The Best 2d1n Halong Bay- All Inclusive,overnight On Boat By Expressway Transfer

So disappointed in the organisers of this trip! Had booked this one night boat trip for me, my partner and our *4 year old* child quite some time back. We were informed the very last night before the trip (like 8pm - pick up the next morning was going to be around 7.30am - so very little notice) that something was wrong with the booking (no details of what) and that they would “upgrade” us to a premium boat. We said ok, but found that there was really nothing upgraded about it compared to what we had already booked, and the photos of the new boat online looked nothing like it - very misleading (only accurate photo was the outside of the boat). But the WORST bit was this - After nearly three hours travelling on the coach and soon arriving at the boat, I get a text from the organisers saying I have to pay more money because they have seen my child’s passport and somehow concluded that she is 5. (The booking said children up to 5 go free, that was one of the reasons I booked it!) my daughter is NOT 5 years old, which I showed them on the passport. But they proceeded to argue again and again that she was 5 (and we kept repeating that she has recently turned 4). They started almost harassing us as we got on the boat, ringing, texting, calling us via a colleague and the argument about her age continued (had to have this call right in front of all the other passengers as well which made it worse) they gave me three different prices for what I should pay too. First it was 1100 vnd, then $75, then $50. I felt like I was being scammed! Eventually after lots of hounding and arguing I was so fed up with the situation and the boat had already started sailing so I just ended up reluctantly agreeing to pay. It ruined the start of the experience and I can only express how disappointing it all ended up! The crew on the boat were lovely, I will say that, but the organisers I’d give a “minus 5” if I could!

Our Tour manager Trevor was great. Food and all hotels very good. But called All inclusive but only in one hotel as one in Strasbourgh and Basel only one small wine included. But too many trains in 7 days.And an incline walk to the station 5 days had to use my inhaler. Need to be very active. Hotel we stayed in Switzerland was lovely but nothing in the village. Also no bar to sit in after evening meal so bedtime before 9 pm. Not ideal for adults. The scenery on Glacier Express and Bernina was fantastic. But we did Bernina twice in one day. Once on regular train then back on Bernina train. We were a party of 4 and met some lovely people. But 2 of party will not do another train holiday. JB

amazing tour! they will really take care of your from beggining to end of the tour. we have been picked up and drop off to our hotel. comfortable and luxury shuttle. the food in the cruise is delicious. also we got the best tour guide Mr Trung. very informative and will really take care of you throughout the trip. highly recommended.

Amazing Experience!! Our guide Trung was extremely prepared, super fun. He looked after us since he came to pick us up at the hotel, till the very end! Awesome experience. One of the best excursions ever. Plus the place! Stunning !! I strongly recommend them!!

The views, nice food, the caves were amazing too. Drinks are expensive on the boats - maybe stock up with your own. We did not like the wine, either the red or the white. Lots of good food though. Cookery class was spring roll making. We went for a smaller sized boat and therefore group (18) which I guess could also enhance the experience. We were with a good group.

Great experience, professional organisation of the whole trip, a lot of interesting activities, friendly guide and the boat crew. Mr Bang made the trip unforgatable, very kind and friendly tour guide.

My mom and I had such an amazing time on this excursion! Our tour guide, Tuan, was very knowledgeable and a great story-teller. We were especially impressed with the boat crew who performed their tasks seamlessly that we didn’t even realize there were seven members until the end! They were also so accommodating of my mom’s dietary restrictions. All the food was prepared fresh, extremely delicious and served family style. We did so much in 2 days including visiting Sut Sot Cave, Ti Top Island and a Pearl Farm where we got to kayak. Last but not least, the VIEWS were breathtaking. Halong Bay is a must when visiting Vietnam and you really need to stay overnight to get the full experience. If you’re looking for an intimate experience, I would highly recommend this tour.

