Had a great 3 days on our tour of Pu Luong with Eddie and Hannah. Both the guides were extremely informative and we learnt so much about the culture and way of life here. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Went on the 3 day trip with my mother and sister. It was a great time, I was fully immersed in the culture and setting I found myself in! We had both Ha Thu and Hana showing us around and they really made the experience. Both of them are no less than 10/10! Making it easier to connect with the other tourists, and giving a great description of the history, context ect. and turning the tour into a memorable experience!
It was such an amazing experience to see the countryside and get a different experience of Vietnam. The homestay was so nice to stay at with a beautiful view. The homecooked meals were also very tasty. The highlight of the tour is the bamboo rafting and lunch, exploring the local market (not on the itinerary but a bonus), the cooking class, spending time with the locals and the buffalo. Would highly recommend this tour and they are constantly communicating via whatsapp so you know what is happening and easy to communicate with.
Our family of four, including two kids of 5 and 8, really had a great time with Divi Travel during our 3D2N trip in Pu Luong, with transfer from and to Hanoi. We chose Pu Luong as an alternative to Sapa and loved it: The beautiful nature, the kind people (incl guides), the homestays and the programme in small groups. The organisation was also impeccable with a fast response rate and being able to add an extra night and programme day last minute due to the cancellation of other plans we had. In addition to the breathtaking walks and cycle trips in the rice fields and nature, we really appreciated seeing the crafts and learning more about the culture and way of living. Would recommend this trip to anyone. Definitely one of if not the highlight of our trip ❤️
The countryside was so beautiful and all the experiences were unique and lovely. Nga was an excellent guide - very energetic and flexible
Had an amazing time at Pu Loung! Nga, our guide is wonderful. She very energetic, lively and adventurous. We went trekking, cycling, cooking(we made the most delicious Vietnamese food), market exploring. It was adventurous and relaxing at the same. They’re very lovely and very welcoming. They took very good care of me. Would 100% come back again. Thank you for the amazing experience.
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide Nga was so knowledgeable and kind, and she did an incredible job at handling both large and small groups, teaching us about the ways and lives of local people. She went above and beyond in our cooking class to accommodate my food restrictions. She was personable, kind, and witty. Would recommend to others! 😁
Well organised tour to less touristy part of Vietnam. Homestay was very nice, and a good mixture of relaxing and activities. Would recommend, especially if you are interested in seeing rural village life
Pu Luong Tours were amazing. The whole 3 days were magical. Really immersive into the different Vietnamese cultures. We even got to view the rice harvest and have lunch with a wonderful family. Would totally recommend to everyone. Nga and Sunny our tour guides were so kind and informative. Thank you for this experience!
We booked this tour last minute, and had a great time visiting Pu Luong. The tour worked to ensure that we did as many activities as possible given the stormy weather. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the local areas and gave great information. October was a great time to visit as the rice fields were beautiful
We had such an amazing time on our private tour with Nga! She was so informative and fun. We hiked, we cycled, we had a lovely lunch by a waterfall. Because it’s August, of course there was a lot of rain, but it was so warm we found it refreshing in the heat. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The sites and what we learned from Nga will give us the best memories!
Really interesting tour, got to interact with many locals and explore the local area with beautiful streams and fantastic views. The accommodation and meals were really excellent and our guide Nga was very interesting and informative. Loved every minute.
