An amazing tour! Elena was a fantastic guide - she was super friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. As a vegetarian with a group of meat eaters I’d resigned myself to sitting out of a few tastings - but Elena had built a tour that seemed personal to our requirements and I was able to eat at every stop whilst the others had meat too. I learnt so much. 150% recommend!

Dina was a very helpful guide! She made sure we had lots of traditional Vietnamese food and that we learned a bit about the culture while we were at it!

We had Apple as a guide. She was so nice and a very happy person - her energy and smile was contagious. She made sure that we were all full and if there was something that we couldn’t eat, because of allergies/preference, she made sure to tailor the trip to our liking. I had an amazing time on this Hanoi street food walking tour. Apple, our guide, was fantastic. So knowledgeable about Vietnamese cuisine and culture, and genuinely kind throughout the tour. She introduced us to hidden local gems that we definitely wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Each stop featured delicious, authentic dishes, and Apple’s explanations made the experience even richer. Highly recommend this tour. We booked a private tour with Elena who was simply fantastic. She was very knowledgeable, super fun, and approachable. We did this on our first night and it was the perfect introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. This gave us the confidence to know what we are ordering, especially in small authentic places. Everything that we ate was delicious, and we were taught how to build our meals.

We had a wonderful time with Elena and truly enjoyed the experience of the night markets and introduction to unique Vietnamese food. We went back to the ice cream place five times!! And the egg coffee we had was the best we tried. It was such a great way to be introduced to Hanoi and become confident with its street food. Also - it was excellent for our big family group.

We had so much fun doing this tour. Our guide, Tina was fabulous, full of energy, kept it fun throughout. The food was delicious, our particular highlights were making our own rice paper salad rolls and Bun cha. Tina taught us lots of Vietnamese words & told us about the city. We are a family of six, so a private tour worked really well. And we were really full at the end!!

The tour was amazing and we were able to try all the signature dishes of Hanoi and North Vietnam . Apple, our tour guide, did a good job explaining the history of the food as well as how it is made. Her english was excellent which made it easy to understand her. Would highly recommend this tour. The total trip time was roughly 2.5 hours.

Tina was amazing! All the explanations about the history of the food we ate and the history of Vietnam was a great bonus. All the food we tried was really good and Tina did a great job with guiding us through the busy streets of the old quarter. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to Hanoi for the first time!

We had a great time with Elena on the tour! She is so friendly and knowledgeable, and we were so happy to learn about different kinds of food (all delicious) that we can go back and try again. Before the tour we wouldn’t have known how to order these foods or where to get them. We just wished we could eat more during the tour! Highly recommend doing this tour early in your trip so you can go back and eat more from these places when you have time!
