Tasting 8 Different Hanoi Street Foods At Noon Time

We had an amazing trip with Apple! She was so friendly and informative and the food was delicious! We stopped at lots of places and she took the time to tell us about the food and show us how they are enjoyed. She answered all of our questions and gave us a very helpful list for recommendations and places to try for the rest of our stay. We would definitely recommend booking with Apple for a food tour!

Apple showed us a few yummy local spots and we left feeling super duper satisfied. The tour was around 3 hours and we enjoyed every moment. The admission fee was totally worth it! It was the perfect start to our trip in Vietnam to learn about different foods and how to eat them along with their history.

We loved our lunch time food tour with Elena! She explained all of the foods and history very well, and answered all of our questions. Some highlights were buns cha, rice flour donuts and green papaya salad.

This was an amazing experience and I would highly suggest! Our amazing tour guide Tina was so fun and full of facts. We learnt so much while enjoying the delicious food. The shops we went to and the people we met were amazing as well as the street train. It is great for families and couples but does include a lot of walking so bring your walking shoes. The restraints we went to were incredible and I would visit them again.

Tina was amazing, so enthusiastic and eager to share but also learn about us and our interests to tailor the information she could share with us. The food was great, we were so full afterwards and it was a great variety.

Tina did an excellent tour and gave us plenty of information. She was very animated and enthusiastic in her tour. All the food was good, especially the sticky rice with ice cream.

Our tour guide Apple was a delight. She took us to so many places in as few hours, trying foods we would not have otherwise been brave enough to try. Explained the story behind the foods we were eating. Small group experience was much better than a large tour going to all the “ touristy “ venues we saw walking around old quarter.

Apple was a great host, very informative and taught us how food was prepared and eaten. We learnt lots of food facts as well as lifestyle and Vietnamese customs.

It was excellent. Our guide Apple was very friendly and introduced us to a number of tasty spots within the old quarter of Hanoi.

Our tour was amazing! The food we had was very unique (eg: the sand worm pancake). Our tour guide Elena was the sweetest person ever! She was very informative, and mindful of our wants and needs. Often asking questions to see how we were doing, and even adapted one or two stops to fit things we expressed interest in. Leaving this feeling very happy and satisfied, especially with my belly. If you have been looking for a food tour, I’d book with this company :)))))

This experience was great, you got to try such a large range of food types from desserts, lunches, dinners, snacks, the lot! Elena was a great host, the price was very reasonable for the amount of food we got, and I think the time frame of 3 hours was more than enough to get the full experience. The experience tried some very local spots without english menus, as well as some Michelin guide recommended food, all feeling very relaxed and authentic. My girlfriend and I did a private tour with just the 2 of us, and we highly recommend this more intimate version.

Would 100% recommend. Elena was excellent in showing us the best ‘off the beaten track’ food places. Do not eat breakfast and I doubt you’ll need dinner too. Perfect.

We were lucky enough to be guided by the very knowledgeable and friendly Apple, who was an incredible tour guide. We did the noon time tour with Elena and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get a good sample of Vietnamese street foods, and Elena was great to talk to, educating us on Vietnamese food, drink, history, and even her home town’s favorite dish of mice! We did the private tour which was slightly more money (about $30 USD instead of $20), but felt it was very worth it to get a better experience and conversation with our host.

We went on an 3 Hour Foodtour with Apple and it was amazing. We tried a lot of local dishes and drinks. I would recommend this tour to everybody! Apple was an amazing food Guide and er had a lot of fun.

Had the greatest experience joining the food tour with Elena. Everything was so tasty and they also made a special vegeterian dish for me, if necessary. We also has a lovely group and so much fun. I absolutely recommend doing this tour!

We had such a great tour with Miss Elena today! She expertly navigated us through the Hanoi streets and cuisine; not a small feat with 5 young children in tow! She was knowledgeable and kind and we really enjoyed our afternoon spent together. Our kids’ favorite food was the Nam Cuon (fresh spring rolls) and the adults enjoyed the Bun Cha (soup). We also loved that she offered us the option to try some more adventurous things and had options for some of the kids who weren’t willing to try. Overall a great day and way to see Hanoi as a family!
