Place is showing some age, but had a nice dip at the beach and got parking validation from the beach bar with purchase of a drink (good lemonade). Got to see the dolphins as it was their dinner feeding time. Clean and safe beach, no fear of someone stealing our items as we floated in the ocean.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is my second time coming to this hotel in Oahu, and honestly, I can't imagine staying anywhere else! Upon entering, they valet your car for you, and when you enter the hotel itself, the smell is unforgettable, and whatever troubles you may have had to worry about on your trip coming, simply vanish with the calm that is the Kahala. When you head to the front desk to recieve your room key, the concierge (who was incredibly friendly) will provide you and any one of your comrades in travel with a Hawaiian bead necklace, which really puts you in the mood! 😂 Before you take the elevator, be sure to walk a few step past it, and you will find a few gift shops, including one selling jewelry. There is also a hall of all the celebrities who have visited the hotel in the past, including Robin Williams, which is very meaningful to a fan of his, like me. As far as the rooms are concerned, they are very cozy and comfortable, with the bathrooms being rather spacious and clean. They have multiple towels and robes inside the bathroom and a robe as well. At the end of the day, house keeping will stop by and even leave chocolate for you! The ambiance at this hotel is second to none, from the drive up to every experience you have inside. Their food is sensational from their papaya and breakfast buffet, to their steak for dinner. Their room service isn't too bad either! 😂 The Kahala Burger is a must try! They even have a Italian restaurant right outside the hotel. They have a pool and it's pretty big. They have seats all around it and a little shack that sells pool toys. Their beach is very large, and very fun to hang out at. If you walk along it at night, you will find some crabs, which are pretty fun to hold. They also have dolphins, which you can actually swim with! Overall, this hotel is one of a kind. If you were ever planning on taking a trip to Oahu and just couldn't decide where to go, hands down, come here. Their service is unlike anything I've ever seen before, and the quality of the food is exceptional! The vibe at this hotel is truly Hawaiian. If I could give more than five syars, I would. On your next trip to Oahu, Hawaii, stay at the Kahala, they'll have you feeling like a king or queen, which these days, is a treatment incredibly hard to find! Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ :)
My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding here, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The service is absolutely exceptional, and every single staff member we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated the beautiful ocean views and the quiet, peaceful vibe of the entire resort—it's the perfect relaxing getaway. Also, I highly recommend the breakfast at Plumeria Beach House; it was fantastic! A truly memorable stay from start to finish.
This has been an amazing experience for my girlfriend’s graduation trip! Masa at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night feeling exhausted. Masa greeted us with professionalism and enthusiasm. He gave us a great room with amazing views that immediately made the trip so exciting for us. His manager also helped us carry the luggage into our room. This place has a great beach that is not crowded and very delicious breakfast buffet. We highly recommended this place!
We got married at the Kahala Hotel and cannot recommend them enough! The staff at the Kahala are some of the most kind and attentive people I have encountered at a hotel. Naoko Abarca was our catering manager, and her communication and organization were top notch. The day of our wedding was stormy, so we had to pivot to moving our ceremony into the lobby area underneath their gorgeous chandeliers. Despite the pivot, everything turned out even better than I could have imagined thanks to Naoko and all the staff who made everything run seamlessly. The reception was gorgeous, and all our guests raved that our dinner buffet was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! The hotel grounds are also stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our special day. We also stayed at the hotel for three days during our wedding and were so impressed by the rooms and attentive staff. Housekeeping and room service were kind and thorough, and we also had a spa day with an amazing scrub and massage! The best part of the Kahala is how removed it is from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki - it truly feels like a retreat, without being too far from all the fun activities that the city has to offer. All in all, I cannot thank the Kahala enough for a wonderful stay and an even more wonderful wedding. Even though the weather was bad, the staff made everything perfect and I'm so grateful we booked our wedding with them. I would do it all over again if I could! We can't wait to come back to the Kahala for future anniversaries and special occasions with our family.
