Transfer to day-boat to visit Viet Hai village. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo… you willhave chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Back to day boat for visiting LanHa Bay. Lunch will be served on day boat. Visit Ba Men Temple a peaceful peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach. Guests may join a cooking class, take a swim at the untouched area, or enjoy the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while watching the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Fantastic cruise, we felt extremely well cared for and catered to the whole time! Truly a once in a lifetime experience being waited on hand and foot in a tropical paradise! There was a variety of different cuisines on board and all of them were delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpful, big shout out to Johnny for making us feel very special and looked after! Bang (the cruise manager), made sure everything ran so smoothly ☺️ Ha Long Bay itself is too gorgeous to even describe so I’ll just include some photos. The day trips were fab, we loved kayaking and biking around. Well worth it, I would recommend the cruise to anyone.

My husband and I had the best time ever cruising on Halong Bay. The service was first class as was the variety of fresh and delicious food and beverage selection. We would highly recommend doing this cruise. It is the perfect blend of activities and relaxation.

Cruise was great fun, good mix of relaxation and activities. Day trips were great fun exploring the caves and villages on the remote islands. The food and service was excellent would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good cruise. Thomas, Bang and Dong we’re standouts on the cruise and provided create service throughout the trip

Amazing 2 night cruise on Orchard Trendy, very helpful and attentive staff, special thanks to Alex our waiter who always made sure we got our free happy hour drinks! Delicious and plentiful food, clean cabins and plenty of space on top deck. Kayaking, cycling to village and bamboo boat to cave were all good fun. The tour leader was great in making sure everyone went right way when cycling!
The trip on the boat was pleasent and relaxing. The services were up to the top and the staff was gentle and caring. We didnt need anything since the staff was providing such a wonderful job. Special tanks to Jess, she was taking care of our time in the restaurant and always kept an eye on our table to make sure everything was alright. Tha k you Jess.
Would recommend the Orchid Cruises. The meals are phenomenal and the service is exceptional. Views outside the boat on sunny days and overcast are beautiful. Worth the travel time to get here! Jess was very attentive and lovely :)
We chose this specific cruises for less crowded itinerary. It was pretty quiet and serene but in my opinion one night would be more than enough because although it offered different activities two different days i don’t think another night would be necessary. Overall food qualities pretty decent and crews were very hard to accommodate guests’ needs. I wish there were more night activities other than squid fishing because there were nothing showing on TV and no WiFi.
Best for a relaxing, all hands-off view of Lan Ha bay, with fewer tourists, more personalization, and plenty of activities without strenous effort. Overall, the staff were extremely friendly and would love to make conversation; you can learn a lot about the culture here, history, and heritage through them. Service staff Lucas was very helpful in making changes to the menu as requested, Fiora provided personalizations for a couple experience, and the tour guide Mr. Bắng was an absolutely wonderful host, with plenty of jokes and professionalism.

Wow, how amazing was this trip. The boat was sensational beyond the 5 star we were expecting. The food was delicious and kept coming, foodies would love this cruise. Our favorite servers were Gin and Jenny who looked after us like we were Kings and Queens. Mel the cruise director was so knowledgeable and friendly he taught us to make spring rolls and was always quick with a dad joke. Nothing is ever too much for these guys
Trendy cruise boat is smaller, so you’ll only be about 30 aboard, 40 max. Service is impeccable, one of the best I’ve experienced in all my years of traveling. We loved our server Lucas and Mr. Mel, who made us well-cared for. The boat, while a bit on the older side, is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and sailed smoothly. Food was top-notch. It was a thoroughly relaxing trip. Halong Bay views are stunning. Highly recommend. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
The cruise ship is smaller than usual so you can be around 30 pax per trip. Service is impeccable. We love Lucas and Mr. Mel. They make you feel well-cared for. An amamzing couple of nights away on Lan Ha Bay. The staff made my birthday extra special, and Nani was brilliant in ensuring our kids were well catered for (fussy eaters and early bedtimes). They even had French fries transported over when they ran out, and brought out extra mango for the kids at brunch! Would highly recommend this cruise, it was very relaxing and well worth doing. The attention to detail from all the staff was top notch, and we really enjoyed the food and entire experience
So glad we decided to go with Orchid & for the 3D2N! The extra time out made sure we weren’t rushed & allowed us to enjoy even more of the great food and service which was provided. From the pick up in Hanoi, to the waiting lounge, the onboard experience and day trips we were treated exceptionally well and comfortable the whole time. The staff were knowledgeable and kind, in particular our service captain Thomas was amazing! He went above and beyond for us and made sure we had an excellent trip. I really do recommend staying the extra day if you can, so glad we got to spend more time on this boat. If I could, I would stay a whole week with them!
