Great place. We stayed at 3 different motels in the last week, this was definitely the best experience. The was very clean, nicely kept, freshly updated, and had a coffee pot that held more than 4 ounces of water. Owners are great, access was easy, very quiet area. Definitely will be coming back, we had a great stay.

We have been to Los Cabos several times and always had a wonderful vacation; good food or even great food, many restaurant options, clean hotel, etc. This was the worst vacation we have had to Los Cabos and the worst vacation we have had in decades. The rooms are very dated, and are far too old to be considered "clean". In addition, the food is mediocre at best. The menus do not change, therefore, quite monotonous, especially on a two week vacation. They rate themselves as a five star, but I have stayed at numerous five star hotels and this one is a three star at best. Everything on the property is tired, dilapidated or broken. Restaurants are primarily outdoor restaurants, which can be very chilly in March. They have multiple propane heaters, but unless specifically asked to use them, they do not. They often require having the propane tank changed, which seems to take the entire wait staff, plus someone from maintenance. Changing the propane tank should be a one person job, even for a mid-70's woman, that takes seconds. There seems to be no on site management overseeing this resort. On the plus side, we did find the wait staff and chefs to be accommodating regarding special requests. However, if the quality of food is sub-par when fresh, the quality of the meal, when prepared will also be sub-par and disappointing. If Los Cabos is your preferred destination, find another resort! We have been to many and every single one of them was far better than this one, and actually cost much less money.
The tour overall went fine, here is what went well and what didn’t go well. In summary their good customer support and fixing the hotel made it from 3 to 4 stars. Better communication would make it to 5 stars. Pros: 1. Fast responses through Viator chat 2. They apologized for the hotel & the delay by the driver by moving us to a better 4-star hotel 3. All the guises and hotels had all the information they needed to have and the internal coordination was excellent between all parties. 4. The details of the hikes and the tour was totally worth it, I even recommend booking a 3-day tour for Sa Pa to stay a day longer and enjoy the unbelievable nature, rice farms & villages. 5. The set menu food for us for lunch and dinner in the hotels was very good quality and portions Cons: 1. They are the only operator who didn’t text us on WhatsApp in Vietnam a day before and so we had no idea how to reach out to them to chat on the spot apart from Viator messaging 2. The driver was late and we had no clue if he’d be coming or not 3. People in the bus didn’t know the names of their accommodations and the driver didn’t speak any English so I would recommend that the organizers always text the travellers a day before with what to expect and what to do when they arrive in Sa Pa. These all-inclusive tours can be stressful as we have no idea what will happen next and who knows what
Amazing views, good to see and learn about the local people of that area. The travel agency failed to provide information upfront. We had no information about where we were going to stay, trip itinerary, etc. You find out all on the spot. Try to avoid the back seat of the limousine because it can be quite bumpy on the road. We got an ‘upgrade’ to a four stars hotel (Freesia Hotel), which we wouldn’t have given two stars. It was shabby, old, requiring maintenance urgently. The food provided in the hotel was very bland. The lunch provided during the trekking was ok and plenty. The tourist guide was lovely. Overall, it was a good trip!
We had an amazing trekking tour - would highly recommend! We stayed at golden villa Hotel, and they have a great local tour guide named lily - she was absolutely fantastic. Took us on great trekking trails and helped us understand a bit about life in Sapa. She was a tour guide and we couldn't speak more highly of her - very enthusiastic and knowledgable!
They pick up us at our hotel in old quarter by Luxury limousine car.Very comfortable van.We got the tour from Sung . A very nice ,helpful and cheerful guide. She herself is a local who can guide you clearly and tell you more about the living conditions of the locals. This via a nice walk through the rice fields. She tried very hard to do this in English. Highly recommended. Many many Thanks.
Highlight of our Vietnam trip! We absolutely loved doing this tour and would recommend it to anyone who wants to do an experience in Sapa. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly gave us two fantastic days.
trip to Sapa bus driver is rude and reckless, coming back to Hanoi is polite. hotel is safe and good, tour guide is knowledgeable
Sapa is amazing. The natural view is fantastic. Pleasant stay at golden villa hotel, the location is at the centre of sapa city. The guide for the walk is very experienc elafy and she is good in her english and experience in her knowledge.
