We showed up 10 minutes past showtime, worried we would not be let in. With a quick call to the company, we were directed to go to the front of will call where the usher had our names and tickets. We booked about 3 hours before showtime and are super happy we found this experience on Viator!

Prices are reasonable and the cooling in the trains is the best I have been in any Metro anywhere in the world. Staff are polite at the customer service and very helpful. A bit worried about how to use the system but staff and public so lovely and helpful it wasn't a problem. Trains themselves spotless, quiet, respectful and on time with clear signage inside and speaker messages.

Out of Bangkok International Airport there is an Airport Train to the City and from the City. BTS skytrain is your friendly tourist mode to transport you to other places to visit...Try it ..its easy and very convenient.
I suppose we are one of a thousand or so tourists a day using the rail. The system to get tickets is easy, with access to service staff at the stations always available. The platform directions are super easy, just follow the train schedules posted on the wall. A very modern and reliable mode connecting the main tourist locations. Access to the subway through connecting hubs is easy to understand. And of course travelling like a local means very inexpensive.

With the roads being as chaotic as they are, we ruled out the Tuk Tuk’s, choosing instead to get around by BTS. So simple to use, very clean and cheap aswell. Only drawback is you may have to walk a bit further to get to a station rather than hailing a taxi or tuk tuk.
Quite a cool and easy way to get around Bangkok. Much better than being stuck in a taxi in the daily traffic around the city. You can buy single use tickets and just tap in on way to train and insert card to get out when exiting. The train announces the stations in both Thai and English
I highly rate these trains. Because they are elevated they don't have any travel congestion problems and they have the double entrance doors at many of the busier stations. I travelled between Victory Monument and Mo Chit to go to the Chatuchak Weekend Markets. cost 35 THB each way. Smooth and efficient

We were lucky enough to have the sky train right outside our hotel.We only used it when we were told at the last moment that our 7.5km trip to a meeting point would be impossible by taxi in an hour!!!!!!!!Right we have to work this out.Somewhat confusing at first but with the help of the staff and beautiful Thai people using the system we soon worked it out.Exceedingly cheap and can get you just about anywhere in Bangkok.If you miss one dont worry there is another one in a few minutes.We never had to wait.Get yourself a rail line map and work out where you need to be and just get on.Take a wrong line,no problem,just back track.Next time we are in Bangkok we will use it all the time instaed of worrying about taxis

It really good to zip around town but check how close you are to the Saen Saep canal boat pier because it might serve you better to ride it depending on where you are in town.

Easy to use and navigate. For international tourist, please bring your passport if you want to buy Rabbit Card. It’s like prepaid card and cost the same as locals. Otherwise.. you can buy one way ticket from the machine. BTS is fully aircon, clean and comfortable ride. Faster than going around by taxi or tuk tuk. Just be mindful .. Not all station has lift or escalator I think. I’m recovering from fractured knee and had to to go by stairs in some station. Overall… very handy transport and comfortable in Bangkok hot days.

Great rapid transit in Bangkok. Regardless of your designation the Skytrain is probably your best option even if a short cab ride from the station will be needed to complete your journey, The cars are extremely well air conditioned and routs are abundant

The BTS service is clean and very reliable. All trains services in Bangkok and Thailand are of a very high standard. There is no eating or drinking on any public day to day trains in Bangkok so the whole train is clean and very bright. The ac -air conditioner is at a suitable standard for all public yusers of the bts service and other trains also the signs around the stations are easy to see and give excellent directions. The station and trains are also accessbile for disabled persons and wheel chair and pram chairs for young children and babies. Are great train service.