My 3-day trip to Pu Luong was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. It all started with a pick-up straight from my hotel in Tam Coc, followed by a scenic drive to Pu Luong, where I checked into a charming three-star resort. The room was excellent – clean, comfortable bed, a great shower, and a beautiful view. The pool was… slightly green, but still good enough for a refreshing dip – and let’s be honest, that's all you need after a travel day! On the first day, we set off on a lovely hike through the lush landscape. On the second day we were taken to various spots, including a "bamboo rafting" experience – though don't expect wild rapids! It was more like a peaceful float on a bamboo platform with a table in the middle, where we were served a simple but tasty lunch: fries, a bit of fish, chicken, and a flavorful dipping sauce. It was unexpectedly delightful! Our young and enthusiastic guide made the trip fun – his English was okay, but his energy more than made up for it. We visited a small traditional weaving workshop and tried some typical tourist-friendly activities. In the evening, just the guide and I hiked to a nearby waterfall where I took a refreshing swim. It was serene, and I had plenty of time to just unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Interestingly, while I started the trip with two friendly Australians, for the last day and a half it was just me and the guide – which made the experience feel even more personal. On the final day, we visited a local market together and later were welcomed into a Hmong family’s home, where we prepared our own meal – think rustic, open-air cooking like at a campsite. Within 30–45 minutes, we had a full spread: chicken, shrimp, rice, and morning glory. It was delicious, and the setting made it even more special. Our hosts generously offered rice wine, tea, and fresh fruit, making it a warm, memorable moment. To top it off, we took a short bike ride and later a 30-minute ride on a buffalo car. Nothing was physically demanding – everything was just a short distance away – but I saw so much and came away with a head full of great memories. If you're looking for an authentic, relaxed, and enriching experience in Vietnam, I’d highly recommend this discovery trio to Pu Luong. It’s not about ticking off sights, but about enjoying moments – and I had plenty of those.
A wonderful tour with a wonderful guide Nga. She lives locally and had great knowledge of local customs and ways of living. She also spoke English well and had a great sense of humour.
I had a fabulous time with my amazing tour guide Nga! She was very informative and funny and made the trip very entertaining. I enjoyed all of the activities and the cooking class was great. My favourite part was floating down the river on the bamboo boat with a delicious lunch. It was great to be back to nature for a few days of relaxation.
We had a fabulous time in PuLuong. Our tour guide Nga was fabulous. She made our trip seamless. We just fit right into PuLuong life. It was truly amazing to see the intricate details of life in PuLuong. To learn from the stories and history of the region. Really appreciate the extra care Nga gives and the personal interactions with everyone in the village. We definitely recommend this tour as it gave more meaning and much more memorable time when you can appreciate the deep history that this region holds. We learned a lot and had a great time experiencing this area in Vietnam with you Nga. Thank you Nga!
Had a fantastic time in pu Leung amazing people amazing village and I have to give a big shout out to my tour guide Luong he spoke really good English easy to understand very knowledgeable of the local area it’s been brilliant couple of days iv had the best time ever
We had a great time in Pu Luong because of Nga. She was really personable and knowledgeable and took us to some really good gems that would have been impossible to find if we hadn't had a great tour guide. We particularly enjoyed meeting the local people and seeing how they live their daily lives. You need to book your tour with Nga!
This tour was very well led by Lila who did everything possible to make it interesting and fun. And make us feel very welcome . We met locals in their homes walked through the rice fields and ate a meal we helped cook at a farmstead . A short boat trip with lunch on the last day was great. Lila speaks near perfect English and has clearly befriended many locals which was a great advantage while walking around and seeing into the homes . She really understood what we were looking for and was outstanding.
Me and my boyfriend spent 3 magical days with Nga, in Pu Luong! Nga guided us through local villages and beautiful nature. She has exceptional knowledge about the locals, their way of life, nature and history. It was a truly captivating experience to trekk, cook, and explore the villages with Nga! She is so friendly, gave us local snacks and treats, and went above and beyond to give us the most authentic and memorable experience we could possibly ever wish for. I would recommend anyone who wants to visit Pu Luong, to join one of her tours! Thank you again 💓 / Jane and Oskar
It was great! The tour guide was professional and everything went smooth! Amazing experience during our stay in vietnam. Would certainly recommend to everybody ;), unique experiences are priceless.
Great tour experience! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for small groups of friends. Will definitely go again, once we get back to Vietnam!
We had an unforgettable experience thanks to the organization of the activities with this agency. We immersed ourselves, thanks to the guide Nhung and the driver Mr. Hien, in the local culture: which totally met our expectations. A big thank you also to the coordinator of the activities we were able to do, Wendy, who knew how to plan everything overnight. I highly recommend this agency and booking directly with them!
