Book another hotel don’t make the same mistake we did. Been to Maui many times typically stay at four seasons or Grand Wailea thought this place looked more for adults. Booked ocean view room, was told they were out and moved us to a partial view room. No waters in rooms, the breakfast is a 4/10 I’ve seen 3 star hotels do better, we ate off site after the first day even though it was free to eat here to give some context. Tried to ask for concierge help with a restaurant reservation was flat out told no they won’t. This hotel is at best worth $300-400 a night for just location, if you’re gonna spend $900+ a night do it at a true 5 star resort there are many here.

This resort is amazing!! The views of sunset everyday are the most incredible we've ever seen. The best part of Andaz is the people that work there. Everyone is committed to making you smile but there are two who you interact with more than others. Joey at valet / bell stand is a great gentleman. He is dedicated to making a positive impact whether you are arriving for check-in, taking you nearby in the courtesy car, or making sure you have towels in the car before you head out to explore Maui for the day. Chanel, the hostess at the Ka'ana Kitchen breakfast is the sweetest young lady. She greeted us by name and took time to get to know us and share her ambitions.
We spent a week at Andaz for our 10th year Anniversary. It surpassed all of our expectations. Service is top of the line. Every bite was delicious and every drink was perfectly crafted. One of the best food and drink menus in Wailea. Location is prime and the staff is wonderful to provide recommendations to meet your needs. Our bartender John was incredibly attentive, and gave us a fabulous tour of the drink menu during our stay. I really appreciate the high quality toiletries and snacks. We look forward to returning for whale watching later this year. Certainly worth every penny!
Came here twice in 3 years (+ came back after trying the Wailea Beach Resort next door). Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is hands-down a top-tier choice on the island. The price point is at the higher end, but the level of comfort, design, and service completely justifies it. Wailea feels much more modern and open compared to older resort strips like Ka‘anapali. One perk of this location is direct access to the oceanfront beach path that connects all the Wailea resorts—it’s perfect for a morning run, yoga, or a sunset stroll. It's very easy to walk down to the Mokapu beach, go snorkeling (plenty of turtles!!) or relax under the umbrella. The pool setup is great woth several infinity pools cascading down, plus a family lagoon pool and a separate adults-only tranquility pool. The range of activities and amenities is extensive - everything from ukulele and cocktail-making classes to their on-site lu‘au (The Feast at Mōkapu). Food and pool service were consistently great, but the breakfast buffet at Ka‘ana Kitchen deserves a special shoutout—unbelievably rich, fresh, and one of the best spreads we’ve ever had. Whether you plan to relax by the resort all day or use it as a comfortable base to explore other parts of Maui, Andaz is an amazing choice. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at the Andaz Maui! The resort is beautiful and the staff was great from start to finish. It has a little bit of everything, and my mom and I especially loved the adults only tranquility pool for some quiet relaxation. The food at the beach bar was delicious too. A five star experience all around, would go back in a heartbeat.
