Totally charming and highly recommended, the musicians, singers and puppeteers are 5star! Only reason for my 4star rating is that they continued to let in late comers 15mins into the show spoiling it for everyone near the front with low numbered seating. Poor show from organisers, outstanding from performers ⭐️

A delightful puppet show, so clever and entertaining. Great value attraction in Hanoi, would thoroughly recommend but book ahead as it gets very busy.
Water puppets were great- not sure this service is fully worth it though…. Seats were pretty bad, wish I could’ve picked it on my own
Well the tickets never arrived to my email . I couldn’t access them on line and they would let me in even if I showed them I paid
Glad we didn't miss this - very unique and fun for all ages. Worth fitting into a Hanoi visit. Amazing to see puppeteers at end of show
Very good service, friendly staff. Quick ticket delivery. Consulting on the program carefully. The theater is very beautiful, everyone. I really feel good when using the service here.
I am very busy coming to Vietnam. Continuous schedule, no time to buy tickets, so booked online. The results are more than expected. Arrive at the place to receive tickets. Good service. I love Vietnam
I should have watched puppets sooner. Going to Hanoi 3 times, but first watching water puppet. Everyone should try. Well, if you see, you should order online. Not in line
Last night I finished watching the show. The program is very good, everyone should buy an interpreter headset. And order online. Come just get tickets, do not have to queue to buy tickets
If you have young children, you should order online, not in line. Come find staff and they will give tickets. Fast and convenient service. Wonderful
We purchased 2 VIP tickets, which were “confirmed”. Showed up almost an hour before the show started and they said they were sold out and that the tickets we paid for were not actually available.
I live downtown Chicago and do not take mass transit so I was a bit wary at first but I decided to give the BTS a try after being in BKK a few times. It was easier and quicker than I thought. Much better than sitting in traffic in a taxi or tuk-tuk.
fast ,efficient ,clean ,and cheap. Use the BTS Skytrain to get around Bankok ,it will be a good resource to your traveling in the city.
Fastest mode of transport if you are going to go away from you destination for 30 minutes. If you are two or less than this is a very cheap mode of transport. We used it to go to see Wat Arun. Got in from Arun station and got out just a walking distance from the temple. Used it also several times more. Would highly recommend use of it.
It is a wonderful alternative to traveling in the city of Bangkok. Sometimes the cars are Tokyo cramped, many times not. There are seats for seniors and disabled. Thais are polite and give up their seats for those needing one. 3/4 of the folks are on their phones... no problem. You can switch from the BTS to the MRT very easy. Maybe someday they will make the two transportation systems with a similar pay system. Love it all.!
For foreigners, it is cheap though I think for locals it is a bit too expensive - 30-80 bahts per journey. There is no connection amongst the different lines, the payments need to be made in cash, no bulk ticketing etc. The metro cars are big, enough spaces for many people, it can take you quickly to the other part of the city. The air-condition works on very low temperature, so I was cold sometimes..
Most helpful transpo on bangkok very helpful less traffic when roaming aroubd bangkok. Ang very cheap .
Why wouldn't you take this train? This assume you are going into Bangkok of course. Bangkok traffic can be terrible and this train is cheap. You may still need a cab when you get to your stop, but this is the way to go.
We rode the BTS sky trains several times during our 5 days stay in Bangkok. The trains are new and clean. The train stations are also labelled with an alphabet-numeric system (for example, S3, S6) making it easy to remember the stops. It gets to the destination fast, and it's also fun watching the city streets below with all the shops, people, and traffic. The BTS lines are connected to the MTR lines (subway). Since the tickets between the two systems are different - the BTS uses a plastic card, and the MTR uses round tokens, allow time to completely exit from one, walk over (go down and up, then fo up and down) to enter the other, purchase new tickets, etc. Maybe the locals have other payment options if they use the two regularly?
We masked up and caught the BTS from our godsons neighborhood to the BIG weekend market. It was efficient and easy. Mostly in Bangkok we used Grab (like Uber) but for this occasion BTS was great.
Great value for money,60,bhat and we were on the train for almost 2 Hours going back and forth, completely lost lol, however we eventually sussed it!!!Trains spotless clean , fast and safe, helpful guards and cheap. Some steep stairs!! On entry hand sanitizer for all to use .
We found the trains easy to use, extremely cost effective and it was nice that they are air conditioned.
