This hotel was very gracious in letting us out of our stay after one night. The customer service was very helpful at the front desk. Many people there seemed to be enjoying themselves, but it sure wasn’t for us. It is a zoo of people. Lines everywhere, crowded, and the food was very mediocre. Nothing about this place says relaxing Hawaiian vacation. I suppose in the same way some people love big cities, this place may be appreciated, but it sure wasn’t for us. Our kids and grandkids were so happy when we moved next door to the four seasons. They had a wonderful kids club that wasn’t crowded and a relaxing vibe with lots to do, beautiful rooms, and fabulous food. It would have been heartbreaking to go all that way and spend all that money to be miserable, and we were. Thank you Aulani for so graciously letting us out with no penalty. I’ve never seen that before, but so appreciated it. You ultimately changed the whole course of our vacation and we are eternally grateful.

Beautiful resort with the friendliest and happiest cast members. All were service oriented and engaging. The property is clean and well maintained. The challenge is finding ways to enjoy what's offered. Nothing better than sunrise on the lanai off the lobby, but after that the lobby area is a hectic zoo I learned to avoid. Reservations at one of the table service restaurants are hard to get, but we were fortunate and the experience was wonderful. The gym is well equipped but too small for the population, making it unusable in the morning. Securing pool and beach chairs requires planning and getting up early, which I find a bit irritating. But the view is outstanding if you're fortunate to get one.
What a wonderful resort!!! It is nestled into an area with not much around it restaurant or shop wise. But, if you are looking for "secluded" this works even for the size. Staff was of course amazing and helpful when needed. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. A lot of people but it never felt crowed. Except when you needed an elevator in the evenings there was always a line. 6 elevators for 16 floors wasn't enough. The pools are great!! Lots of options even 18+ areas. Lagoon is nice but its just that, no waves and little to know fish (so dont waste 30 dollars and snorkeling equipment, go to rainbow reef in the pool area if you want to snorkel, or book a tour. Cafe food was good. sticker shock 23 dollars for tenders and fries, but they were big you will wait for your food!!. Pay attention alot of the snack huts close at 5 (dole whip and shave ice for example) Did not do the luau, but our room over looked it so that was nice.
We loved Aulani! This was our second time to visit and it was even more enjoyable than the first. The resort is clean and nice. Beds are comfy. Bath products are amazing! And the beach and pools are hard to beat. For littles visiting Hawaii this place is a no brainier!
Absolutely wonderful! I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Great service, beautiful rooms, and fantastic amenities. I especially like the location. It's far from the craziness of Waikiki and Honolulu. It's great for families of all ages. I recently brought my son's in their 20's and they had a blast. And this week my nephew and his new wife are visiting for their honeymoon. You will surely not be disappointed if you visit.
