What an amazing day, so many things to see, and it wasn’t rushed. Maya our tour guide and Coungh our driver did an excellent job. Maya was so informative and answered all my silly questions and Coungh safely drove us around all day without any incidents.

Today we were picked up from our hotel by our guide Maya and driver Curong at the agreed time and they gave us a day we will never forget. We specifically chose this tour operator because it is small-scale, maximum 8 people, and we took a seat in a luxury bus, which took us to the beautiful locations of Hoa Lu, Dinh Kingh temple, Muah caves, Dragon mountaun, Tom Coc by sampan boat and a bike ride to Bich Dong. It was an intensive but beautiful day, everything was perfectly taken care of, from the well-guided trips to the sights to lunch. I would like to thank Cuong for the nice and relaxing transportation and Maya for the calm and good explanation about the trip and the locations. Nice tour with full of activities and a decent schedule to explore the places. Loan is a great tour guide and very active. Sceneries of Ninh Binh are amazing and full of historical values. Highly recommended.

Our day trip with Ms. Loan was one of the best we have done so far, not only in Vietnam! Very comfortable and spacious limousine van, great group and a gracious, friendly local guide, who shared lots of information about Vietnamese people and their traditions and lifestyle. We learnt a lot of new things thanks to Ms. Loan and she kept the atmosphere very pleasant. The scenery was breathtaking, we personally, like it even more than the famous Halong Bay. We did a lot, but it did not feel rushed. The food was delicious and abundant. Even the restaurant had its charm with its location on the riverside. It was such a nice lunch stop, not like other tours where they take you to this massive touristic restaurants as we were a herd. The only thing I would recommend is to short the time of the boat trip. 30’- 45’ would have been more than enough. There is some negative thing, however it has nothing to do with the travel agency or the guide, we give you a tip to avoid it: spare you the hustle and do not try to buy anything from the ladies on the “floating market”, you will not only end up paying a ridiculous high amount, but they seemed to be banded together with the rowers. In the blink of an eye, you do not know how but you will be paying for his stuff, too. And the ladies tells you a price initially, but they charge you another when you already have the fruits on your hands. Also keep in mind, that the rower will ask insistently for a tip, anyways, by the end of the trip. Very unpleasant situation. We usually like to leave tips to everyone because we have a much easier life than they do, but no one likes to be treated like idiots and being openly taken advantage of. That asides, overall, a really well organised trip and a great tour guide!

The boat ride was the highlight of the trip. Excellent tour guide (Ninh) guiding us through the activities with her expert insights. Be prepared to climb plenty speer steps at Tam Cox to be rewarded with breathtaking views.

Great way to see all Ninh Binh has to offer in a single day. Tour was well executed and our guide Moon was lovely.

We love the tour, the guide was very enthusiastic and informative, he explained everything really well, and we had a wonderful day. We saw a lot in a short amount of time and were very happy with everything. It is a completed activity, highly recommend. I have to mention only one negative point. They asked us for tips on several occasions: on the boat ride on the river and also for our guide and driver. Also on the bike ride there was a man who took photos and then insisted you to buy them so it was very unpleasant because we paid a hight price in the excursion. By the way we had a really good time and we Will repeat it.

This tour was exceptional, covering some amazing views of one of Vietnam’s scenic gems, along with some physical activities which were not too demanding, but allowed us to go through the local village. Highly recommend!

The tour took me to a relatively less travelled part of Vietnam on a spare day that i had in Hanoi ... the Ninh Binh province. The vehicle was spectacular, and very spacious and comfortable. The tour was designed for a variety of experiences ... hiking, boating and cycling. But there weren't any alternatives for people unable, for any reason, to use one or more of these means. So for those who couldn't make the hike up the mountain (there wasn't enough time for it), missed the best views of the day. Given the beauty of the region, they should also have made some photo stops on the road, but they didn't make any.

Wonderful tour, great food, river cruise was amazing and cycle ride wasn’t too strenuous but pleasant. Highly recommend this day tour to anyone staying in Hanoi. Information provided by tour guide was informative and interesting.

We've booked a group tour, but the agency advised us and helped to arrange a private tour for us. We had an English speaking guide and a driver. Everything was well organized and we've enjoyed the tour with a toddler on hand. Climbing 500 steps was exhausting with a kid, but scenery was worth it. Highlight of the tour was a boat ride in Tam Coc with amazing and quiet scenery. There are old ladies that for a tip will give you a boat ride. The view was beautiful and strangely there were few tourists. Overall the tour is worth the money.

This is an area of spectacular beauty that many visitors would not know about or know how to access without a tour like this one. It is a full day of activities and my suggestion if possible, would be to visit at a time other than peak summer. An amazing lunch was a highlight. Be sure to clarify with your guide what a proper tip is for the boat ride. They tried to double dip with us and the guide made a complaint to the authorities

We are very happy for our traveling...we enjoy it. Our tour guide (rose), she is a very good person, nice, friendly, and helpfull. She makes our traveling happy and meaningfull for us...we can enjoy it without in a hurry...she can manage it well depen to the conditions, especially for my mom (70 years old).. Exceptional guided tour with Ms Thuong, she has always the smile and she have the sense of humour while explaining in the best way the vietnamese History and heritage. The tour is amazing with wonderful landscapes and activities are diversified. Rich experience I highly recommand !

