Itinerary
08 am : Our car & guide pick you up at your hotel for Hanoi City Tour. To begin our trip, we visit Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Museum, and his house – on – stilts, pond and garden, and the Presidential palace while learning about his life and revolutionary activities. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is an important historical attraction of Hanoi, known for honoring the national hero : President Ho Chi Minh. This is the place where visitors can express their admiration and gratitude towards the common father of Vietnamese who has led the country to independence and reunification. On the way out visit One Pillar Pagoda. One Pillar Pagoda is a historic Buddhist temple in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. As you visit Hanoi, you may come to various other monuments, parks and historical places. Yet, the One-Pillar Pagoda reflects the architectural splendour that the country has grown. Around 11:00:Arrive at the Temple of Literature - the first Royal National university in Vietnam - to learn more about education in Vietnam since 1000 years ago until recent history. 12:00: Lunch time at local restaurant, enjoy Vietnamese traditional cuisine with a variety of food. 13.00: Continue to visit the interesting Pagoda :Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 - 548). The Buddhist shrine has undergone several changes throughout the years, particularly its renaming from An Quoc to Tran Quoc (protecting the country) by Emperor Le Huy Tong in the 17th century. 15:10: Visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword lake) and Ngoc Son Temple. Hoan Kiem Lake is considered the center of Hanoi, not only physically but also symbolically. Hoan Kiem lake is still a pride of all Hanoians and the center for any distance measurement. Nowadays, it’s still a gathering place yet new Hanoians may live too far to count their distance to the lake. Still, as you walk by, you will be able to witness the pace of life in this peculiar city. Ngoc Son Temple is Hanoi's most visited temple which sits on a small island in the northern part of Hoan Kiem Lake, connected to the lakeshore by an elegant scarlet bridge, constructed in classical Vietnamese style 15:35: Take an 35 to 40 minutes walking tour around the Old quarter to discover the streets. 16:30: Return to your hotel. Finish your tour!

Thank u so much Thu trang! You must have been very tired. Thank you so much for coming to see me. Next time, I will introduce delicious Korean food with sujin.
A full day tour but car for 4 people was too small. Liked to have seen more of the old quarter and the history rather than see war remnants. Food was very nice in an old traditional house/ restaurant. Expected to see the Hanoi Hilton but not offered. Highlight of the day was sitting next to the train on train street - exhilarating and frightening in equal measures. Apart from mausoleum and Ho Chi Minhs house you could do this for free. Very political
A very interesting few hours with an excellent guide. Saw Maison Centrale, Train Street, many other notable places.
Private tour with a driver and tour guide, Tai. Visited most major sites. One unexpected visit was the cafe along the railroad track where we sip drinks while sitting against the wall and watch a 20 car train pass us by with only inches of space to clear. Tai is knowledgeable about the history and current dynamics in the city, and he is highly energetic
We have a wonderful time here. The guide welcome us with good impression. He so fun and active, knowledgable about all destinations. We are all attractive by his talk about Hoa lo prison, Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple… The Hanoi people are very friendly and open, you can easy to get smile from them everywhere. The first time but very interesting tour
Good organization. We are very excited with the guide and tour in Hanoi . We hope we will come back with this company in the nearest day
I loved the beautiful scenery and the knowledge I received from the staff. I will be back very soon.
I am so impressive on beauty of Hanoi and my tour guide is so helpful. Based on my favorite, company designed a private tour for me and my family with variety of foods, nice places,..... in Hanoi.
We had a much more than expected trip. The tour guide is so helpful and humorous. He showed us many key features. Our kids were really excited during all the time, especially at Army Museum. Would definitely recommend!!!
Great way to see the sites of Hanoi. Linh was a great tour guide and was very informative about all the places visited. Would definitely recommend!
I’d like to send my sincerely thanks to Tripadvisor. I had an amazing experience in Hanoi. With the informative and personalized commentary friendly guide, I got to see and do so many things in this trip. In the morning, I visited the important buildings in Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the stilt house of Ho Chi Minh president. They’re all very captivated. Next, the guide took me to the very special architecture place – One Pillar Pagoda. Then I had a chance to visit Temple of Literature with historical relics. After that, I enjoyed unique Vietnamese food, pho bo. It was extremely delicious. One more thing that was unforgettable to me is Egg Coffee. It’s a must-try drink when coming to Hanoi. In the afternoon, I explored Hoan Kiem Lake with a leisurely one-hour cyclo tour then walked into the hidden alleys of Hanoi Old Quarter to learn about local customs and Hanoian lifestyle. I will surely come back to Vietnam and definitely recommend Tripadvisor.
I was taken by your guide to visit Hanoi. The tour guide is very considerate and thoughtful. She told us many historical stories and led us to eat delicious food in Hanoi. Your service is excellent.
Very helpful from the moment engaging this company. Also, the company has been very patient in our multiple times of queries of different options as we are on a tight budget.
If you plan to travel Southeast Asian, don’t skip the Capital of Vietnam. Hanoi retains elegance and charm not often found in this part of the world, the city’s French influence is to be seen in the fine old colonial buildings and tree lined boulevards. Ah, one thing special is that there are so many motorbikes on the road, it’s quite dangerous but really unmissable to experience. It is so deniable if you don’t try traditional Vietnamese food. How delicious is it! How great is the trip! Thank you for giving me a memorable journey.
Manage to gain more knowledge about Hanoi and knew more about the history of Hanoi. Tour guide was friendly and explained everything clearly without hesitating. Try it, if you are visiting here. Highly recommended!
I am so overwhelming of the beauty of Hanoi. I can see both the modern of buildings, hotel and the historic of Buddhism temples, old houses and streets. Moreover, Vietnamese people are so friendly, happy and hospitable. They made me feel optimistic in my life and thanks to professional guide, I could enhanced my knowledge with Vietnamese culture and history. Ah, especially, I am really interested in Ngoc Son Temple in the central of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter, which seems to be the symbol of Hanoi. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour. Our guide Mr. Kami did a great job of selecting the many interesting sights we visited. His knowledge of the history of Hanoi was greatly appreciated and we never felt rushed. Our driver did a very good job of taking us to the sights considering the crazy traffic. I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour, a perfect way to know Hanoi city and its history. Visit the Temple of Literature and the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, our guide is very knowledgeable and good in explaining the history of each place. Very please with transportation with full AC, because of the hot weather in Hanoi, AC is a must.
Having arrived in Hanoi and being a little overwhelmed at the city and what to visit and where to go, this tour was great in giving me an overview of the city and the great history behind it. Well worth it for first timers to Hanoi- highly recommend