We experienced a wonderful three-day tour in Mai Chau and Pu Luong and can recommend it without reservation. The program was varied and very authentic: in Mai Chau, we were welcomed with a wonderful lunch. A bike ride through the rice fields with guide Thu was very nice. We visited a cave and marveled at local crafts. We danced and made music with White Thai women. Afterward, we continued to Pu Luong to our homestay. On the second and third day, we were out and about with guide Eddie. We visited a local weaver, took a bamboo boat ride including a delicious lunch, saw the impressive water wheels, and a beautiful waterfall. At our request, Eddie also made a stop at a wonderful café with a dreamlike view over the rice terraces – a real highlight. We especially enjoyed the village walk, during which Eddie explained a great deal about the population, their traditions, nature, and life in Pu Luong. The visit to a local market provided another exciting insight into the everyday life of the people. Even a short bike ride through the rice fields in great heat was well organized and adapted to the heat. The absolute highlight, however, was that Eddie and the driver did a private cooking class with us at the farm of a Muong couple. We will not forget this warm and personal experience. We felt excellently taken care of throughout the entire tour and felt safe and welcome at all times. Thu and Eddie possess enormous knowledge, tell stories with enthusiasm, and flexibly accommodate individual requests. Many thanks to Thu, Eddie, the drivers, and all the families we were able to visit for this unforgettable time in Pu Luong!
Fine experience, communication was good with Mia and our guide Eddie did it perfectly! Also the hotel was really great with nice views.
Everything was perfect. Both the accommodation and the activities were really quality with beautiful scenery and fabulous discoveries with the locals that allowed us to enter a little into their lives. I would like to make a special mention to the team that took care of us. From the care in Hanoi by Wendy who showed magnificent energy to put us in the bath and help us if needed throughout the stay. Passing by our driver in Pu Luong who showed great kindness. To conclude with our two guides Nga and Hoa who shared their knowledge with us with a smile and kindness. Authenticity all around us. This is what we found during these 3 beautiful days.
excellent! really authentic 3 days off the beaten track! the guide and driver was perfect!
The tour was a complete success. I have rarely had such an interesting and experiential experience. Our tour guide Nga Lila was extremely friendly and experienced. Thank you for the great experience.
We were lucky enough to be traveling in a small troop. The individual program items were not only checked off, but filled with many hints by our wonderful companion Nga. It opened up a new view of the landscape. Highly recommended. New insights
Fantastic adventure with a cheerful guide. Lots of seeing, walking, beautiful views, nice bike ride, fresh dive in the waterfall and rafting lunch Visit local families was really great👍👍👍
The two-night, three-day tour to Pu Luong was really nice and well organized. The guides are prepared (we stayed with Tony for the first trek and with Nga for the next two days). Both were fantastic, very kind and ready to answer any questions and to meet you for any difficulty. Pu Luong is wonderful and with our guides we were able to fully experience nature and local culture.
Excellent! our guide Lila Nga was perfect and pleasant. She made us discover in a good mood her country. Discover impressive landscapes, on foot by bike and boat. Everything was planned meals at home and on the boat, test local drinks also at home etc. Nice meeting.
Super interesting and very local-guide was super good and arranged everything from trips to transportation to Ninh Binh - bonus we were allowed to be part of the sports evening with the local warmest recommendations from here - thank you Nga Lilla - enjoy life / u r doing good 👍
We had 3 fantastic days thanks to Nga. The appetite for engagement and zeal to share his knowledge and connect with the locals was fantastic. Whatever we wanted along the way, Nga made it happen. The activities were the best we experienced and are so highkey! If the trip goes to Phu Luong I would recommend Nga for any time. The resort we stayed on along the way I have no good words about. Old snacks in the room, too little food, and difficult communication. We got a room where for three days we could hear a washing machine running 24/7. If it hadn’t been for Nga and her enthusiasm, we would have shortened the journey. Furthermore, we met other Danes up there and their price for the trip versus ours was not the same. GREAT POINT to Nga
Three amazingly beautiful and interesting days in Pu Luongs reserve. A very nice and talented guide Nga gave us the opportunity to get close to the villagers and get insight into their lives and traditions. Every day we were met with new experiences and a very beautiful views in the mountains. We walked and cycled through villages , rode a raft and had lunch on the river , cooked and ate food with the villagers . Highly recommended!
Nga was our guide, she spoke good English. She was very open and could ask anything. This area is still authentic. We really enjoyed seeing life for real. Nga earned a 10, super settled
Fantastic experience, with Le as a guide, who has given us interesting explanations about Thai and Hmong ethnic groups. Stunning views and contact with locals. Recommended 100%.
