Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas

We enjoyed our stay at HGV Maui Bay. Our accommodations were clean and roomy. Our one bedroom suite had just about everything needed to cook a meal. We purchased the food ahead and was able to cook several meals with the items within the units. Additionally, it was convenient to have a snack store and bar steps away, around the pool. Not to mention the restaurant opened in the evening with happy hour specials. The pools were clean and welcoming with an adults-only section as well as slides for the kids as well as many chairs/locations to lounge, ans cabanas. The ocean with beach area and additional pool privately located across the street. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Plentiful parking and location is convenient, centrally located near shopping, food, and adventure.

Everything about this place is exceptional! I’m an owner and we needed more room for this family trip, so we rented the 3 BR, 3BA oceanview penthouse. It is breathtaking and has upgrades we’ve never experienced before in the Hilton portfolio. This place Is 2nd to none! And as usual, Hilton has done a wonderful job making us feel right at home with all of the extras and outstanding service.

Spacious Rooms, but Lacking in Service and Atmosphere While I wanted to love my stay at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas, the overall experience unfortunately fell short. To start with the positives, the accommodations themselves are great. Our room was large and comfortable, and having an in-unit washer and dryer was incredibly convenient for a beach vacation. However, the rest of the property is just okay, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Right from the start, the front desk staff was unfriendly at check-in and seemed completely indifferent to our arrival, which did not set a welcoming tone. The amenities were also frustrating. The pool service is virtually non-existent; no staff members ever walk around to check on guests. To make matters worse, the pool bar closes right when the beach bar opens around 4:00 PM, meaning you have to walk all the way across the street if you want anything to eat or drink in the late afternoon. The biggest drawback, though, is the property's proximity to the road. Whether you are trying to unwind at the pool or hang out at the Beach Club, you can constantly hear cars driving by. It completely disrupts the peaceful, relaxing vacation vibe you expect in Hawaii. Despite the nice rooms, the lack of hospitality and the constant road noise were dealbreakers. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

As owners in Hilton Grand Vacation Club, we had a package to spend 4 days here. The resort is beautiful and the views are stunning. The rooms are great, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer in unit. Pros: great views, comfortable rooms, great service, many pool options. Cons: food is only available during limited times. Breakfast is not available before 8am unless you have a car or take an Uber to go buy your own. Grab & Go is not open all day, so for a quick bite, you could find it closed. No cold breakfast or lunch options (cereal/deli sandwiches/salads) everything is cooked to order, which is a good thing but limits choices and the "grab & go" aspect
