This tour is definately a great choice to explore the north of vietnam. The itinerary, stops and explanations by our great guide Bruce Lee were astounding. We learned about the history of Vietnam, all the steps of incense making and the cherry on top was the great scenery of Tam Coc. I would absolutely recommend getting this tour, you should ask for Bruce Lee as your tour guide to get the best experience!

We loved our day trip to Ninh Binh! It was such a great way to experience culture, see the countryside and to learn more about Vietnam’s history and geography. The incense village was extremely interesting, the boat ride through Ninh Binh was beautiful and the lunch was delicious. This tour was a bit underwhelming. I don't know if I was just Vietnam-ed out by this point ( I had already been there for almost three weeks) but the "incense village" is just a little courtyard decorated with incense where they take tourists for photos. The lunch was amazing and the boat ride down the river under the caves in Ninh Binh was super cool. It's a long day for what you actually see and experience

Lovely experience, to Ninh Binh, Incense village and Tam Coc. Tam our tour guide was friendly with a great sense of humour . He is very knowledgeable and able to communicate well. Our driver was careful and also super friendly. Our Lunch experience was tasty, we'll prepared and presented well. Compliments to the chef and team. Our boat trip on Tam Coc was magnificent . The scenic views were awesome. Just a big word of thanks to Tam and driver for picking us up earlier from the boat trip as it was very long. This was definitely worth every penny

The tour guide Ngoc was very nice. He did his best with taking photos of the group, and had cold water prepared for the group. I enjoyed the tour however I hoped that I would get to see more of Ninh Binh. At least another 1 hour of possibly walking towards the highest peak or driving to see the temple at the top. Otherwise, it was a good tour but I think it could have been great if added at least 1 more of hour of staying in Ninh Binh

We have combo tour in incense village and Nim Bihn . We have excellent experience. , both driver and tour guide Q and A did a good job . We are satisfied with their service and qill recommend . I wonder if they have package tour or rate special if you’re student .

As far as the composition of the trip is concerned, the incense village could have been avoided. It’s just a small factory of incense sticks with colourful incenses load out just for photo shoots. Not much worth for if one is interested in history, culture. Hence for that reason the second part of the trip was more interesting. Now as far as the guide, Tam, was concerned, he could have been a bit more engaging and spend more time in Hoa Lu. Overall he was a bit hurried. Even for the boat ride in Ninh Binh, he insisted on taking two boats (we are a family of 4 including two children), pay a certain amount of tips, pick us up before from a point before the trip ends and ask for an amount for my smallest child although being an all inclusive trip (the reason cited was her height!). Lunch was a set Vietnamese venue, but was ok! So overall, not a great experience as compared to the standards of a “Viator” experience. And obviously, Tam is not an ideal guide!

Our tour guide, QA, was fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely great to be around. He spoke clear English and kept us informed throughout the day, updating us on timing, traffic, options, and each upcoming destination. Even though thunderstorms were forecast, he came prepared with umbrellas for our whole family, which we really appreciated. He shared interesting historical insights at every stop, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. On top of that, he went out of his way to help us capture special moments by taking photos and videos for us. Overall, QA made the day smooth, engaging, and memorable.

Quang Phu Cau Incense Village — looks like a vibrant, aromatic bouquet of flowers. Bamboo laborious cut, dyed in boiling bright colors, laid out like big flowers drying in the sun. Then they roll on this mix of herbs + wood powder (cinnamon/sandalwood smell), some by hand, some with little machines. Old craft done by hand, moving faster now. A lot of workers no shoes on. My big toe still hurts from looking at them. Dust just hanging in the air, you see it , wear it, smell it, we wore masks. They had no protective gear. Spiderwebs everywhere. A woebegone looking dog happily greeted us.

This tour was really great. The in depth look at the incense village. The historical information at the Ancient City, The very tasty lunch. The highlight though was the boat trip at Tam Coc. Truly a Halong Bay experience! Our guide Bruce Lee was friendly, informative, professional and had a great sense of humour, His English is excellent and he went the extra mile to make our tour as comfortable as possible, providing cushions and an umbrella for the boating as well as nice new life jackets. Would recommend highly this tour and if possible this tour guide!!

We’ve got a nice experience for this trip, Ninh Binh, the beautiful pics and production process from the incense village, the historical knowledge from Hua Lu Temple and the great scenery in almost 1 hour from the boat experience. Especially for the staff, Tom and Jerry, they are so kind and full of service mind, with a lot of funny and engaging stories from Tom.