I loved the BTS in Bangkok - much more so than using the tube in my native London. The BTS is quick, clean, properly air-conditioned, and - best of all - dirt cheap. I travelled from my hotel in Sukhumvit (Ashok station) to the pier at Tha Sathorn (Saphan Taksin) for the grand sum of 44 Bhat - just over £1. The service was quick and comfortable, with stations announced in both Thai & English, and with easy to read flashing tube station indicators - so no danger of getting lost. The interchange between the E/W and N/S lines at Siam Central was also very easy. TfL could certainly learn a trick or two from the BTS operation. Best used outside of peak rush-hours - i.e.after 10.00am
I have been several times in Bangkok and always use Skytrain if possible. It is easy o buy tickets and staff speak English. Trains are clean and announcements and signs are also in English. Sometimes trains are quite full but usually no problem. Use station signs to plan your journey.
I was in Bangkok until early March and in spite of the difficulties experienced throughout Asia due to health issues and relative concerns,I found to travel by skytrain safe and comfortable. Thai people are usually very polite and constitute 90% of the passengers at that time. The vast majority was wearing a mask and behaving and acting with caution. The sky tain is efficient, fast and never experience significant problems, even if sometimes to be In Siam station at the week end,is overwhelming experience because too crowded! One negative side is represented by the low air conditioning, which can be overcome by standing near the doors or in the middle of two carriages, where there is no air coming from the ceiling! The train lines are in continue expansion and allow to visit also the new residential and commercial areas of bangkok especially the ones south of the airport, prior to reaching the city centre. Prices are on the rise.......as everything else in the city!!!!! but still ok,for now! MRT is cheaper..... Enjoy BTS then, when you are in BKK!
all day pass is only 140 bht and good for unlimited trips from 0600-2400 all stations have a map showing sights you can visit within waliking distance
Excellent - as clean as Singapore - but people more courteous We weren't 100% sure about connecting trains and every person we happened to as, was very kind to explain and get us on the right track
This is the OnLY way to travel in Bangkok. If you go onto the road you are dicing with death. They drive like maniacs and often all you can hire are tuk tuks which are incredibly dangerous especially if you end up in an accident. No thanks. Be safe. Be smart. Take the Skytrain
The BTS makes it so easy to travel around Bangkok. It's fast. Cheap. Convenient. Best of all, you don't have to sit in nightmare traffic! I have been to Bangkok several times and always taken the BTS. Once I tried to take the metro, but the line for the ticket counter took 20 minutes to move just 5 feet, so I left. I never have this problem with the BTS. I now always try to stay close to a BTS station. The BTS is always crowded, but lines move quickly. I never expect to get a seat on the more popular routes. Getting on is very organized (you stand where indicated until passengers have exited). Purchasing tickets and finding your way around is pretty easy. Sometimes it's confusing with the numbered exits (I have often exited out to the wrong street), and at one of the larger stations I got on the wrong BTS. But I got off at the next stop and went back. No biggie. The BTS stations also work well as overpasses to cross busy roads. The whole Siam area allows you to get off the BTS and walk above the city. Very convenient. Overall I feel very safe taking the BTS. I often took it late in the evening, alone. Never any worries. If you don't like to sit in traffic, the BTS is the way to go. From BKK I take the airport rail link and then connect to the BTS.
Took the BTS Skytrain from the Marriott Surawongse area to Siam Paragon - three convenient stops close to the hotel, one with shuttle from the hotel and two within a ten minute walk. Fast transport to major shopping mall area. Cars clean, not crowded mid-day, and nice to see more of Bangkok from the air (versus an underground subway in other world cities).
Having traveled this transport extensively, I recommend this transport to anyone everyone wanting to get around Bangkok. Although during heavy traffic periods the train cars can get severely crowded, its still the best mode of transport, having trains every 5 minutes during heavy traffic hours.
Easy and convenience to avoid the heavy traffic in Bankok. You wait not long and it is not so crowded .
It is limited to 2 lines but it is very clean and prompt, highly recommend - you can take the elevator from one of the many malls around it. It’s all air conditioned, which is so welcome due to the heat year round.
People who have been to Bangkok can never ever forget the BTS which connects all major attractions in the city including the airport transfers. The government of Thailand had done a commendable job in developing the system and it stands NO.1 in terms of support to the tourists and well as the local population. As you know, Bangkok’s traffic can be really chaos and it takes hours to cover small distance if you travel by taxi or bus. The BTS is a great relief for the people to commute effortlessly. The networks connects 90% of the major attractions in Bangkok city and nobody can be lost by relying on these smart trains. I recommend all tourists to completely make use of BTS while you at Bangkok then traveling in taxi which can hit your pocket or in the fancy Tuk Tuk where you will be exposed to the nasty city pollution. Cheers to BTS..!!
