Perfume Workshop In Hanoi - Crafting Your Perfect Scent

I joined two perfume workshops at Muoi Studio during my trip to Vietnam, and both were excellent. The first workshop was a wonderful introduction to perfume making, while the second taught me how complex and creative the process really is. The team was incredibly patient, listened carefully to my ideas, and helped me adjust the formula until it matched the feeling I was looking for. I especially appreciated how they explained the role of each ingredient and how even small changes could transform the final fragrance. It was fascinating to learn from people who are clearly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Thank you for such a memorable workshop and for helping me create two very personal perfumes. This was an amazing experience, and if (or when) we come back to Hanoi, we will definitely return. Linh explained the theory in as much detail as we wanted, but what really stood out was her talent for understanding people’s preferences. She guided us with great intuition and care, making the whole process both educational and very personal. The shop has an excellent selection of ingredients and professional equipment, all located on a cozy street. There’s also a great coffee shop just across the road, so you can enjoy one of the best coffee blends in Hanoi while creating a perfume that feels truly your own. Linh guided my son and me step by step until we each created a perfume that we really loved. It was a memorable and special experience for both of us. You really have to try it! My daughter and I took this perfume class. We were very impressed with the amount of information that was given and how a nice lady helped us with creating our own perfume. We had taken a class like this in another country, but this one gave much more detailed information and it was more hands-on. We loved this class so much and would highly recommend it to others!

I very much enjoyed the workshop. Lynn/Lin is knowledgeable, very friendly, helpful, patient and lets you try out fragrances as much as you like. She also provides guidance. Her English is excellent, so it is easy to learn from her. The entire process is set up very professionally.

What a fun workshop! We learned a lot about the history of perfume and what notes are what. It’s great because you leave with your own 10ml bottle as a souvenir! Hung was very informational and creative with scents. He helped us match scents and what smells nice with what. I highly recommend!

The team was very nice and supportive. The session will be very good for beginners. If your knowledge is quite good this well be excellent opportunity to make a good perfume you like. I designed perfume that I liked to extend that I asked for 30ml with extra cost. They are really good!

The perfume workshop was a nice activity to so while in Hanoi. I cannot remember the name of my guide (the guy with the earring), but he was super lovely and really took the time to find my signature scent. It took a while to find something I loved, but he took care in mixing scents together for me. They also take walk ins for mixing perfumes, so it seems like you could also drop by and do this if in the area. Definitely recommend, I love my new scent.

I took my two daughters to this workshop and we all made our own signature perfumes . Our teacher was very knowledgeable and we learnt all about the different ingredients and components of making perfumes - which fragrances work together - top nots , middle notes and base notes We each had a 30ml bottle of our own perfume at the end of our workshop Our teacher was very kind and friendly I would definitely recommend this workshop - it was super fun - I love my perfume

This was one of my favorite things I did in Hanoi. Vince provides so much knowledge about what goes into making perfume and you can see how much he enjoys what he does. Than you get to find your scent and mix it up with Vince's help. I totally recommend this tour.

The experience at the cozy workshop was absolutely wonderful! I had the chance to create my own unique perfume. The warm atmosphere, enthusiastic instructors, and diverse range of ingredients made the class a truly memorable experience. I'll definitely be back to explore more exciting things!
