They're very slow at answering messages (up to a week) and the pickup time is much earlier than the selected time, so make sure the hotel you book has early breakfast or you'll miss it. Otherwise the van was conformable.

A smooth and comfortable journey from Hanoi to Sapa, even on a rainy day! The bus departed on time, and the driver was skilled and drove safely throughout the journey. We arrived in Sapa exactly as stated in the itinerary, which was great We booked the private cabin bus and Fansipan cable car ticket together, which was very convenient and affordable. Having everything arranged in one booking saved us time and hassle! One thing to note is that you need to take off your shoes before boarding the bus to keep it clean. Slippers are also provided during toilet breaks, which is a thoughtful touch. 😄 If you are taller than 185 cm, you might find it a little difficult to stretch your legs fully and sleep completely straight in the cabin. You can choose limousine seating. During the 20–30-minute break, we even had enough time to grab some supper, including instant noodles and bottled water. The prices were slightly higher than at regular convenience stores, but it was convenient. Also, remember to bring some small cash, as toilet facilities along the way may charge around 3,000 VND per use. Overall, a reliable transfer with a punctual arrival, safe driving, and useful facilities along the way. Booking the private cabin bus and Fansipan cable car together made our trip even easier and better value for money. A convenient and affordable option for travelling from Hanoi to Sapa and from Sapa to Hanoi.
I had a great experience with the bus service from Hanoi to Sapa and back. The booking process was simple, convenient, and hassle-free. Sam was very helpful and professional, coordinating everything smoothly via WhatsApp and making sure everything went according to plan. The bus was clean and comfortable, and the beds were well maintained. The journey took around 6 hours, with convenient stops along the way, making the trip more relaxing. The bus drivers were also friendly, polite, and professional. The service was reliable, affordable, and well organized. I really appreciated Sam’s dedication and support throughout the entire trip. Thank you, Sam, for making our journey so easy and enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this bus service to anyone traveling between Hanoi and Sapa.
We had a really good experience with BC Family Vietnam Open Bus Tour. The buses were new, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. We booked the Luxury Bus Private Cabin from Hanoi to Sapa and back to Hanoi, as well as the Luxury Bus from Hanoi to Hue and Da Nang. Everything went smoothly and the service was reliable. We were very happy with our trips and would definitely recommend them to friends traveling around Vietnam.
Terrible. Shuttle driver was late. Communication were not good. Driver had Friend with him and they talked all night long. It was impossible to sleep for five minutes. Road was so rough bumpypotholes swaying back-and-forth. Bus depot was not at the address provided but in some random location. Not where you want to be dropped at 5am. Worst thing I’ve done in Vietnam.
Hanoi to Sapa bus booking for 3 passengers. We booked and paid for the journey online through Tripadvisor using our credit card. After the booking, the trip organizer contacted us through WhatsApp and told us that our booking was incorrect and that we had booked Sapa to Hanoi instead of Hanoi to Sapa.(In Tripadvisor Hanoi to Sapa it was correct) Following their instructions, we cancelled the online booking. However, they then instructed us to pay the same amount in cash directly to the driver when we were picked up by Van. We followed their instructions and paid the driver in cash for the Hanoi to Sapa journey.(No receipt given) As a result, we have paid twice for the same journey – once online through Tripadvisor and once in cash to the Van driver. Unfortunately, despite cancelling the original booking as instructed, our online payment has still not been refunded. We have repeatedly contacted the organizer through WhatsApp, but nobody is responding or taking responsibility. We kindly request Tripadvisor to investigate this matter and arrange the full refund of our original online payment. We can provide the booking confirmation, cancellation details, WhatsApp messages, and payment evidence if required. Please treat this as an urgent refund request.