BTS skytrain ja easy to use with simple ticketing and maps. There are also plenty of helpful members of staff on the system.
The sky train is the best and fastest way to get around the city. Each station has a ticket office to help you with ticket information and platform to use. The trains are clean and safe.
El espectáculo en general me encantó, es visita obligatoria en Hanoi. La música en especial fue genial.
It is very convenient while you are in Bangkok. BTS and MRT each have Suica-like passes so it's easy to get on and off. I don't know anything about traffic, so I can go anywhere.
We are used to using Metro abroad, but skytrain works completely differently, for everyday travelers. We have to buy the ticket to the station where we are going, and then buy the ticket again when we are going back. We got on the wrong train, so the train went the wrong way, when we discovered it, we got off and took the right train, but now we didn't have the ticket! We were kept back and had difficulty telling what had happened to DR. We had to pay for a new ticket, it was now more expensive since we had to drive one station more. We don't understand that because we didn't drive what we paid for. So be extremely attentive to what route the train runs. Once we first get to know the rules and maybe buy some kind of pentler cards it is probably as easy as in other countries. But it was an unpleasant experience to be held back.
There is a lot of traffic jams depending on the time of day in Bangkok, so if you get caught up in this, it can be frustrating to use a taxi or something. In that respect, BTS is a good way to get around, regardless of the traffic. If you use the Rabbit Card, a card similar to Japanese watermelon and icosa, you can use it smoothly without buying more tickets.
It was a beautiful modern train. The English description made it easy to understand how to get on the train and guide the passengers on the platform, and it was easy to make purchases at the counter. There is a one-day free ticket, so I think a free ticket is convenient when sightseeing
Essential during the day to move around the center. Safe, fast and cheap. Panoramic view
No means of transport in Bangkok will get you to your destination so quickly and cheaply. The trains are top clean , so KVB Cologne could treat itself to an internship. Very punctual and fast train sequence on one line.
I bought a BTS one-day free ticket at the service counter. With this, you don't have to buy it at the ticket machine every time, so traveling all day is convenient. However, there were only two windows, and the line was amazing.
The Skytrain is present almost everywhere in Bangkok. We used it mainly for the way from the airport to the hotel. For 90 Baht (about 3 euros) per person you can get from the airport to the central Sathorn Pier. The Express line is currently under construction and not usable. The normal line takes about 40 minutes into the city. The only drawback is that there are different operators of the lines. So you have to see which lines belong together. But that too is really foolproof solved. Everywhere there are vending machines where you select the starting and ending points on a touchscreen. Once you have paid, you get a card or chip that allowed access. Make sure to pick up the card or chip, because at the end point you have to return it. Otherwise you can't get out. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage, you should be prepared for one or the other power show when changing trains, because there are not lifts everywhere, so you have to drag your suitcases upstairs.
I feel that Southeast Asia is a modern train that makes me feel that it is no longer a developing country. Ride using tokens or cards. It is easy to understand how to get on the train and how to get on the platform, and you can fully enjoy the sightseeing atmosphere just by looking at the view from the window.
The procedure is the same: climb the escalator from any station, buy a ticket, go through the automatic ticket gate and get on the train. Prices vary depending on distance. Prices are posted just visible from the ticket machine, so look for the station name of your destination. Ticket machines are only available in coins, so if you don't have coins, go to the counter next to the ticket gate and they'll scrape them. If you wait a minute, the train will come right away, like the Japanese subway. It's cool in the car, so I'll take a breather of relief. It cost over 180 baht to take a taxi through traffic to Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) next to BTS Bang Na station, but on the way back BTS was a quick way back to the city. BTS was also faster when I went to Maabung Klong Centre (MBK). You can enjoy seeing the stadium from the train window and the place you can't usually see from the land. I almost drank a lot of plastic bottled drinks, but they say you can't eat or drink in the car.
The BTS Skytrain in Bangkok is probably the best and easiest way to get from A to B in Bangkok. Without traffic jams and at reasonable prices.
A little expensive. Clean because few lines. More people than before. Young people less polite than before despite the information indicating to make room for the elderly, pregnant women, children...
Avoids traffic jams and a lot of connections between stops Convenient and cheap To be advised
