Great food tour in hanoi, with delicious food and a caring tour guide with Linh! I thought this was a private tour but another solo traveller was also booked, so Linh took us both around the city to great food spots we wouldn't have known about without her! She gave us lots of insight into Hanoi life and made sure we were full - thank you

My partner and I did the vegan street food tour with Pinky. Pinky made this one of the highlights of our time in Vietnam. She brings so much energy and fun to the experience and has an amazing ability to connect with everyone in the group. She checked if we were comfortable with attending places where meat is prepared alongside the vegan dishes, or if we needed only vegan restaurants. We didn’t mind going to restaurants where meat is also served, but I appreciated being asked. It was exceptionally hot and I was struggling with the heat coming from a winter climate. Pinky offered me her personal fan to use while we were on the tour which was so lovely. She also found places with fans and air conditioning at the different restaurants so we could keep as cool and comfortable as possible during the evening. Her English is exceptional, making it easy to ask questions and learn about the history, culture and food of Hanoi. The food itself was outstanding, but the real magic was being taken to places we never would have discovered ourselves. In addition, Pinky shared a list of recommended restaurants and experiences that we will use for the rest of our trip. Thank you, Pinky, for an unforgettable evening filled with great food, laughter and local insights. We left with full stomachs, a confidence to navigate Hanoi as vegetarians, and even better memories.

We had a wonderful experience on the tour. The highlight of the evening was definitely our guide, Angelina—she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. The food stops were delicious and thoughtfully chosen, giving us a great variety of vegan dishes we wouldn’t have found on our own. Overall, it was a fun, informative, and very well-organized experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Angelina as your guide!

The food scene in Hanoi is amazing, even for vegans! So glad we did the tour, our host Huong was amazing, so insightful and helpful. We tried about ten different dishes in lots of places we usually wouldn’t and now have the confidence to be more adventurous for the rest of our holiday. Thanks so much!

Excellent tour guide and great food tasting. We were able to have good vegetarian options on this tour. It was at comfortable pace. Guide had good knowledge about local cuisines. This helped us later to find right places due to vegetarian food restrictions.

She was very understanding and accommodating of our dietary needs (as well as checking for any allergies before the tour started) The food we tried was delicious & there was plenty of it - make sure you don't have lunch before you go! Trang was super friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. 10/10.

We had such a great tour with Pinky! Her enthusiasm was amazing. We especially enjoyed the sticky rice dish and dry Pho. Just a thought - maybe a bit bigger portions for big groups would be good. We'd definitely want Pinky as our guide again :) <3

It was wonderful! Our guide was Jasmine and she was so much fun and enthusiastic. She explained a lot about Vietnamese culture, about the food, and I tried dishes I never would've had otherwise. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 4, of which only one of us was vegan. However the food throughout was excellent - tasty and filling. Vy was an excellent guide, informative and able to answer all our questions and queries. The tour exceeded all my expectations (as a non-vegan), I would do it again and I certainly wouldn’t be put off trying more.

Vy was an incredible host who took us to eat amazing vegetarian food. We ate at some very hidden places that we would not have been able to find alone. I recommend doing this tour early on your visit to Hanoi so you can return to your favourite food stops later. Note: we are veggie, but we were asked about our preferences before starting the tour. Vy had a perfect understanding of vegetarian, vegan, pescetarian etc. including any allergies

I did the vegan food tour with Angelina who was a perfect guide! She took us to around 8 different delicious food spots for a mix of different local foods that I would have probably never known existed otherwise. She is also such a lovely person to talk to and learn more about life in Hanoi. I would thoroughly recommend!!

Trang was the most wonderful tour guide! She was so knowledgeable and shared with us dishes and spots we would have never thought to try out on our own. Come hungry as we went to ~7 different spots! We were delighted to also learn a little more about Hanoi local spots and culture as well as the yummy food.

We had such an incredible time with Yến and training guide, Lê! We did the tour on our first day in Viet Nam. The variety of food for both the vegetarians and meat eaters in our group was fantastic. We were a group of 6 and although we felt a little tired from our long travel day the day before, the tour was super engaging with historical content and lovely cultural anecdotes. We tried great street food, beer, desert, and fruit treats from vendors. We 100% recommended this tour!

Excellent selection of local dishes. We got to try 11 different iteams, my favorite was the mung bean sticky rice. Our tour guide very knowledgeable on local history and culture.

My brother and I had been staying in Vietnam for a while but had generally been playing it safe with food since it can be tough to tell what is or isn’t vegan. We decided to book a tour to branch out a bit under the guidance of a local. The tour struck a good balance of sweet and savoury snacks, fruit, and drinks, giving us a useful (and delicious) overview of the wider range of food available here. The main standout, though, were the super-friendly guides. They were well-organised so waiting times for food were minimal, and they made sure we were happy with what we were eating. They also spoke great english, and gave us some really interesting insights into the daily lives of people here. Very good tour and reasonably priced.

Fabulous trip with Angelina. She was an interesting, knowledgeable and very friendly guide to all things vegan in Hanoi. We stopped at a mix of street food places and at the end she gave a great list of recommendations ( we tried many of these). 10/10 would recommend!