🚨 STRONG WARNING – THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING THIS COMPANY 🚨 Our experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. We booked our Hanoi–Sapa bus through TripAdvisor and paid online by credit card. After the booking, the company contacted us and told us that we had booked the wrong bus and that we needed to cancel the reservation. They then told us to pay them directly in cash instead. We trusted what they told us and followed their instructions. But here is the serious problem: we still have NOT received our refund for the original booking. We have now paid for the same journey twice — once through TripAdvisor by credit card and once directly to the company in cash. How is this acceptable? We did exactly what the company asked us to do, yet our original payment has still not been returned. We are extremely angry and disappointed that we have been left chasing our own money after following their instructions. This is not the way customers should be treated. We are writing this review because we do NOT want other travelers to experience what happened to us. If this company tells you to cancel a prepaid booking and pay them directly, be extremely careful. Do not pay again until you have clear confirmation that your original payment has been refunded. We are still waiting for our money back. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise travelers to be very cautious before booking and paying this company directly. We trusted them, paid as instructed, and are now left trying to recover money that should have been refunded.
We used the luxury bus service from Hanoi Airport to Sapa and from Sapa back to Hanoi, and we were very impressed with the service. BC Family Tour team was very professional and helpful. They provided us with detailed information and always kept us updated throughout the journeyy. What impressed us most was their support when my mother accidentally left some belongings on the bus. The staff went out of their way to help us locate the items, and we were very happy to get everything back. Their support was incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtful Overall, we found bcfamilytour.com Hanoi–Sapa bus service very professional, reliable, and well organized. We would definitely recommend their service to other travelers visiting Vietnam. Thank you and see you again
Our family of 5 seniors, 4 adults, and 3 children traveled with BC Family Tour during our trip to Vietnam and Laos. We first booked their Hanoi–Sapa luxury bus about two months in advance. After having a really good experience, we decided to continue booking their private transfers and tours for the rest of our trip, including Halong Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang,Phong Nha, Da Nang and Hoi An, and Laos. With such a large family, especially with elderly people and children, arranging transportation and tours can be quite complicated. What we really appreciated was that BC Family Tour helped us organize everything together. By booking the tours and transfers with them as a package we were able to save both time and money compared with arranging similar services separately After using their services throughout our trip, we are very happy with our decision and truly appreciate all the support from their team. They made traveling with our big family much easier and more convenient Thank you so much, BC Family Tour! We still have more places in Vietnam that we want to explore, so we will definitely contact you again on our next trip. We will also be happy to recommend you to our friends and family ! Highly recommended!
Pick up is an hour before stated on booking which was annoying as the reason we booked with this company is because it said pick up at 8:30 which left us time for breakfast. The limousine bus was much bigger and slower than expected, I thought it was going to be a minivan. I asked to be sat near the front due to pregnancy and this was ignored. Whole trip took 7hrs when it should have taken 5-6. Poor communication from outset, no reply to messages for over 24hrs. Would not recommend. Will stick with GetYourGuide in future.
Exactly what expected!!! Great communication with Lily travel on WhatsApp and would use em again!!!
Timely. Comfortable ride. Excellent service. Highly recommend!
Daisy who did organizing of the pick ups and getting everyone in seats and to and from hotels was brilliant.she is a great communicator who let us know any changes and we couldn't recommend working with her for administration any more highly, 5 stars. However the actual bus ride was FAR too long every other bus on the road passed us.tge driver would stop and wander off and never told us what was happening. We left at 8 am and didn't arrive till after 4pm! We were going to book return but with bad experience went with another company and they got us there in 2 hrs less and had a flat tyre and repaired it on the way!
The bus ride was smooth. The bus was stopped couple times, every two hours, for bedroom break ... that was good.
Very unfriendly drivers, unprofessional.
Just an average sleeper bus ride… pillows has slight odour, I came to realise that bus fare from this seller is almost USD $10 higher than similar rides, hence I hardly would recommend using this service. Better bargain without compromising on quality can be found elsewhere where. 😌😌😌
Impressive & comfy limo bus. The scheduling is a bit weird. We booked the 8:30am Sapa-Hanoi but it actually left Sapa bus station at ~10:15am. I think 8:30 is an estimate for hotel pick ups. You have to be a bit flexible.