Good organised trip. A bit dated ship/rooms. A lot of different sorts of food, but not that deliciously prepared. We expected more from the cooking class of making spring rolls, which was just talking about how to roll the ingredients. The same remark for the fishing. But the natural beauties of Halong Bay are gorgeous, worth seeing in 2 days like this trip offers.

It advertises for air-con but there is no air-con before 5pm, after 5pm there is barely any, the whole trip is hot and sweaty. You’d be paying a service charge if you bring alcohol onboard and if you buy drinks on board it is soooooo over priced. Be careful.

I really have a good time onboard through Ha Long Bay! The landscape worth every single euro! The room was amazing with a great view and big windows to see outside, even on the toilet. The food was delicious , fresh and good portions always. Our guide Tom was very good leading us since Hanoi to the all activities in a very cheerfull way! I loved everything about this trip and I highly recommend to everyone. Especial for solo traveller you dont need to pay extra for a double room. Its perfect !

​I chose Cozy Cruise because they don't charge a single room supplement. They already have several single cabins, so I didn't need to pay extra ! This is really great for solo travellers. ​ Don’t bring 6l water. I was thinking of bringing 6 liters of water (a huge pet bottle) because the itinerary states that one bottle in the bus and another bottle of water in the cabin will be provided., which is not enough for 2 days but I didn't bring a huge pet bottle of water on my second though, it was a good choice. Plastic bottles (pet bottles) are not allowed to be brought in. When you board, your bag might be checked. (Although no one checked, it is supposed to be checked,, so be careful) Even in the Tito island I didn’t see water being sold if I didn't miss,,,,, (Coconut juice 50,000 etc) I chose Cozy Bay Cruise because I didn't need to pay extra for a single room supplement. They already have single rooms. Wonderful ! You will have a very detailed itinerary upon booking. The cruise goes exactly with the itinerary. There is no flexibility unfortunately, you will have 45 minutes - 60 minutes at each stop on the day 1. There are so many activities on the boat too on the night of day 1. After the dinner, karaoke and squid fishing. You will experience Tai Chi in the morning but it was a small group when I did this cruise and only 1 wanted to do tai chi, so it was cancelled. The schedule on day 2 is kind of rushed. After breakfast starting at 0700, you will have 45 minutes of kayaking from 0745. Then lunch is served around 1045. Then the boat will be back around 1200 or so. As the next guests (Passengers) will be checking in right away once your cruise is done, everything has to go on based on the detailed schedule. Check-out is 0930. While you eat lunch, crews will clean up the cabins. If you join this 1N/2D tour, bring your bathing suits. Also you might want to bring a dry bag as well for kayaking. You will have a beach time, they provided us with a beach towel. Food is enough. I enjoyed every meal. Luckily there were only 7 of us when I did this cruise. It must be really busy if it is fully booked. I would recommend you to do this cruise during weekdays

I just returned from the 2 day cruise and had a wonderful time. The staff were all extremely friendly and there were plenty of activities to keep us interested throughout the trip. Of course, Halong Bay itself was extremely beautiful.

The cruise was really nice. The rooms were small but clean and had everything you need. The food was really delicious but I would have liked more options for breakfast. The activities were okay only wished they were less touristy. The guide Tuan was very informative and helpful. He assisted me in getting a bus from Halong Bay to Ninh Binh and also encourage me to go kayaking when I was scared. Overall, I think it was a good value and I would recommend for people traveling on a budget.

Cozy is the perfect name for this cruise because it was just that- good sized group felt like a family by the end; sugar, the tour guide, was amazing and so friendly; and the rooms were very cute and cozy. It was the perfect way to enjoy Ha Long Bay. Cave excursion and kayaking were awesome and I loved the karaoke and squid fishing to keep us entertained at night. I highly recommend this cruise for anyone traveling to Ha Long Bay.