Sapa is great and I definitely would recommend visiting this region of Vietnam. The tour was great. The Golden Villa hotel manager took great care of us, ensuring that we got our lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and giving some tips about our homestay. We visited many places with the local guide, including Cat Cat and Lao Chai. The landscapes are absolutely gorgeous, and I was very interested in the local people's customs (many different ethnic groups inhabit this region, each with their own dialect and customs). Two small suggestions for improvement: 1) although the local guide was very nice and took good care of us, she was not always very talkative (or sometimes preferred to talk to other local guides during the trekking). While I also sometimes prefer "quiet type" guides to overly talkative ones, it would have been nice to get more information about the local customs, etc..., without always having to ask questions. 2) Some portions of the trek are quite steep and slippery. I needed help for a few sections and at least one woman in my group could not complete the trek (and neither of us were senior citizens or unfit for physical activity). It may be possible to improve these sections of the trail with a few hours of work, or to make sure that non-experienced mountain climbers always feel safe.
Oh! That was an absolutely amazing tour! We took the shuttle bus from Hanoi and got there to Golden Villa hotel. The next day shines up by bright sky (we were warned about bad rains usually happen in Sapa). Duc, our tour guide speaks excellent English, he took us for the first hiking down Cat Cat village, meeting with local tribal people there, seeing them working with buffalos on terrace field was an incredible experience for us. hen after lunch we took a little drive to Lao Chai and started our trek here. Lao Chai was also magnificent beautiful village, far away from tourist crowds, lovely local villagers and peaceful scenes there. We spent about 4 hours there then got back to the hotel when mist came down to the town. Dinner arranged by Duc also excellent with local specialities, free-range pork, chicken, trout LAU and vegies,..etc. The next day we took another drive to hike around amazing Silver waterfall, talking to local vendors there in bunches of local herbs and unique things. And a lot to tell about too. Let’s go, cuz Sapa is representing for the best of Vietnamese mountain scene and heritages.
I am so interested in the trip, ethnic minorities and landscap. It’s nature and enviterment is so wonderful. I also love the local guide. He’s so kind, cute and funny. It’s really an impressive trip.
This was a great 2D/1N tour and was worth the money. Most of the tourist places were covered, the food was good, and the guide was super kind and friendly.
The tour so amazing and fantastic. The mountain view and Ethnic People’ life make our tour more interesting than expect. The local guide so fun and friendly even the English is not as good as others guide i ever met. But he truly helpful and have knowledgable about the hobby, habit and lifestyle of people. Thats what we want..
Sapa travel is a great experience, beautiful scenery, good service, professional and enthusiastic guides helped us during the trip, you should come to experience
An beautiful experience touring the beautiful villages of Sapa with many thanks to our guide by dedication and experience guiding us and explaining the fewta sites in Sapa which was most insightful. The Cat Cat Village have best view I think and we were totally impressed by Waterfall like a white dragon diving into the stream and the stunning scenery of the surrounding mountains. Highly recommend tour
I am giving this tour 5 stars for the actual tours we did in Sa Pa (Cat Cat village & trekking to the other villages). The tour description is misleading for how you actually get to/from Sa Pa and where you stay. We were told about a week before that our bus would not be able to pick us up at the hotel or drop us off at our hotel after the tour, so we needed to arrange our own transportation. Luckily our hotel was able to book us a cab (additional cost) to the pick up location. However, on the way back, we were dropped off in a different location and ended up walking back to our hotel. We also found out morning of that we would be traveling on a sleeper bus. This would have been fine except me and my travel partner had to share one bunk and it was incredibly uncomfortable for 6+ hours. I asked for two separate bunks on the way back and they were accommodating. I would recommend you check ahead of time and see what type of bus you are getting and see if you can have a private bunk (especially if you don't want to be squished in with your travel partner). The hotel we stayed in was not a new hotel as described and our room also had several spiders and a roach, so that was interesting. However, the food at the hotel was some of the best I've had in Vietnam. The staff at the hotel were also very nice and helpful. For the tours within Sa Pa, we had a great time! Our local guides were incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. They showed us the local area and amended the trek as needed due to the heavy rain that morning. We really loved the tours, it was just that the travel to and from Sa Pa and the hotel weren't what we were expecting based upon the description.
Fantastic tour. Very friendly guides, and beautiful landscapes. Great way to see Sapa if you have limited time.