I had an amazing experience with BCfamilyTour, and a big part of that was thanks to Sam. From the very beginning, Sam guided and supported me every step of the way, making sure I didn’t miss the bus going to Sapa. His attentiveness and dedication truly made a difference in my trip. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and well-equipped to assist with everything I needed. He speaks excellent English, which made communication smooth and easy. Not only did he ensure I got on the right bus to Sapa, but he also helped me book the sleeper bus back to Hanoi without any hassle. What impressed me most was how much he genuinely cared about making my stay as wonderful as Vietnam can offer. He took the time to make sure everything was arranged properly so I could simply relax and enjoy the experience. Having Sam as part of your team is truly one of the best decisions you’ve made. His professionalism, kindness, and commitment to helping travelers stand out. Thank you, Sam, and thank you to BCFamilyTour for such a fantastic experience!
Great experience, everything was smooth
Comfortable ride with the right pacing of stops. However, the driver could afford to be more polite; he came across as a little grumpy.
Sam was very responsive and helpful and even offered to provide a ride for my family to my hotel outside the Old Quarters. Though a basic tour bus ride, the company also provide other tour packages and able to help with other coordinations. My recommendation is to look for Sam if you have questions regarding the trips to multiple places and types of buses they provide. Thanks Sam.
We rode this bus of HK Lines from Hanoi to Sapa and then back. We were 11 family members with an elderly. It was such a comfortable experience. the bus is very clean as you can't bring your shoes inside the bus. There is ample space because only 25 people are accommodated. There is a blanket to keep you warm. There are outlets also for gadgets. The ride is smooth and we all felt safe. There are 2 rest stops so you could do bio break in clean stops. In these stops you can also have your meal or snacks. They also picked us up in the Old Quarter where we stayed. And guided us too to our hotel when we came back. It was such a wise decision for us to get this kind of accommodation from HK Lines. Thanks to the driver for the trip on December 24 at 7:30 AM. We didn't have the opportunity to ask your name but big thanks to you Sir!
We recently travelled between Sapa and Hanoi, using this service on the 19th of November 2025. Communication with Daisy was great, can't fault them. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the terminal. We had more people in the van than seats, and had stools in the isle. It was rather uncomfortable and felt unsafe. When we got to the terminal, staff ignored us. We were unsure what to do, being the first visit. The bus would have been nicer if it were clean. I found chewed chewing gum stuck to the back of hand wipes in my pod, the vents were dirty, the tv remote didn't work, there were no headphones, and the first driver was very rude to us. When we stopped at the first point, my wife went to go to the toilet. The driver scoffed at her and made her feel like she couldn't go, when she left the bus. He was very impatient and disrespectful. The next issue we had was there were 2 other local people sitting at the front of the bus, which had got on later. They were all talking so loud with the driver, so we couldn't sleep, and one was clipping his toe nails on the door steps whilst we were driving. This is disgusting, as we all had to take our shoes off before entering the bus, then had to exit the bus where he had done this. The next issue we faced was the transfer in Hanoi. We were advised that once in Hanoi, a transfer bus would take us to the hotel as the bigger bus wouldn't fit. When we arrived in Hanoi, the transfer bus was full, and couldnt take us. We were unsure whether they wouldnt send another, so we ended up walking to out hotel instead. For $90AUD, I would not do this again. There were so many red flags! Chose wisely, there are many more better options.
Nice clean bus. Great trip. Two stops during the trip to go to restroom and buy som snack or drinks. Take meditation if you easely get " sea sick "
Great experience, would definitely do again. Cozy little sleeper bus, comfortable, a few stops between Hanoi and Sapa for bathroom breaks. Water provided.
I thought the luxury bus travel was sensational. I had my doubts about it and am really pleased to have tried it & will most certainly travel this way again in future. Much better than flying. Arrived in Sapa rested & ready to go. It is not for everyone however. We were in the lower bunks & getting in & out would be difficult for those in not very good physical shape. I am 77 & my partner 71 - we are both quite fit & managed with just a little difficulty. We both loved it.
