09h10: You will be collected from Hanoi Old Quarter to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal β Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City where we arrive at around 11h30. The passengers have a chance to experience on longest and newest bridge in South East Asia area. You can take special tea at cruiseβs lounge by warm welcome. 12h15: Transfer by tender to the cruise 12h30: We welcome our guests onboard then check in, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
13h00: The cruise proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have International Buffet Lunch while passing via the islets of Con Vit area. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island - Thoi Quyt area - Coc Ngoi islet - through Gia Luan harbor where is belong to Cat Ba National Park 15h00: We progress to Trung Trang cave by our bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave. Trung Trang Valley is the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has a depth of 10m to 30m and is around 15km in the middle of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise through the mountains. The cave was carved by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. 17h00: The ruise gets in the less populated area at Tra Bau area where is located in Lan Ha Bay. You will enjoy the green emerald and cool water by swimming 17h45: Returning the cruise, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. 06h00: Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Toi Sang cave is situated. 9h30: Visitors then return cruise for check-out procedures 10h00: Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch 10h30: Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with our crews team and have great fun with us! 11h35: We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark. What a great experience we had. This was a relaxing cruise. The food was amazing and catered for all food requests. The rooms were so great and clean. The kayaking was so much fun too. Lucas was always there whenever we needed anything and had a wealth of information.

Orchid cruise was amazing! They offered us kayaks, drinks, and a lot of really fun activities. Bang and Gin were the most amazing people and made the experience so much better!
We loved our cruise with Orchid. It gave us a really memorable experience that will be hard to beat. The setting is sureal, and the staff made it even more special. Gin, was our trusty waiter and made sure we were well and truly looked after. We absolutely loved it. Travel to and from Hanoi to the departure point ran like clockwork, so if you have a few spare days, it's definitely worth considering.

Mixed feelings about this cruise, and I can't really compare it to others in the bay. On the plus side: a beautiful, comfortable and very clean boat β though I'm still not sure what's "Trendy" about it, it all felt quite classic. Nice route, and we got lucky being moored on the outside at night. Staff were very friendly, food was decent, and the rooms were nice with a good bathroom and working AC. The small pool at the front was a pleasant surprise. Everything was included in the program, which felt like part of the experience, and there was an option for an onboard massage. On the downside: ask for a room at the front to avoid diesel fumes. This is a group tour setup, which isn't really my thing, so that may color my review somewhat β makes me wonder if there are more personal, small-scale cruise options out there. Transport from Hanoi could improve too: pickup is far too early, and there's a mandatory stop at a pearl shop and other souvenir stores that felt like a tourist trap. There's also constant upselling β even the breakfast cappuccino isn't included and isn't flagged as extra. Staff and management's English could use more training investment. And there's no wifi on board β mobile coverage is weak out there, but Starlink would go a long way. Would I do it again? Probably, but maybe with a different boat.

We had a great time, all the staff were amazing, especially our server James as he was great and very attentive. The trip was very full on and sometimes we felt rushed around but other than that we had a great time.
Had a lovely time on this cruise - the staff were so friendly and accommodating from the start, learning everyones names and being very attentive. There were a nice amount of activities packed into the short trip, from the cooking demonstration, the cave tour and even squid fishing in the evening. The boat itself was clean and well maintained with a classic look, and I loved the bathtub in our room. The cruise allowed for around 30 people, with mostly families with older kids or couples, so it created a really friendly atmosphere between everyone. I personally thought the cruise was worth the price for the food experience alone, and really enjoyed all the meals!! Shoutout to Mel, Gin, Jenny and all the staff who were super warm and made the experience really lovely.

We had an amazing 24 hour trip and were particularly well looked after by Thomas who did a great job! The food was great. Superb room at the back with jacuzzi bath - very much worth the upgrade! The scenery of course was stunning.

The cruise was soooo relaxing! The views were stunning cruising through Halong bay! Jess was our server for the cruise and she was so kind, friendly and helpful! Meals were excellent with good variety and freshness. Our favourite was the cooking demonstration that taught us how to make our favourite Vietnamese fried spring rolls. It was definitely worth the trip from Hanoi!

Great experience, everyone very friendly. Service from Thomas was excellent. Food very good and all activities well organized. The only downside was that we were allocated room 102 next to the generator - made it very difficult to sleep with the noise.
We had a fantastic experience and we were impressed with the boat. What made it really special was Alex who looked after us at every meal and offered to take drinks and tea to our room. He along with the staff with director Mel made the journey a bucket list experience.

What an amazing cruise. The accomodations was nothing short of luxury, the ship was emmaculate and the staff was beyond amazing. Our waiter Steve (Long) made the best of experience. He made the stay the best of memories with his friendly personality and great conversation. I definitely recommend this cruise and our friendly waiter as company!!! Probably coming back next year for the longer one !

The trip was very nice. It was organized well and the cruise was beautiful. Thomas did the service and he really did a great job. He was friendly and the food and drinks were good and we never had to wait long. There was a special vegetarian option for us. Unfortunately the kajaking was only 1h. We would have love to spent more time on the beaches around ous.
