Lost In Hanoi: Old Quarter Stories & Hidden Gems

We had the most wonderful afternoon with our guide Van, she was funny and spoke great English as she navigated the narrow streets of the old quarter which included markets, temples, what people were selling and everything in between. She even found us a table to watch the train in train street. Totally amazing and well worth it. Book with these guys, you will have a wonderful time.

I had, I’d say, the best walking tour ever with Son today. I actually can’t get over how much I enjoyed it! I was able to ask all my question and he gave me such brilliant information about Hanoi. Also, he brought me to some great spots! Go raibh míle maith agat !

Amazing Tour with our tourguide Julia!

We had a great time with our tour guide Julia. She gave us great insights into the culture and history of Hanoi and Vietnam and we learned a lot. She further spoke English very well and was very enthusiastic. We would definitely recommend :)

Lisa was a knowledgable and friendly local guide, showing me the highlights of the old quarter and the treasures it holds (especially the food). I experienced peach iced tea, Vietnamese donuts and custard apple, which were all amazing. The cherry on top was the bun cha restaurant she recommended to me at the end of the tour, which was my culinary highlight of Vietnam!

Great tour in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. We walked through the narrow streets, visited temples, saw the old railway station, and also experienced Train Street when the train passed by. I learned a lot about the history and the area. Our guide Vân explained everything clearly and did a great job throughout the tour. Highly recommended

Van was the most wonderful tour guide and really made us feel settled in our trip to Vietnam, showing us all the best spots. She even messages later and gave us her top tips for places to visit and things to eat! So helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

Shaun gave us an excellent tour through Hanoi at night. He adjusted things to suit our pace and interests as we went along and was very accommodating.

Julia really knows her stuff about the city but what makes her tour so good is the fact she brings so much energy, gets people involved and can joke around a bit too. We had a group of about nine and she engaged with everyone and took questions as well as posing a few. She sorted everything out and it was really interesting to get a deeper understanding of the city. It was about three or four hours but she sorted out tables at Train Street right in time for the train coming through and it was a tremendous experience. This is a free tour but she really earned the money that the group gave her at the end and I would definitely recommend it if you want to learn a bit more about the heart of Hanoi.

Our tour was exactly what 3 seniors from Canada needed. Lisa was professional informative fun, experienced and confident She guides us through the streets with ease and calmness. The tour with Mrs. Van was a amazing way to discover Hanoi and its history, we really enjoyed it ! The train street is an absolute highlight and so much fun, it’s a must do when you are in Hanoi

Our tour quide for this fabulous and informative tour was Shaun . Shaun was fabulous , providing us with lots of information about Hanoi and also TET . We enjoyed wandering around with shaun seeing many things we wouldn't have stumbled across by ourselves and of course a great visit to train street as well . We started our first day in Hanoi with our walking tour guide Julia. Thanks to her we understood precisely what history is hidden behind this amazing place. On top of that, she revealed to us the hidden streets where the ordinary tourist doesn't look :) Julia is very knowledgeable and her English is excellent, she has a fantastic sense of humour. A breathtaking view of an amazing city by Van that allows you to really see the city. To be able to hear about the history and culture of Hanoi while also getting a great understand of modern day Vietnam this tour was one of my all time favourites.
