It was a really lovely excursion. The actives were fun and timed well! The food was good and the views amazing. Pick-up was a bit unclear, we showed up to the office (as our hotel was not on their list) and there was no-one there. It was fine in the end and no problems. We greatly enjoyed the biking and the kayaking. A great day!

This trip was well planned from start to finish. After departing from Old Quarter we were introduced to "Tuna", our tour guide, who made sure our entire trip was enjoyable. The views were immaculate, the food was delicious, and the boat was luxurious.

A really enjoyable day out on the water. Lan Ha Bay is noticeably quieter than the main Ha Long routes, so the atmosphere on board stayed relaxed the whole day — plenty of space on the sundeck, no crowded boat traffic, and the karst scenery is stunning from start to finish. The staff were the highlight — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with the kayaks and swimming. English was clear enough to follow all the explanations. For the price, it's solid value given the food, equipment, and transfers are all included. Booking through Cat Ba Express was smooth and the pickup was on time.

The entire experience was super smooth and especially our tour guide TUNA, was super supportive and gave us great description about each place and was very welcoming in all of our requirements as we had a quiet a few. Will definately recommend this to everyone who's coming here as usually I like to arrange travels etc on my own but in this case it was an excellent decision!

Our cruise in Lan Ha Bay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam, and we were impressed from the very beginning to the very end. The organization was excellent. One day before the trip, we received a WhatsApp message with all the important information about the pick-up point and the guide’s contact details. On the morning of the excursion, our guide called us about 30 minutes before departure to confirm that everything was on schedule. This gave us a great feeling of confidence and showed how professionally the whole trip was organized. The bus from Hanoi was very comfortable, and our guide Binh spoke excellent English. On the way from Hanoi to Cat Ba Island, there was only one short 15-minute stop — just enough time to have breakfast and stretch our legs. And then the real luxury began! 😍 The yacht was absolutely beautiful — modern, spacious and practically brand new. The crew was extremely friendly and attentive. As soon as we started cruising through Lan Ha Bay, we were served lunch. There was a fantastic selection of seafood, meat, fish, fruit and desserts, and the food was constantly replenished. There was definitely more than enough for everyone. The yacht itself deserves a special mention. It has three decks, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. We went straight into the pool with our children, and swimming while slowly cruising through the spectacular limestone landscape of Lan Ha Bay was simply amazing. It was such a relaxing and unforgettable experience! Throughout the trip, the crew kept us informed about the next activities and made sure everything went smoothly. One of the highlights was the visit to the national park. We had the opportunity to enjoy the island’s beautiful natural surroundings, first riding through the park in open electric vehicles and then cycling for a while. The fish foot massage was absolutely hilarious! 😂 We were laughing until we cried because it was so ticklish — none of us could keep our feet in the water for more than 10 seconds! After that, we returned to the yacht for kayaking and swimming. There was a choice between swimming in the sea or using the pools. Since there were some jellyfish in the water, we decided to stay with the children in the pool and jacuzzi instead. The second half of the day was cloudy, so the heated jacuzzi was absolutely perfect. While we were relaxing in the water, the crew prepared fresh fruit for us as a snack. These little details really showed how attentive they were to their guests. Overall, this was one of the brightest and most memorable experiences of our entire trip to Vietnam. Our children even said that they wanted to stay and live on the yacht! 😄 Everything was organized to a very high standard — from the first WhatsApp communication and booking process, through the transportation and cruise itself, all the way to safely returning us to Hanoi. A huge thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience! We would definitely recommend this cruise and company and would be very happy to travel with you again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good tour Great guide (Bing) I hurt my coccyx with the toboggan slide and it severely limits the rest of my trip. Unacceptable. I hope my review will prevent it to happen to other customers

The trip involves multiple transfer: first - 2hours - confortbale bus ride from Hanoi to small boat harbour second - 15mins to Catba bus pickup third - 30mins Catba bus to Cruise point One day trip activity: activities involved - cycling at Catba national park Kayaking Swimmimg Jet ski ride banana boat ride lunch at cruise was of quality and taste. drinks also available on the cruise with additonal charge Cruise was not at all crowded and had two swiming pools on the second deck. started the trip 7am and drop off 8pm back to pick up point. five star to this tour company.

We had a great day tour from Hanoi, the kayaking & swim in the bay was the best among them. Cycling in the National Park (no animals , just a protected area) was a fun experience amidst the nature. In the limited time, you can choose one of cycling or a fish spa. Vegan options were limited but good. Levi as the host assisted everyone well from start to end. We initially planned for the Boutique Cruise but it was sold out for Monday when we checked the previous night evening, and chose Grandeur. Our friends had recommended Lan Ha Bay to be a better option since Ha Long Bay is overcrowded. And it was a great decision.

I was picked up early in the morning. After a long bus drive, then boat, then another bus, boat, finally we reached the main boat. Our guide Binh/Billy was very knowledgeable and funny, and spoke good English. He gave us history and geography lectures, and provided all the information necessary. Lan Ha Bay is beautiful, and not many people and boats are around since it is narrower than Ha Long Bay. That is, no huge cruise ships. Lunch buffet was good, kayaking and swimming was fun. I wish we had a little more time for swimming. We also saw the filming location of the Kong: Skull Island, and biked in the field.

I went in the 2 day/1 night Cat Ba island and Lan Ha Bay cruise. The first day involved hiking in Cat Ba National Park and visiting the Bat caves, and Hospital cave (a hospital bunker during the Vietnam war - fascinating!), all of which I would recommend. The Lan Ha bay cruise on Day 2 was an absolute highlight, with great photos to be taken from the cruise ship, on the rowing boats going through caves, and then kayaking through the bay and swimming/resting at a beach, and towels provided. Furthermore, the bay was quiet with only a few boats, unlike Halong Bay which looked absolutely packed! I chose the all inclusive package, which included lunch dinner, hotel breakfast and then lunch and tea on day. The food served on the cruise was fantastic, and the hotel that was booked exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke English which was handy for the majority of attendants. I would recommend the Cat Ba Express, the bus and ship were good quality both inside and out, clean and well maintained, and as was the speedboat that transferred us from the mainland to Cat Ba Island.

Over 3.5 hours from central Hanoi to get there, via an hour-plus in Hanoi's hideous gridlock. That's followed by a short boat ride between two grotty "ports" and then another bus ride across Cat Ba island (nothing to see there at all). Finally got on the Serenity boat and it's very plush. Very good staff, great big windows for viewing and the hot tub at the back was very welcome - we went late January when the weather was about 20C and grey skies. The food was beautifully presented, but very small portions. If you're at all picky, you would be left hungry. Kayaking into the lagoon was nice and peaceful. If you're on this tour instead of Halong Bay, you notice an almost complete lack of other tourists, which makes it much better, the reason we chose it. The biggest thing I would say is if it's grey skies, those big rocks and the sea look very dull, which is a real shame.

A fabulous day trip, a lot of different transport to get there, bus, boat, bus, boat before the cruise boat. But worth it. Lunch was presented beautifully. Not only entrance to the park, a cycle ride, ish nibbling fish, Kayaking, swimming included but 2 Jacuzzis on board. Lots of communication from the company about pick ups, and all day. We'll worth it.
