Kim was fabulous. We went to places we never would found on our own. She is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The food was excellent. I was pleased that our group only had 6 participants.

Our dietary requirements were accommodated perfectly, and the route was adjusted to make it wheelchair accessible for our daughter. We truly appreciated the care and attention to detail. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and we visited places we would never have found on our own. It was one of the highlights of our time in Hanoi. We had an amazing food tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter with Nam (Kevin). He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the evening feel relaxed, fun, and not overly scripted. We tried a great variety of foods, including rice rolls, turmeric fish, porridge, traditional sweets, and cocktails. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and gave us a deeper look at Hanoi’s food culture beyond the usual tourist spots. Kevin also shared interesting local history and stories along the way. Highly recommend this tour.

Excellent food tour in Hanoi’s Old Quarter with Nam (Kevin)! The experience felt very authentic and introduced us to dishes we probably would never have ordered on our own. We had an incredible Old Quarter food and culture tour with Lyna who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Vietnam and Hanoi. The restaurants she selected were amazing and we enjoyed very interesting, tasty authentic dishes.

We had THE BEST food tour with Luna!! There’s no way we would have found the culinary treasures she took us to. The banh cuon and every other specialty were AMAZING. This is definitely the best way to learn about delicious food in Hanoi. Lyna is super fun, friendly and knowledgeable about Hanoi culture and history. You must try this! Really good food tour, well worth the money. This is my second Lost Plates tour. We went to a variety of places and our guide Winnie went above and beyond! Highly recommended. There were only 5 of us + our guide, giving us a good chance to mingle. My sister has allergies and they made sure to accommodate that well too.

I went on the tour my first night in Hanoi and I couldn’t be more delighted with my introduction to the city and it’s delicious cuisine. The spots were well curated and delicious. I’m traveling solo and enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world. Our guide, Miss Albert, was charming, delightful and knowledgeable. Ask for her tour if you can! Will definitely repeat the experience if I am back in Hanoi.

We have been on two good tours in Cambodia with Lost Plate so had high expectations!! We were not disappointed! It was our first night in Vietnam and a brilliant start to our holiday. Lost Plate Food Tours in an excellent way to try very tasty and well run local eateries in the old quarter in Hanoi. Vy, our guide took us to 7 different local venues to eat and drink our way through the evening. We ate at restaurants we would never have found on our own and explored a few unique locations we would not discovered. This was our second Lost Plate Food Tour and I highly recommend them.

Sophia is awesome. She was very knowledgeable about each dish. Everything we had tasted great. We did five different stops. There were a couple of places we would have just walked by if we were in our own. It was nice to have the insider knowledge that Sophia possessed.

Albert took us around the Old Quarter, sampling food from 4 different spots whilst also telling us about the history of the area. It was my second time in Hanoi and I felt like I knew a good amount about the city, but this really brought the place to life in a way I’d never experienced before. Highly recommended.

The food were delicious with huge servings. We especially loved trying the fruits in Dong Xuân market. It was lovely to learn about Vietnam through food.

We had a lovely experience with Phoebe. The tour took us to different areas in Hanoi where we learned about the origins of the dishes as well as the history of the city. Phoebe took great care of us as we navigated the busy streets and answered our questions in detail. The experience was warm and friendly and we learned a lot. It is a great way to experience a city beyond hitting the usual tourist hot-spots.