The minivan picked us up at our hotel on time which is fantastic arrived out our next destination had to wait a little bit but not a concern off on our trip to Sa pa the rooms were comfortable as I am 6.2 feet rest stops well organised so if you want to go to Sa pa this is the way to do it And the communication between myself and Daisy was fantastic Thanks very much
Very happy with how the trip went. We were picked on time, I had the upper sleeper, and it was a good fit. Stopped twice for 30 minutes each, but be aware that there isn't a lot of variety.
Saoviet Bus Company. Safe and economic ride from Sapa to Hanoi. Bought tickets two days before and they did not put us together. Found out at bus depot and they would not adjust our seating. Employees at depot and on bus were very rude and aggressive. Probably better for non foreigners.
We had a very comfortable and smooth journey from Hanoi to Sapa. Communication was excellent. Thank you. Highly recommended.
The bus was efficient. The people communicated well on WhatsApp when we were lost at the airport to find them (make sure you find out where floor 2 is through the stairs if you get picked up at Hanoi airport). The wifi worked great on the way there but my charger didn’t work and on the way back my charger worked but the wifi didn’t. However, we felt safe, it is far more comfortable going on this kind of lay down bus even if you are tall as I am 183cm and it was FAR nicer than sitting on a bus. The aircon was great and they supplied a blanket and pillow to make you comfortable. If you get travel sick bring sick bags as there are on none on the bus. They provide you with a water bottle and tissue packet. The bus drivers don’t speak very good english but try their best, so if you need anything, make sure you have sorted it through WhatsApp before. Would use them again if going elsewhere and needing a bus to get there in Vietnam! I forgot to say, the chairs even have a massage function which is pretty cool. There is also a tv if you want to watch it with their headphones.
Pretty good service! The shuttles picked us all up in good time, then took us to the big bus for travel. It was very comfy and they had everything you’d need for a comfy journey, and you could definitely sleep well on it so long as you’re under 6’0. That said, the bus was a little over-worked and needed a couple breaks on the way up the hill to Sapa.
The Sleeper Bus from Hanoi to Sapa was incredible. Luxury private cabin was worth it. Great driver. Fantastic for families who want comfort on their trip!
Had a bottom sleeper, comfortable two stops on the trip blanket and pillow provided Very punctual pick up and drop off to hotels Recommended
We booked G8 sleeper bus for our trip from Hanoi to Sapa and back for 3 passengers. Ms Daisy (BCFamilytour.com) was very helpful, prompt and responsive in assisting me in clarifying my queries once my bookings are confirmed. Transfer bus from G8 was on time (both in Hanoi and Sapa) to pick us up from our hotel to G8 bus station (6am) as our bus is at 7am (11 April 2025); and 1.10 pm for our bus at 2pm (13 April 2025). G8’s bus driver (main bus and transfer bus) was very helpful and assisted with our luggage. G8 bus (for Hanoi to Sapa) was in excellent condition (ie see photos of bus). We got our free water bottle, sleeper bus was clean and massage seats work. Bus driver was proactive and courteous and communicate well with me via Google translation (English/ Vietnamese). G8 bus (for Sapa and Hanoi) was in average condition (2pm, 13 April 2025). Probably the bus didn’t have time to be cleaned thoroughly due to immediate turnover of passengers (ie previous passengers arrive and new passengers go up immediately, no turnaround time for cleaning). Also the ‘back pillow’ for all 3 seats were missing. One of our sleeper seats massager was ‘faulty’/ not working. Recommendation/ Suggestion: (1) I suggest G8 allow some ‘turnaround’ time to clean the bus for better customer experience if the bus is being used immediately. (2) Also, I noted that it’s a bit ‘chaotic’ in managing the G8 passengers at Sapa (2pm, 13 April) (i.e. which G8 bus that the passengers have booked and which G8 they supposed to go up). There is a bus co-ordinator (who can’t speak English), and there were many G8 buses (ie 3 buses) that arrive about same time. It would be helpful if co-ordination can speak some English and there is proper signage (for the G8 bus, eg G8 A1 (for 2pm); G8 B1 (for 2pm) etc. Note: G8 bus at Sapa has some proper seats for waiting passengers in the office. Overall, we are very happy that we have booked G8 sleeper bus for our trip from Hanoi to Sapa and back. This is due to the excellent and good support by Ms Daisy and bus driver experience. The bus condition is ok. I will definitely consider to book G8 sleeper bus for my next trip to Sapa, Vietnam. Thanks. Best regards, Mike
Daisy and Sam are very accomodating while I was booking our tours from Hanoi to Sapa. They are great listeners to their customer needs. As a first intl traveller with a toddler, its a gem to find a travel agent that will recommend what is best and give great deals 👌.
