Loan, our guide, is so knowledgeable and considerate. My friend has many food allergies and Loan is so accommodating to work around her needs yet able to intoduce us to a variety of scrumptious local foods. I love the double fried spring rolls, fresh local beer, and BBQ pork banh mi. Loan knows her way around so well and is friends with the owners of these favored diners and street food vendors. We have had a lovely time, and highly recommend Loan as a local Hanoi guide!

Ruby was a fabulous guide for our family of six (2 adults, 1 teen and 3 young adults). We chose a private evening walking food tour and saw many sights, heard background stories and tasted an amazing array of Hanoi food. Trang was an amazing food guide. She took us to amazing spots and customized to what we like and our adventure level. I am also Gluten Free and she did a great job picking spots I could enjoy the bites. Not only did we learn so much about the food but also Hanoi. She was very warm and easy to talk with. We could have spent more time with her if we could have. We would book another tour with her if we go back and highly recommend her. We had amazing eel noodles, Spring Rolls, tasty skewers, doughnuts, Pho, and Bhan Mi (for my husband). One of our favorite days! Thank you Trung.

Liên was great, very knowledgeable and interesting and clearly proud of her country and the city she lives in. We had a really fun time with her and she had carefully worked out the route and menu to take into account my wife’s vegetarian dietary requirements. We felt bad because we couldn’t manage to eat everything, but we got some packages to take away for later so all good. Would definitely recommend Liên to anyone.

Well worth doing the street food tour with Lien. She designs a tour based on your food tastes and she she really thinks about what foods you would like to try. We tried 10 items in total and went to places my family and I would never have thought to go. Just an overall amazing experience and Lien is a seriously lovely person!

We had a gourmet treat tasting the Hanoi street food with Ruby. As we wandered the narrow streets Ruby taught lots about the Vietnamese cuisine - then we started the tastings. Fabulous food and a great variety - it was a privilege to share this experience with Ruby. Our only problem was there was so much to try - Ruby helped out! I finished off the tour with an amazingly rich Egg Hot Chocolate (an alternative to the famous Egg Coffee). Great time in the company of Ruby - we had already spent the morning together on another walking tour. We highly recommend Ruby for Hanoi walking tours.

We - a family of 6 adults - had a wonderful food tour with Anne. She was patient, very informative, took us to an amazing variety of venues to taste many different foods. She explained the intricacies of eating safely in Vietnam and provided us with details of the restaurants/venues we had visited. We went back several times for meals over the next few days. We made a great choice of guide with Anne. We would happily repeat the experience on another visit to Vietnam.

Lien was a delightful host, who made sure we didn't just get a generic experience, but catered to our preferences and family dynamic. We were very tired from jet lag, but she kept our energy up and made sure that we had great advice to ensure we found good food options when by ourselves. We even bumped into her the next day and she guided us to a donut place we had been asking about. I highly recommend her.

Anne was such joy to experience the night food with her. Her American English was so good it was like speaking to the girl next door. Honai night street was bustling and there were so many delicious meals, too numerous to give reviews. I would give 10/10 all around. A must do. Lien was really friendly and fun to be with for the evening. It was great to be able to ask her about what we were eating and she knew her stuff. Only minus was we had booked the tour to start at 6 and that’s a bit late for the best street food, it turned out.

I can't think of a better guide to guide one through the different tastes of the city, with a dash of history & culture throw in. Our kids are still talking about how great this tour with Ruby was! Ruby was in contact with us and replying to our questions and requests from the moment we booked which was fantastic and even alleviated our concerns about the typhoon, in the lead up to our trip. We ate at three Michelin star places, there was so much variety, and good portion sizes so we didn't feel too full too soon. She helped our kids with road crossings, was personable, easy to talk to, and she knew so much to share with us about the city, not just the food. The food options were great, and she showed us how to put the foods together which was always a mystery to us. She was professional, warm, friendly and was excellent customer service.

Thanks to Lien, we explored the street food of Hanoi in a greater depth ,than if we chose to do it ourselves. We ate in places that the locals know better and that are not so touristy. She also speaks excellent English, which made it easy for us to learn about the cuisine techniques, as well as general topics regarding the Vietnamese life. Not to mention of course that our bellies were full after the tour We are grateful!

Our tour guide operator Leanne was fantastic! This tour really gives you a true experience of the sites sounds and flavors of Hanoi and Vietnamese food. Our guide really took us to some really exceptional local places. We had bang mi and pho. Tour took place primarily in the old quarter. We did this tour and then we did the Motorbike tour by Backstreets. I’d highly recommend doing both as a complement each other and you see completely different things.

Found hidden gems and tasted local dishes I never tasted before. Because this was my second time in Vietnam, I thought I tasted a lot already, but this was still surprising.

Walking around Hanoi with Trang as our guide was a deeply rewarding experience. She is an excellent conversationalist and well informed about the city's history and food culture. She introduced us to more food than we could possibly eat in one day, but we enjoyed every bite. She spoke English beautifully and was an excellent host. She's a lovely person too. She gave us all the secrets to making each meal perfect, garlic vinegar in the Pho, but not in the Bun Cha - it has the raw garlic. Where to get the best Banh Mi, or spring rolls or the secrets to how they make the fermented pork rolls. At the end, we were full, but had had an amazing time. Lien even gave us some more places to go on our own. Cannot rate this tour highly enough.

This walking food tour was amazing from start to finish. We were met by our fabulous host Lien in the Old Quarter before heading off on a foodies paradise of different Vietnamese foods. Lien tailored the food to our likes, but also we got to try some things that we have never had before. You definitely need to bring your appetite because there is a lot of food. Me and my wife shared all of our dishes and still couldn’t eat it all. Lien was great company, very easy to talk to and had a very friendly personality. Highly recommended!

Ruby was absolutely wonderful and made my son and I feel more at home in this beautiful city! From showing us how to cross the street, to future recommendations on where to eat and what to see or do, this was money well spent. Not to mention the treat of being taken to multiple Michelin star restaurants, she even helped us get a ride back to our hotel in the pouring rain!
