Luxury Full Day Ninh Binh Tour From Hanoi

My husband and I had a truly magical day with our incredibly fun and knowledgeable guide, Bob Vu. Jaw-dropping views, traveling on a boat down a sleepy river through caves and mountains was like a dream. Lunch was delicious (more than we could finish). Bicycling alongside lush waterways on shady paths with gorgeous rock formations on all sides…perfect. Nothing was crowded, no lines, calm and authentic. I attribute this stand-out experience to our guide. We were very well taken care of by Bob. Super comfortable and lots of laughs…BEST DAY IN VIETNAM for sure. Highly highly recommend! I really enjoyed having Vu as my tour guide for my trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. He is very energetic and comfortable to talk to for english speakers, as his english is very good! He is very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Vietnam as he explains it very well. Vu is very passionate about his work, he takes really good care of his customers, and he’s courteous, helpful, and very dependable. Bob was excellent! He spoke great English and you can tell he is so passionate and enthusiastic about what he does. It was a very action packed day but so worth it! Bob was an incredible guide. Very high energy and really knowledgeable. We felt very welcomed and looked after with ponchos and water continually provided. The Ninh Binh tour is more beautiful than any of these photos suggest, and is a great balance of hiking, biking, eating, and taking in the sights. Bob also made sure we had lots of photo opportunities, which was much appreciated. 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend Bob/Vu for the Ninh Binh full day tour! Incredible knowledge of history and the area with excellent English. Enjoyed all the activities couldn’t pick a standout - they were all great. Beautiful lunch and comfortable car. Would suggest you need a base level of fitness for hiking and bike riding but there was the option to take the car if needed. Needed to travel for the pickup point and turned out we could have had pickup at our hotel but that was an error on the Viator side not Bob and would say to confirm your pickup with him when he messages you. Have done many good tours in Vietnam and can honestly say this is one of the best!

This was a great tour! Our guide - Vu “Bob” was a wealth of information. The company quickly responded to our booking and communication was great. Our trip was in a very comfortable vehicle, and we were given ice cold water at every stop. I honestly can not figure out which was my favorite - the hike to the top of the mountain and the views were totally worth it; the boat ride was relaxing and serene; the lunch was AMAZING; the biking was fun (all flat - so pretty chill); and the king’s pagoda was interesting. To top it off, Vu provided us with tons of photos that he had taken of us. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Honestly, such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Bob, was the absolute best—so great, incredibly informative, and super accommodating the whole day.We started with a beautiful hike that had the most amazing views, but the boat tour was hands-down the favorite activity for both of us. Just stunning.Lunch was also so good! The lady at the restaurant was the sweetest person ever. She gave us fresh lemon water right from her garden and even gifted us these beautiful hand-embroidered washcloths. Highly recommend this tour to anyone, it was an amazing day!

This day trip to Ninh Binh was honestly one of my favorite parts of our trip to Vietnam! Everything was so easy and well organized. The bus was super nice and comfortable, which made the drive from Hanoi really relaxing. Our guide was amazing and knew so much about the history and the area, but made it really interesting instead of feeling like a lecture. The views were unreal—the mountains, rivers, and scenery were so beautiful and definitely lived up to all the pictures. I also loved that the day had a little bit of everything. It was adventurous, fun, and there were so many cool places to see. If you're visiting Hanoi, I would 100% recommend taking this trip. It was so worth it and made some of my favorite memories from Vietnam!

We had an AMAZING experience. I can’t stress enough how accommodating and kind Mrs. Anna was during the tour. We had wanted to see ducks before the tour and she was very accommodating and found us many spots while biking. She explained the history of different places and did an excellent job of taking us everywhere. The driver was also on time and everything went so smoothly.