This is a great way to get between Hanoi and Sa Pa. View the scenery from your own recliner cabin rather than taking the night train. -Note Harder to get in and out of seats if you are very tall or have mobility issues. Trip can be a bit rough if you are seated directly above wheels. Takes about 6 hours each way. Ran on time each way. All staff very helpful and efficient - especially Daisy! Thanks!
We took the sleeper bus. It might have been ok except we had the back cabins over the noisy engine. It was an experience but we didn't sleep a wink!
Comfortable bus ride with sufficient stops, efficient and got us there earlier than expected. Easy to confirm tickets and cabins.
Hard to navigate booking. Pickup on time. Daisy was very good with communication. Drivers were excellent. Bus broke down and was replaced in 15minutes. Excellent service.
Well coordinated by the team -- adjusted for pickup from airport, gave live updates about pickup arrival (vehicle number, driver phone number, exact time, exact location) Clean vehicle -- all amenities working fine, clean pillow/blanket, clean seat, provided for footwear to maintain cleanliness inside Good driver -- unlike what we had read online about inter-city travel in Vietnam, the driver was not driving rash, not honking too much Overall, great value for money
Pickup and drop were perfect. On time and to the point. Two stops midway 30 minutes each which is more than really required. Legspace in bus was less for me considering my height is 5’10”. Seats are comfortable. Please bring your own food as stopover hardly has any decent options. Good coffee is available though.
This is the best bus I’ve taken in Vietnam, after more than 60 days of traveling here. From booking, where their travel experts offered friendly, enthusiastic advice, to the bus experience itself, everything was professional. They provided clear information and answered all my questions. I chose the luxury private car bus, and it was amazing—I could enjoy a massage, lie down to sleep, listen to music, and had a cozy blanket, making it feel like I was in a 6-star hotel. The travel time was also perfectly on schedule. The staff at the office and the online support specialists spoke excellent English, even for someone from Liverpool, England. I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends. Thank you so much!
The limousine bus from Hanoi to Sapa was incredibly comfortable and luxurious. We researched many bus companies before ultimately choosing this one due to their affordable prices and exceptional support from travel experts, giving it a 6-star service quality. The tours they organized in Sapa were also very affordable. We had an unforgettable experience in Sapa, and after our stay, we even booked their bus service from Sapa to Ha Giang. We are also booking through their website, bcfamilytour.com, where we found that their tours and buses are priced competitively and truly worth the cost.
The comfortable luxury cabin bus from Hanoi to Sapa. We have transfers in Hanoi city and Sapa by minivan. and whole trip with clean, comfortable luxury cabin. It stops 2 times on the route to break. I need to drop-off at the airport and they arranged it.
The driver arrived punctually. Directions for the meeting point were clear. The bus was reasonably clean. We stopped twice for bathroom and food breaks. The roads were very hilly, but the driver navigated them expertly. We arrived on time and safely.
Comfortable cabin bus, driver picked up on time and drop-off at hotels in Sapa. Supported by Sam and Daisy easily. Highly recommend!
The bus has 4 armchair seats, but the company sells more than 4 tickets so if you are the last to be picked and the 5th person you will end up with a normal seat. Nothing luxury about your trip!
Positive: overall good communication, and on-time pick up and drop off. To be improved: quality and condition of the truck. The trucks we were in were pretty used up, with pieces of the chair and ventilation system broken off. Also, in the back row, not very comfortable, especially when somebody in front reclines their seat directly into your lap.
Comfortable ride was a little cool, had a few stops along the 4.30 to 5 hour ride. Note stops need 3,000VND for toilets and own water to take.