I took a day trip to Nin binh with tour guide Jenna. The tour ran smoothly and Jenna is a very cheerful and optimistic tour guide. I love relaxing on boat ride on Tam coc river. It was very worth value for money.

I had a very good 1 day trip to Ninh Binh area visiting a few temples, some caves and an enjoyable 13 km boat ride on a river. The luxury bus came and picked me up at my Hanoi hotel on time and we had a great introduction from our guide, Rose, who was very professional, knowledgeable, fun and energetic. The day went as planned and Rose, who has a really great English, really took care of us.

A tour, full of different types of activities. Seeing Ancient King temple, beautiful lake and mesmerizing view from Hill top pagoda. Perfect place to take photos. Buffet was good, having enough options for we vegetarian. Leisurely boat ride for 90 minutes was perfect after lunch. Finally we had a biking tour but feel not much worth going up to ancient pagoda rather go for sunset. Remember it Is a long tour and bit tiring. Our tour guide Ms Linh, Aloha Travel,ensured to keep group enthusiasm high.

On our single day trip to Ninh Binh, my expectations were blown away. In the morning we were picked up from the heart of Hanoi and driven about 2 hours out of the major city to enjoy wonderful and luscious scenery, encapsulating some of Vietnam’s most amazing nature. Throughout the day we were taken on an incredible adventure by our guide Rose, where we were able to do some cycling, hiking and boating. She was very knowledgeable and great at explaining the deep history of Vietnam. Our highlight was being able to see Bich Dong Pegoda. We enjoyed every aspect of the trip!!!

Our day trip to Ninh Binh was better than we ever could have expected! We were picked up in a luxurious bus and greeted by the most friendly guide, Rose. Rose made us feel so welcome and she had great knowledge about Hanoi and wider Vietnam. The highlight of our trip was Dong Am Tien, the scenery was stunning and something we will never forget. The boat ride was just as beautiful, followed by a bike ride to the Bich Dong Pagoda. I can highly recommend with tour and this tour company. If you are luckily enough to have Rose as your tour guide you will have an amazing time!

We had a pleasant trip at Tam Coc Ninh Binh. Our tour guide Huong (Rose) was very friendly and shared many interesting facts about the places and Vietnamese culture. The group was a little bit crowded (20 people) and we waited for another two people in the same tour for about 15' to get back to Hanoi. Otherwise the rating would have been higher. Overall the trip was good with fun activities, especially the sampan boat trip on the river.

Loan She was so intelligent to know all of the history related to tour in detail. I could enjoy this day thaks to her. Providing water at first and last and snacks for hungries was also nice. She was so kind and take care of all of us well.

We went on the day trip from Hanoi to Nihn Bihn. It is beautiful and well worth the time to take a day for the tour. We were picked up from the hotel in the morning, and drove to Nihn Bihn (about 2 hours) on a comfortable bus. Spent the day exploring the area with our wonderful guide, Loan. The group was a good size and Loan was very informative and fun. We had a nice buffet lunch that was included in the tour. And spent time biking, and on a boat on the river. The area and countryside is beautiful and worth visiting! The tour took us back to Hanoi, and we were dropped off around 7:30pm (they actually dropped us off at a restaurant we wanted to go to instead of back at our hotel, which was really nice)

Our guide Loan was very informative, enthusiastic and good-natured during our long day together. She handled our group very well, and gave us a lot of history behind what we were seeing. She was obviously very proud of her country, and wanted to make sure we understood some of the traditions and cultural highlights of the region. The lunch buffet included provided a great variety of food options that were a very representation of Vietnamese cuisine. The bicycles used during the afternoon portion of our tour need to be seriously serviced or replaced. The brakes barely worked on most of the bicycles and a few of our group had other mechanical issues. Mr. Thuy, our driver, was very good, safe and had a sense of humor. Heeled make the long ride to & from Hanoi bearable. Would strongly recommend Aloha Tours and Loan and Mr. Thuy. Patrick T.

Loan was our guide for this trip and she was awesome, she gave us a lot of useful informations. She was friendly and made us feel so comfortable. She knows a lot about Buddhism and history and she explained very well everything and answered everyone’s questions. I sincerely recommend her.

We had such a great trip to Ninh Binh! First we visited the ancient capital, after which we climbed 500 steps and had an amazing view of the city. The lunch was excellent, followed by a stunning boat trip and bike ride. Our tour guide Tommy (Thi) was very helpful and extremely friendly. We could ask him everything, his English is also very good. Overall: I highly recommend!

This trip was so fantastic! It was recommended to us by our hotel and it did not disappoint. We were picked up on time and had a very small group which was perfect.
