Wow Scenery to die for. But damn it’s hot Take a hat and sun screen It’s a long bus ride and we should have done more than one night but our mistake Getting into Sa Pa we were dropped late for lunch at the Bora Hotrl which was very nice then meeting our guide we then left our luggage with our driver who dropped us by a track just outside the centre. Then the 8/9km trek started Bit of down but it was a mixture and boy did my calves and quads feel it ( especially the next day ) but after about 4 hours and the sun starting to set we made it to our homestay. This was lovely, a nice restaurant fit food and drink and then we were shown to our individual bungalow, great bed and bathroom. Up for breakfast then a small trek of 4km for 3 hours / why well this was mainly up hill first ( beautiful bamboo forest )and it’s a little harder than the first day . Finally on a straight flat stretch you make your way back to your home stay and get your lift back to Sa Pa and then back to Hà Nội . If I would book this again I would choose a few more days do I could explore Sa Pa more.

We had a marvelous day trekking in the Sapa mountains Ith our great guide Giang Thi Khu. Wonderful nature, rice Fields, villages…
The entire tour was amazing with a 12km trek into Sapa and it was mind blowing... Our Guide AI She was amazing spoke extremely good English and was so informative and helpful in some wet and challenging muddy areas....I had a blast...laughing all the time and the views were phenomenal... Day 2 went for a 5 km walk past cat cat village into Ly thi Du and it was a beautiful way to see the farms and local life! Learnt lots about the uses for plants on the side of the road that they use everyday with medicinal uses and as a horticulturalist it was great to see the local way of life! Please if you get a good guide tip them Something as they truly appreciate every little bit extra! I took AI for a massage and gave her a nice tip....she was amazing and deserves a raise! Thank you for an incredible time i will return to beautiful Sapa! 🙏
Great experience with the group. Trip captain was superb.guided us very well. Would recommend to take the tours. Thank you.
The experience didn’t start out great for us. We had some bad experiences with the shared limousines. We were picked up and taken to a stop, then told to change to a different car. There was limited English and we were told the car would arrive in 15 minutes. We waited for about 30 minutes then got into this other car, no information as to what was going on. When we got to Sapa, the driver dropped off the other passengers to different hotels then asked us where we were going. We were confused as we weren’t given any details for a hotel or where to meet the tour guide. I tried messaging the trip operator and calling multiple times no answer. We tried calling the company and spoke to someone, but they didn’t seem to understand what was happening. We ended up being dropped at a hotel and told to wait there 15 minutes. We waited in the cold for 60 minutes trying to figure out what was going on. By this point it was 2pm and we hadn’t had lunch or been given directions for lunch. Ended up getting in touch with the tour operator who was great and sorted it out for us. For us to go into the hotel eat lunch and wait for the tour guide. She was apologetic and offered us a private guided trek instead of the group to which we accepted. The trek was amazing, a once in a lifetime experience. Was difficult and 1/2 of it was complete mud (so be prepared). There is a lot of slipping and a lot of difficult sections. If you don’t have proper boots make sure you take the option to hire the gumboots. Homestay was amazing no complaints there. On our trip home we had another bad experience with the limousine. He picked up 2 Vietnamese passengers along the way and proceeded to drop them to their hotels before us, which added another 1 hour to our already very long trip. We were tired and just wanted to get back and shower. There was also no communication as to what was going on, he was just driving around the city and dropping them off. Overall; would I recommend yes. But be prepared!
The trip was perfect. Everything was well organised and worked out perfectly. Our guide Ai was super friendly and nice. She knew a lot of inside information and let us feel welcome and save all the time. Would totally recommend it and would do it again.
The overall experience of the Sa Pa tour was incredible. We were shown around the villages by our tour guide May and she was very helpful and her English was excellent if you are in Vietnam it is a must see
This was a great experience but a few stars removed because of the lack of information up front and bad shared limousine experiences. I still recommend this trip for the remote trek and local guide provided. What to expect (quick version): Day 1 morning, shared limousine van from Hanoi to Sapa Hotel luggage check in, lunch provided. Take items for overnight at homestay and day 2 trek Trek ~ 3 hours through remote parts of Sapa and towards homestay village Homestay overnight, dinner and breakfast provided Day 2 trek towards another village through bamboo forest and waterfall. There is more paved road option during day 2 for weary travelers from day 1 Lunch provided at next village, take transportation back to hotel to gather any luggage you left there, then take final shared limousine van back to Hanoi First, this is not an "Easy" trek. You should plan for 3 hours each day of moderate hiking. The guide can change parts of the trek depending on the group but there are some switch back type parts of the trek. Transportation - We were provided a shared limousine van (11 seater) to and from Sapa from Hanoi. Each experienced varied and overall was okay. Our first van ride had additional guests who were constantly on their phones and our second ride back to Hanoi was more tightly packed with luggage in seats and aisle. Itinerary - Some of the details was not included in the original itinerary. When we got to Sapa, we checked our luggage in at a local hotel. They stored our luggage and provided us with our first included lunch from some choices from a set menu. The lunch was good. Then we met with our local guide, Lala, who provided the details for our itinerary. We would trek with her towards our homestay in another village. We had two other groups with us who were doing one day trek and they would get a ride back to the hotel once we reached the village. The trek was amazing and as mentioned, expect a moderate level of exercise while hiking this first part. Other local women joined us to help guide us through the trek but note they will be trying to sell you their local craft items, pretty aggressively towards the end of the trek when you reach the final village. Our trip was in summer so we also had several kids along the way selling items as well. There were several rest stops along the way which was nice, one of them had water, snacks, and other drinks but be mindful these items cost money. You should always ask how much something is before taking it, whether food or souvenirs. Our homestay was nice and we had originally requested 3 separate rooms for our group. The homestay is rustic, we had a fan and mosquito net over our bed in each room. Bathrooms and showers were just outside the rooms. Fortunately it wasn't too hot the night when we were there. The homestay family was very nice and attentive. Dinner and breakfast next day was included in the trip package cost and were very good and once again varied. You pay for any additional drinks or snacks you order from their menu. Day 2 started with rain and some in our group were very tired from the day 1 trek and opted to stay behind and meet the rest at the next destination, a restaurant for lunch. This was a separate fee we paid that the homestay helped us arrange. Day 2 trek included a nice moderate trek through a bamboo forest and waterfall. Our guide asked if we wanted any other local assistance during this trip but also reminded us that they would try and sell items and we opted to ask her to let them know we didnt need any additional assistance or interested in buying anything else. The trek finished at another village where we had lunch (also included in the package) and then a shared van back to the first hotel where we left our luggage. They also provided us with a shower and then we took our final shared limousine ride back to Hanoi. Final thoughts - the trek was great and we got to see the more remote and village side of Sapa. The views were fantastic along the way. Our guide Lala was so nice, spoke very good english, and made our experience very memorable. I would recommend this trip if you want to see beautiful landscapes and have a moderate trek through Sapa.
