Bring an umbrella for blocking sun. It's intense. In addition wear a wide rim hat. Brush up on as much of the history as you can ahead. I took this tour 2 years ago and the tour guide knew a lot of detail and history and it was money well spent pointing out important points of interest, shared cultural legends and so much more. The guide on THIS tour was very nice...but gave the absolute minimum in educating you and sharing what he knew.

This tour with Vietnam Wonder Travel was clearly the best one day tour during our holiday in Vietnam. Such a variety of activities in the beautiful Ninh Binh countryside, including the historical temple at Hoa Lu, boating through (and under!) the limestone hills, cycling through the countryside and climbing to the top of Dragon Mountain,. Our guide did an excellent job explaining everything and keeping the tour on track.

The scenery was amazing. Beautiful experience. There were many opportunities to take wonderful pictures.

My wife and I booked the Full day Ninh Binh Highlights Tour with Vietnam Wonder Travel. It was the best group tour we have had on our holidays. The hotel pickup was punctual and the mini van was the most luxurious we have ever experienced. The absolutely best part of the entire day. However, was our excellent guide, Mr Thinh. His knowledge of Vietnam, especially its history, is amazing. He looked after the group very well and his attention to detail was remarkable. We would strongly recommend the full day tour with Vietnam Wonder Travel in general, and Mr Thinh in particular, for a fantastic full day tour We strongly recommend.

I enjoyed an exciting trip to Mua Cave in Ninh Binh, where I experienced picturesque views like paintings and engaged in outdoor activities. Boating time at Tam Coc was beautiful and the boat rower was friendly.

Fantastic day, Bang was a great guide. Biking and caving were highlights, big effort to get up to the temple but the view is well worth it.

Don't normally write a review but for the exceptional hospitality by our tour consultant, I am compelled to write one. Not only, we are a large group of 15 people with you kids, organizing a tour in such case to various must go places in Vietnam (e.g. Halong Bay and Ninh Binh) with no proficiency in Vietnamese language is a real challenge. This is where we look over the internet for a reliable tour consultant / agency. This by itself was not an easy feat, as we had to take a leap faith, trusting stranger with sizeable deposit to secure our trips. Fortunately we met the right tour consultant / agent, Mr Viet, who has been very patient, communicative, and trust worthy to make not only the planning but also the execution of the plan a smooth and stress-free journey. Apart from that, the supporting team members, from the driver, to the staff at ha long bay cruise, to our tour consultant for Ninh Binh (Mr Luca) was extremely professional, knowledgeable and more importantly welcoming. One particular highlight, our request to celebrate our mother birthday on a private cruise at Ha Long Bay, was most memorable part of the trip. Not only the team help to decorate the boat, but also prepare a nice birthday cake. I would definitely contact Viet again for our next visit to Vietnam. Afterall, what's important is not just a nice trip, but the trust worthiness / credibility to get things done and not run away with your hard earned money.
