreciated that there are no additional resort fees, which is quite rare in Hawaii. Honestly, we cannot think of a single thing that could be improved. Absolute recommendation!