I cannot forget the smile on the kids’ face here. They’re so naive and innocent. They brought me back to my childhood time. I also had a great experience trying the traditional costume here. Nice service and thoughtful tour guide. Highly recommend.
Sapa is a beautiful city with amazing landscapes. The tour is exactly as promised. Good accommodation, delicious food, excellent tour guides and transportation. I loved it!
Trip was fun. Everything went well according to plan, and the facilities and transport arrangements were very good. The itinerary was als very interesting and our guide was excellent. Thank you🙏🏾
We had a magnificent tour overall in wonderful Sapa. Our guide was very accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable about the landscape. He took us to fantastic viewpoints and was always ready for a good joke, and he was game enough to make us reasonably adventurous off the road on muddy, hard tracks, and we laughed a lot. A very delicious lunch but lovely to see how they live. Very easy to organize with Your Indochina Travel - Day Tours online. They are accommodating. We had an exceptional trekking tour.
We did the 2 days, 1night and to be honest, that's was plenty. The first day we Trekking on beautiful terraced rice fields, it was fun and the views just amazing. The tour guide was amazingly kind, well-informed. We could taste the authentic foods prepared by the villagers.
We enjoyed our trek with our guide, who was the best guide to have she has a lot of knowledge. Interesting and beautiful place to enjoy the view of sapa. We spectators both sunrise and sunset. Our hotel was clean and had great food. Had a fantastic all day out, very worthwhile to experience.
We had a fantastic trip from start to finish. Everything is well organized. . Hotel, bus, guide, excursions. Thank you for great kind and excellent staffs & services
A trekking tour in Sapa is a unique experience and it was an wonderful trip in our life. Thank you for the very well organized tour. The Homestay on the village was beautiful, run by a friendly family who prepared delicious home-made meals - a real highlight!
I spend few weeks exploring Vietnam and for me my experience in Sapa was the best. I know that there are lots of things to visit in Vietnam and it made you only visiting each places in a very short time. If you have very limited time but really want to enjoy the nature and culture of North Vietnam (which mean Sa Pa), this tour can suit you well. The bus is very comfortable with supportive and friendly guide. We visited a beautiful rice fields, amazing waterfalls, and interact with the local tribes. The guide is very informative with the information regarding the history and legends sorroundings each place. He also explained the tradition of the local people. The hotel we stayed was very comfortable and the food was great. No issue about the bed nor toilet. So far, this trip was the best of all of my solo trip in Vietnam.
Enjoy the tour with helpful, professional & informative ethnic tourguide. She speaks really good English & shared lots of her ordinary life in Sapa too. The tour was organized well & on time. Highly recommended!
It was the best thing I've done in Vietnam. Trekking was awesome in a small group with a great guide from H'mong tribe. The homestay was simple but lovely atmosphere, great food and warm people. We will be back next trip!
The places is full of hill and vegetables in the valley. We do trekking along the Golden Streamto and we see the amazing waterfall. It is better to trip in Sapa with assistance of a guide and also a one night stay to gurantee to get more experience. The people who live in Sapa village are so lovely. They wear their traditional clothes during their work and happy to taking pictures with us. Walking in rainy season is not recommended, as they suggest to do the trip around February to May. But we still enjoying the trip and also the good taste of local food. Never regret to visit Sapa.
It was very amazing trip with the tour guide. The rice field, the hill, the people and also the breathtaking scenery was awesome. Dont forget to bring camera since it was very beautiful landscape that you mustn't miss. Wanna go back to Sapa next time.
Amazing scenery. Our guide was fantastic and really funny. The homestay we stayed in was really comfortable. I would recommend walking boots with goretex as it get quite wet depending on the weather.
I'm gonna go in pieces. To start positively our guide Yum was a love and a charm, thanks to it we had two very good days of excursion. The hotel, the room smelled damp that was horrible, the towels were dirty as if they had been left from the previous person folded, the hot water lasted 5 min. Lunch and dinner a real horror, and more knowing how rich and varied the Vietnamese cuisine is we went to find the worst place, plus they gave you dinner part of the leftovers of the food. When we arrived and we were told the itinerary of the first day absolutely nothing to do with what was hired, thanks to being fixed but after a good time. I do not recommend it at all, it is better that you find the hotel on your own and that you go to dine at any of the restaurants in the village, then you have a multitude of people willing to be your guide
