We are from Singapore and engaged Danny's service for 2 ways private airport, Sapa, Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh transfer during our recent 1 week trip. The SUV car fix nicely with 4 big luggages and 4 of us. The car is clean and comfortable. Communication with Danny is swift and prompt via WhatsApp. Price is reasonable and payment collection is after each service is completed. Pick up timing is prompt, never late. Danny drove us safely to n fro Sapa and Ninh Binh and we truly enjoyed our holiday. Highly recommended!

On the advice of a friend who lives in Hanoi, we contacted Danny Phan Travel in early November to help with a fairly complex itinerary that included eight transfers—four of them involving two bikes and two passengers. We went through Danny recently to travel between Hanoi and Sapa. It was a great experience, but there were a few things that could have made it better. The driver was on time, and efficient in getting us there, taking around 5 hours. The car was clean, although one of the free bottles of water had already been opened and sipped, which made us uneasy on the second bottle. Unfortunately, the driver did not speak any English, but did have a translator app. It was a very quiet car ride, which was a shame. We were hoping to learn more about their culture and maybe stop along the way more, but this was not an option. There was one stop on the way, which was at a rest stop. There was options for a toilet, which costs 3000 dong per person entry, and food/drinks. The driver was very courteous and willing to help. Danny was great to deal with and communicated phenomenally. Would I use their services again, yes I would. It was hassle free and efficient.

We had an excellent service from Danny and his team whilst we were in Vietnam. We used his transfer service 5 times including some long distance runs between Sapa and Ninh Binh - all the drivers were professional and the cars clean and comfortable. Everyday I was able to amend my pick up time and I would get a what’s app message which detailed the driver, contact number and vehicle. It was a very slick operation and great value. Travelled from Hanoi to Sapa, most flexible route and timing comparing to buses/trains. Car is the way to go for your adventures. There were adequate rest/meal/toilet breaks throughout the journey as well. (5.5~ hours) You can sit with ease as Danny and his team of drivers will get you to your destination safely & professionally.

I contacted Danny for roundtrip transfers from Hanoi to Sapa because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We communicated via email and then through WhatsApp, which we used extensively during our Vietnam trip. Danny provided pickup instructions from the Hanoi airport, and even sent a photo of the meeting point. We were picked up promptly and enjoyed the 5 hr transfer to Sapa. We felt very safe driving with Danny, and we stopped twice for toilet breaks. While we were in Sapa, he was available to take us anywhere we wanted to go and drove us to a local village, explaining rural life in Vietnam. He then transferred us to a hotel in Hanoi. I highly recommend using Danny Phan Travel for transfers. It was easy to contact him directly, and you can see the offerings of transfers and tours on his website. If you can fit Sapa into your northern Vietnam trip, I highly encourage you to book private transfers with Danny.

I would highly recommend booking a private transfer through Mr. Phan! He was very responsive any time we had questions and easy to communicate with. Mr.Manh was our driver from Hanoi to Sapa and he was an amazing driver and kind person. We felt comfortable and safe the whole 5 hr ride. We were also able to pay for Mr.Manh to drive us around Sapa while we were there so that was a plus too.

We did booked round trip with 3d2n to Sapa , it was great because Danny give us 50Km use the car for sightseeing for free - that we saved quite alot of money to go to Sunworld Cable Car, visit village and go trekking. Highly recommend

I used danny's taxi service for my north Vietnam trip (airport transfers, nimh binh, cat ba, hanoi, sapa). After reading positive reviews i contacted danny about 1 month before my trip and shared the draft itinerary. He always responds immediately and gave me a few suggestions regarding routes and places. He gave a detailed cost break up for each destination and i was required to pay only at the destination. Vehicle was always on time and clean and courteous staff. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone.

We’re an Australian family. We used Danny Phan’s private cars to travel from Hanoi to Sa Pa and back as well as to and from the airport. The service was excellent. The communication with Danny was very clear with regard to pick up and drop off, ensuring both occurred. Driver name and details and car license we provided before pickup. The cars were quite new and well maintained inside and out. All drivers were very respectful, always arrived early and were safe. The price was very good value for the service. Danny Phan is extremely friendly and helpful. He arranged transport for us from Hanoi --> Sapa --> Ninh Binh --> Cat Ba. All the drivers (Danny included) drove in a careful way and we had resting pulse for our entire trip (which we did not expect at all). All the cars were big, clean, well air-conditioned and without artificial scent. The drivers always arrived on time or a bit before the schedule and helped us with our luggage. They always drove on the express highways with toll stations (many of which motorbikes are not allowed). As far as we understood, Danny started the company a few years ago and was able to increase the size of his company from 2 cars to 10 cars even during the pandemic. He doesn't use money on marketing but relies on being recommended by repeat customers. His company is largely used for expats living in Hanoi. We are so happy we chose Danny Phan for all of our drives. We were definitely a bit nervous about the traffic before travelling to Vietnam. But it was so nice being able to have one point of communication for all of our travel. And we checked out other companies as well and the rates were about the same but they did not offer big cars. The other companies were not as service minded either so we will definitely recommend Danny to all of our friends travelling to Vietnam and will use his services again if we return.

Danny is a safe and reliable driver . He is always punctual and his response to all my messages were almost immediate. He is a quiet man who doesn’t talk very much but he is one whom you can trust to bring you to all your destinations safely .