Our time on the cruise was better than expected. Activities are great and well scheduled. Surprising cave was a great surprise; it is HUGE, a must see. Ti Top Island - great view on the bay. Everyone on the cruise nice. Sugar, our tour guide - excellent. Funny, great info, involved. Food - good quality and plenty. Drinks - very reasonably priced. Because it is a small group tour (9 cabins) we also got to know many great people and had fun karaoke night together. In the end of the tour they give you 2 envelopes to tip the crew and tour guide. No pressure on that. Up to you. We tipped for their excellent work. I think they all deserve it. The only thing that could be improved is the transfer there. It was clean safe and quick, but not too comfortable (narrow seats) and AC was dripping on me on and off. Not too much, but time to time. It was better after I wiped it. But hey - it is a budget tour and the whole experience more than made up for the ride.

Excellent trip. Highly recommend. A must do cruise. Amazing rep (Sugar) he really got involved, went out of the way to ensure we enjoyed our trip. Decent size boat. Good rooms. Definitely do the 2 days 1 night. Rep spoke good english. Food is great, more than you can eat, catered for all needs. Had a great night of Kareoke. We were not sure which cruise to go on, I am so glad I went on this one. Made some great new friends from around the world. Sugar ensured we all got involved in activities and were comfortable at all time. We were singing into the night and the crew stayed up with us until we had enough. Reasonable price on drinks. Never complained or stopped us from enjoying. If I come back this will be my choice of cruise. Got picked up & dropped off to the hotel. You do have to start early but it is well worth it. The boat is very clean. Top deck has great view of the bay, with deck chairs. Learnt how to make spring rolls, it was fun. Full aircon. Shower with hot water at all time. Exceeded all my expectations. Dont go on the big ships as too many people. Had enough time on all excursions. Fully equipped wll safety gears.

Tuan, the guide is very helpful and organized the whole tour in such a nice way . He is highly recommended if anyone wants to visit halong . We had a wonderful time . I will come back to halong bay over and over .

The 3 star Cozy Bay Cruise exceeded my expectations. The Bay is beautiful and the activities were fun even though it was cloudy and a bit chilly. We also had time to relax on the boat which it seems you don't always get with these tours based on reviews of other tours. The cabin and bathroom were clean and a good size. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. Our guide Tam (Mr 3) was very informative, helpful and funny. He explained things upfront so we had time to move at our own pace at the attractions and on the boat. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The cruise was absolutely fantastic from the start all the way to the finish! Made to feel welcome by our tour guide (Minh) the whole time who was also really funny and always up for a laugh. Also provided some very good information on Vietnam’s history on the bus to the bay which was very interesting of course. 10/10 would definitely recommend👍🏼

Tam the travel guide was very nice and welcoming right away. During the bus trip he told us lots of facts regarding Hanoi and nearby provinces, he also told us stories about Ha Long Bay and all different kinds of legends. He was always in charge of the many activities and was always trying his best to give everyone an expierence of a life time. The crew was every good as well and helpful, always quick to act and very nice. The cabin was small but it was enough as most of the time was spent either at the restaurant or the roof. The activities were all really funny and the view from the top of Ti Top island was heaven-like. 100% worth every single dime to go on this cruise. Budget-friendly and lots to see and do.

Enjoyed the trip. All food included and options for veggies. Good activities. Would recommend the cruise. 2 days is enough time to see everything you want to. Not much relaxing time as you get to the boat approx 1pm and leave midday the next day.Tam our tourguide was so nice and friendly and had a lot of information about Ha Long Bay and his English was very good! Very helpful and booked us a different bus as we wanted to go somewhere else.

Excellent trip! Great 3 Star boat. Excellent, knowledgeable tour guide Tuan. Great host and good command of English. Best group of people on board. Clean, great service. From the meals, to the cooking lesson, to the karaoke and squid fishing, kayaking and visiting the pearl farm was top class. Def worth doing.

We went as a group of three and had an excellent time on the cruise. The activities were well thought out and the rooms were comfortable. Dun was also an engaging, knowledgeable and entertaining guide and always did everything he could to ensure everyone had a good time. And of course, Ha Long Bay was absolutely stunning.