This was a really fun tour! My daughter and I were the only ones booked that day, so we ended up with a private tour with guide, Angelina. She was a fabulous guide - very engaging, she shared many insights on life in Hanoi between food stops and had many questions for us too. The food was also very good and we tried many things we wouldn’t have found on our own. Great experience!

Make sure you come hungry! We had a great evening walk with Yen, learned a lot and ate a lot 😋 My favorite was the turmeric sticky rice and donut!

Went with my husband (first time in Vietnam) and Viet Kieu mother (her and my first time in Hanoi) and we had the perfect time with Yen! She was so knowledgeable and sweet, and we got to try dishes I've never had before (as a Viet American) and explore parts of Hanoi's old quarter we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Perfect way to ease into our trip and get acclimated to Hanoi!

Vu was an incredible tour guide! The tour is packed with different stops - so many that I lost count! - and Vu is friendly and generous with his time and knowledge. Each stop gave us a taste of something delicious and unique. We loved the turmeric sticky rice with mung bean, papaya salad, donuts, and sticky rice with coconut ice cream the most but everything was so good it was hard to choose. We made a point to go back to the ice cream spot again! Vu also shared a lot with us about Vietnamese life in the city from housing to education to religion to dating. He was delightful and easy to talk with! Our group was small (just my husband and I). Vu met us right on time at the meeting location and texted us the day before to confirm the tour. Thank you for a great experience!

Wow what a way to start our trip here in Hanoi! We had the amazing Yen as our tour guide and she showed so much enthusiasm and passion for all the food and stories that this interesting city had to offer. I'd definitely recommend this tour to all tourists who want to try authentic vietnanese food and challenge themselves to go to places that they may be hesitant to approach. Yen also gave us an insightful look into the history of Hanoi and Old Quarter. We greatly appreciated this aspect of the tour and it showed how truely unique this place is. Yen and Anh were so lovely to spend time with and they did a great job taking me to places I never would have discovered on my own! I also got to learn a little more about the history of Hanoi before and after the first indochina war. I highly recommend this tour to any vegan visiting Hanoi!

The guide was fantastic and spoke really good English. He was polite and accommodating. The tour was well paced and a lot of fun with plenty of stops that made it feel very worth the money.

We had such a great experience in the Food Tour. Our Guid Vu did it with so much heart, showed us very good local food and explained something about the culture. His english was so good and we had a very good time.

We really enjoyed the food tour. Vu was an excellent guide. He gave us many insights about Hanoi and Vietnam in general and of course the food was wonderful. Due to the small group size it is an intimate experience, just like getting to know the old town with a local friend. If you have the option, I would recommend you do the tour as soon as possible when you come to Hà Nội so you can revisit the great street food spots again during your stay.

We had such a good time on this tour, Kien took us to lots of great spots that we wouldn’t have known to go to on our own. We also tried lots of cool food that we wouldn’t have tried or known what to order by ourselves. Kien made the tour very interesting and gave us lots of information and history along the way, it was one of the highlights of our time in Hanoi.

If you're looking for a fun-filled food tour, look no further! We had an amazing time walking around the Old Quarter with our local guide Vū! He brought us to so many different food stalls, including a stop at a fruit stand where we were able to pick out whatever we wanted to try. He also gave us some cultural history of the area, providing us with a look at local life in the Old Quarter. Vū was a very friendly, easy to talk to guide who made our first night in Hanoi so memorable! He even tailored the tour to our food preferences. During our stay in Hanoi we returned to a few of the places he had shared with us since they were so delicious, clean and safe. Thanks Vū for making our first trip to Hanoi so memorable!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our streetfood tour with Cong. His deep knowledge of Hanoi‘s hidden gems, it‘s best food spots and the cultural backgrounds made us fall even more in love with this amazing city. Definitely would anyone visiting Hanoi recommend to book the tour!!!!

Great little walking tour of Hanoi. Lots of food including noodles, fruit, banh mi, dessert and more. Took us down some dark alleys, showed us smallest house in Hanoi and also more! Definitely worth doing and recommended.

An incredible tour full of great food, conversations, and tidbits about Hanoi! Highly recommend for an intro into Vietnamese street food. We were ecstatic to find a vegetarian option with One Trip and Cong, our tour guide, did a stellar job finding really tasty options. We also wouldn't have found most of these vendors just walking around on our own, so we really recommend this tour for some hidden gems. Cong was really accommodating and the perfect tour guide. He handled everything for us and was really knowledgeable about the food/life in Hanoi. We loved hanging out with him. You can tell he really loves what he does and I can say I found a new friend in Hanoi :)

Huyen was the most warm and fun guide we could get. She explained a lot not only about the food but also about vietnamese culture. We enjoyed all the food we shared and appreciated a lot as the food was from small local businesses. Definitely recommend it and we feel that we made a friend. We did the tour in the day we landed in Hanoi so it was a perfect way to immerse in the local food culture. As an advice, come hungry, you'll love it!
