Renea Cruises Small Boat In Bai Tu Long And Halong Bay

This was an absolutely incredible experience. All the staff are so lovely with great customer service. Nguyen looked after is from beginning to end and make sure we are comfortable, happy and having the best time. The boat itself is nice and clear with beautiful cabins and an excellent view. The food was exceptional. It was so full of flavour and well done, with so much food being served with each meal and it was top quality. The whole experience was very much great value for money. We cannot speak highly enough of this experience. A small intimate boat with very personal service provided by an attentive and helpful crew. Special mention has to go to our tour guide Kenny. He was informative, kind, very helpful, well organised and a whole lot of fun. He made our group of fourteen seem like a family and we would recommend this boat to anyone. If you’re lucky enough to have Kenny as a guide it will be a bonus to an already awesome experience.

We've had a fantastic cruise. Great itinerary, great, knowledgeable guide and a cozy small boat, not a huge tourist bomber. Bai Tu Long was the perfect choice to see the amazing landscape while dodging the huge crowds in Ha Long Bay. The crew went above and beyond to pamper us and we loved the calm and serenity to rest up after a few days in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.

Kenny was such e great, kind and really good tour guide with lots of knowledge, many stories to tell and always with a joke on his lips. It was an amazing trip and we really almost never stumbled upon too many tourists. Thank you!

If you want a really authentic trip to Halong bay this is the trip for you. The boat is a wooden Vietnamese style boat and respects this stunning environment. The food prepared on board was a very high standard. Our host Tony was very knowledgeable and also very caring and patient. As a first time kayaker I was very nervous but Tony put my mind at ease and helped me all the way. I would highly recommend this trip.

We were glad we chose the 2 night cruise in Bai Tu Long bay, as it took the rush out of the experience. Each of the activity stops were quite intimate with just passengers from our (small boat), and occasionally from another of Renea’s boats. The weather in late September was perfect, and with all the picture perfect scenes we had hoped for.

VIC was a wonderful tour guide. I cost this trip because I heard Bai Tu Long Bay is a must. It was beautiful and less crowded with other boats. I highly recommend this tour and Vic. They are very organized.

Amazing trip to Bai Tu Long Bay. Renea are a great company to book with. Our guide Vic was amazing, very friendly and funny. We preferred the more traditional wooden boat that Renea offered and the fact they toured part of the bay that was much quieter. The boat was super clean and the service received on the boat was first class. Also you never go hungry, there was so much food! Would definitely recommend booking with Renea.

This tour was great if you're looking for a less overcrowded take on the Ha Long region, Vic and his crew were very accommodating and ran a good value for money tour.

Great experience. Truly more quiet route that has less boats and the boat is smaller allowing you a much calmer and lovely experience. Good room on the boat. 3 days and one night was a great length of the visit. Staff were amazing to a fault: super attentive, friendly and made the whole time great. All the staff on board work extremely hard to make that happen so thank you! Special thanks to Kenny our guide! His knowledge, humour and all around great energy and attentiveness made the experience what it was. He made it really bespoke for us! Thank you so much Kenny!! Only down side was the booking experience, as a solo traveller I was told dates to book that kept changing then I could not do a date I had booked for two people to switch to solo again which was a little confusing.

Best cruise we have ever done. We were a small group of 12 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were spacious (for being on a cruise) and we loved to have a private toilet with a nice shower and hot water. Kenny, our guide, was amazing the whole time: from the morning Thai Chi session to the dinner and happy hour, when he shared interesting facts about Vietnam culture and history. The rest of the crew was lovely and positively happy to assist us at all times. The food was delicious (although a little bit too much) and the drinks were too. The activities were fun and entertaining, but interesting too considering Kenny was sharing plenty of information with us. We would definitely repeat this experience and we will suggest it to our friends and family visiting Vietnam. Thank you!

Lovely experience in Bai Tu Long Bay. Duc was our guide and he made the entire cruises fabulous! The rooms are old and could use a bit of work and - bathrooms need work but all in all delicious food and a lovely experience with a great itinerary. the only thing we did not like was being taken to the stop on the long drive where you have to get out the bus and shop in the shop for half an hour.They follow you around, try and push you to buy and most of the food, sweets etc are expired. Not Renea's fault but brings down the whole experience.

This cruise was an amazing experience and a great way to see another side of Vietnam. Definitely do the two night voyage so you can see the pearl farm and floating village. The ships are gorgeous with all the modern amenities (in-cabin A/C and great water pressure) while still seeming authentic and vintage. The food was incredible!!! 8-10 platters *per family* to share with a huge drink/mocktail menu. Even my picky eater had plenty of options. There were also many families on board this time of year. The kayaking and swimming was very refreshing, and the crew was wonderful. Highly recommend this option to explore this part of the world!

Very Nice Experience and the Tour Guide Vic was very kind and always available for questions. On the evening he told us we can knock on his door anytime if we get hungry. At this point you don’t need to tell more about the service. If you have the possibility to do a Thai Chi Morning Class with him do it definitely worth it. I met very kind people and had such an incredible trip thank you all.