Mú was our amazing guide for our two day tour. She provided a lot of knowledge on the Sa Pa area and helped us not slip down the mountain in the rain. Highly recommend Mú to be your guide for this tour!!
Amazing 2 days with our tour guide Mu, she was awesome. Trekking through the rice paddies & visiting numerous villages, it was raining the whole time but the experience was phenomenal. 10/10 tour & and guide.
Mu was a great guide who got locals to help us not fall when we were on wet and slippery terrain.....
Great guide, fantastic landscape. Did a two day treking with fabulous landscape throughout the trek and fantastic guide.
We spent an impressive time in contact with nature. We walked (a lot haha, but such a good thing) with Mu as she explained to us all we were seeing in our way: how the communities live, which plants grow here, etc. We saw bucolic and hidden landscapes and tried to understand the habits :)
We are a 6-person group spending 3 days in Sapa. Mu ,our guide, is very nice and helpful. She speaks english perfectly and fluently. We totally recommend it!!!
Hi, I went to a guide tour with my friends and Mu was our guide for three days. We all do trekking for different villages and know a lot of different things about Vietnam and his costumes. Mu was a lovely person and she worried about us all the time. I recommendable this tour and this guide 100% if you want to visit and learn about Vietnam.
Beatifull trekking in the middle of the rice camps and bambú forest. Nice guide named Mu walk with us all the time amb answer all yours questions. Great spirience
Our guide (Mu) was very nice. She answered all of our questions while we were trekking and provided us good information. She took care of lunch and dinner, as well as the cooking class and the homestay too. I would highly recommend this tour.
We have been three days with the guide Mu, she was a fantastic guide, we had a great time tracking though the bamboo forest and waterfalls. I wouldn’t change this adventure! It was great and she was so nice, she explained us about everything!! Recomended 100%!!
The view was amazing, tour guide and homestay people were super lovely as well. I am warning you when you’re there the people will try to sell you bracelets and crafts and they don’t have change to give you. Even though my sapa tour guide was amazing her friends happened to appear at our 4 hour hike to conveniently sell their craft to us. Since her friends walked with us for the 4 hours and was super lovely it was very hard to say no but I was definitely out of pocket from buying their crafts. You just need to watch out for this when in sa pa because a lot of people are like this there, unavoidable
Trang was very patient with us, she explained different options and was detrimental in helping us choose between the tours. Sapa experience was amazing, the first couple of hours of the trek were somewhat challenging but well worth it. The homestay family was very kind and provided tasty meals. Sapa is a must-see! Tam Coc day trip was a lot of fun. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, the van was very comfortable and the places we visited were very cool. The boat trip along the karsts was the best part! Many thanks to Trang for her help and for staying with us way past closing time in order to guarantee we had all we needed to go on our trips the following morning. Overall highly recommend the agency and Trang in particular.
Guide (Bao) was very helpful, speaks clear English and guided us throughout the trek through slippery and tricky terrains; the planning is also good and organised. Views in Sapa was amazing and had a very enjoyable hike through the valleys and mountains, would recommend this tour and a visit to Sapa to anyone visiting Vietnam!
Round trip sleeping bus from Hanoi city, more lodge stay than we expected, comfortable bed and meal 🙌🇫🇷🇺🇸🇬🇧 and we sat around the table and everyone was happy. The breakfast crepe was excellent. Our local guide, SUO, also made it easy for us to listen to English and gave us a taste of childhood games with plants and plants like bamboo, which are said to be good for the throat and gastrointestinal system. It was thanks to her that I had such a precious experience 🫶🫶🫶
A very nice tour through the mountains in Sa Pa. Maybe a little lack of insight into village life, but the landscape is very beautiful. The trek itself is simple - sure, you sweat once in a while, but it is absolutely doable. It gets cold at night, so a hat is recommended. The Orga was great - I want to thank Jenny again. With all questions and wishes she was there immediately.
The care of the agency is very pleasant: from the beginning to the end of the expedition you feel safe. The trek itself is fantastic, with beautiful scenery, and incredible moments shared as a group. It is a little cold in the evening on Sapa but the Homestay is fully equipped to have a good night. The only downside is the Homestay experience: there is no sharing and a friendly time with the Welcoming Family. The agency is very flexible. I was able to change my itinerary during the stay itself to shorten it: a big thank you to Lucy.
